Kur nj\u00eb kujdestar e goditi p\u00ebr l\u00ebmosh\u00eb, plaku profetizoi vdekjen e tij n\u00eb vet\u00ebm nj\u00eb dit\u00eb. Sh\u00ebn Thomai jetoi si v\u00eblla n\u00eb nj\u00eb nga manastiret e Cezares\u00eb n\u00eb Kapadokia n\u00eb Azin\u00eb e Vog\u00ebl. Sh\u00ebrbimi q\u00eb i ishte besuar ishte t\u00eb mblidhte l\u00ebmosh\u00eb p\u00ebr nevojat e v\u00ebllaz\u00ebris\u00eb. P\u00ebr k\u00ebt\u00eb q\u00ebllim shpesh d\u00ebrgohej n\u00eb Antioki, pran\u00eb s\u00eb cil\u00ebs ndodhej edhe nj\u00eb fshat q\u00eb i p\u00ebrkiste manastirit t\u00eb tij. Sa her\u00eb q\u00eb plaku hynte n\u00eb qytet, ai praktikonte menj\u00ebher\u00eb d\u00eblir\u00ebsin\u00eb p\u00ebr hir t\u00eb Krishtit. N\u00eb k\u00ebt\u00eb m\u00ebnyr\u00eb ai fshihte virtytin e tij nga syt\u00eb e njer\u00ebzve dhe pranoi leht\u00ebsisht p\u00ebrbuzjen. Jeta e tij ishte nj\u00eb luft\u00eb e vazhdueshme posht\u00ebrimi n\u00eb zhurm\u00ebn e nj\u00eb qyteti t\u00eb mbushur me njer\u00ebz. Lutjet e tij ishin si lule t\u00eb heshtura q\u00eb rriteshin mes kalldr\u00ebmeve t\u00eb forta. Nj\u00eb dit\u00eb, nd\u00ebrsa shenjtori po k\u00ebrkonte l\u00ebmosh\u00eb p\u00ebr manastirin e tij, nj\u00eb kujdestar i nj\u00eb kishe t\u00eb quajtur Anastasios e humbi durimin. Ai u zem\u00ebrua me lutjet e vazhdueshme t\u00eb plakut dhe e goditi fort n\u00eb faqe. T\u00eb pranishmit atje u shqet\u00ebsuan dhe filluan t\u00eb akuzojn\u00eb Anastasin p\u00ebr sjelljen e tij mizore. Megjithat\u00eb, i bekuari Thomai u kthye n\u00eb heshtje nga turma dhe me nj\u00eb z\u00eb profetik u tha atyre fjal\u00eb q\u00eb i ngrin\u00eb. Ai u tregoi atyre se q\u00eb nga ai moment nuk do t\u00eb mund t\u00eb merrte m\u00eb asgj\u00eb nga Anastasios. As Anastasi nuk do t\u00eb mund t&#x27;i ofronte m\u00eb asgj\u00eb n\u00eb jet\u00ebn e tij. Disa dit\u00eb m\u00eb von\u00eb ata varros\u00ebn nj\u00eb grua t\u00eb dyt\u00eb pran\u00eb varrit t\u00eb Abba Thomait, pa e kuptuar as r\u00ebnd\u00ebsin\u00eb e ngjarjes s\u00eb par\u00eb. Me urdh\u00ebr t\u00eb tij, t\u00eb gjith\u00eb qytetar\u00ebt, duke mbajtur qirinj t\u00eb ndezur dhe duke k\u00ebnduar himne t\u00eb shenjta, nis\u00ebn nj\u00eb kortezh t\u00eb madh drejt lagjes periferike t\u00eb Dafin\u00ebs. Ata mor\u00ebn me nderim lipsanin e shenjt\u00eb t\u00eb Sh\u00ebn Thomait dhe e \u00e7uan triumfalisht n\u00eb qytetin e Antiokis\u00eb.
