Fjeti mbi nj\u00eb gur, p\u00ebr t\u00eb mos u dor\u00ebzuar n\u00eb gjum\u00eb dhe p\u00ebr t\u00eb mbajtur zgjuar trupin dhe shpirtin. Ai vinte nga Kostandinopoja dhe kishte prind\u00ebr t\u00eb pasur dhe t\u00eb devotsh\u00ebm, t\u00eb cil\u00ebt i ofronin nj\u00eb jet\u00eb plot rehati. Megjithat\u00eb, q\u00eb n\u00eb f\u00ebmij\u00ebri, ai ndjeu brenda vetes t\u00ebrheqjen e jet\u00ebs s\u00eb vetmuar dhe p\u00ebrkushtimin absolut ndaj Krishtit. Praktika e tij ishte e ashp\u00ebr dhe e pand\u00ebrprer\u00eb, sikur t\u00eb ishte gjithmon\u00eb p\u00ebrpara fytyr\u00ebs s\u00eb Zotit. Ai agj\u00ebroi me shum\u00eb p\u00ebrmbajtje dhe arriti ta dob\u00ebsonte trupin e tij aq shum\u00eb sa fytyra i ngjante asaj t\u00eb nj\u00eb t\u00eb vdekuri. Ai q\u00ebndronte net\u00eb t\u00eb t\u00ebra drejt n\u00eb lutje, pa iu n\u00ebnshtruar lodhjes dhe nevojave t\u00eb natyr\u00ebs. Ai kurr\u00eb nuk e mbuloi kok\u00ebn, edhe kur i ftohti dhe ngrica e dimrit goditi. Ai ia kushtoi energjit\u00eb e tij sh\u00ebrbimit t\u00eb t\u00eb varf\u00ebrve, jetim\u00ebve, t\u00eb vejave dhe kryefamiljar\u00ebve t\u00eb s\u00ebmur\u00eb. Ai gjithashtu i inkurajoi t\u00eb pasurit q\u00eb t\u00eb ndajn\u00eb \u00e7do t\u00eb mir\u00eb q\u00eb kishin me v\u00ebllez\u00ebrit e tyre n\u00eb nevoj\u00eb. Ata q\u00eb i ishin besuar, ai i hoqi me ndershm\u00ebri t\u00eb madhe dhe u shtri n\u00eb \u00e7do moment m\u00eb t\u00eb varf\u00ebrve dhe m\u00eb t\u00eb munduarve. P\u00ebr mundin dhe durimin e madh Zoti i dha atij hir t\u00eb ve\u00e7ant\u00eb dhe forc\u00eb shpirt\u00ebrore. Sh\u00ebn Theodori fitoi fuqi mbi shpirtrat e k\u00ebqij dhe sh\u00ebroi t\u00eb s\u00ebmur\u00ebt me lutjet e tij. Shum\u00eb mrekulli e shoq\u00ebruan jet\u00ebn e tij dhe treguan se Zoti lavd\u00ebron ata q\u00eb p\u00ebrulen p\u00ebr dashurin\u00eb e tij. Por ai vazhdoi deri n\u00eb fund t\u00eb p\u00ebrfitoj\u00eb t\u00eb varf\u00ebrit dhe t\u00eb ndaj\u00eb \u00e7do t\u00eb mir\u00eb me ata n\u00eb nevoj\u00eb. Dashuria e tij nuk pushoi as p\u00ebr nj\u00eb dit\u00eb t\u00eb vetme, madje as kur forca e trupit ishte zbehur. Ai jetoi n\u00eb fund t\u00eb shekullit t\u00eb kat\u00ebrt para Krishtit dhe ndoshta n\u00eb fillim t\u00eb shekullit t\u00eb pest\u00eb, sipas tradit\u00ebs s\u00eb kish\u00ebs. Kur erdhi koha e tij, ai ia dor\u00ebzoi n\u00eb paqe shpirtin Zotit, t\u00eb cilin e donte aq shum\u00eb.
