Por p\u00ebrgjigjet e tij ishin aq ndri\u00e7uese sa Ayan nuk mundi ta mb\u00ebshteste bindjen e tij dhe ta lironte. Osh\u00ebnar Simeoni ishte i biri i priftit dhe q\u00eb n\u00eb mosh\u00eb t\u00eb vog\u00ebl i digjej nga epshi p\u00ebr jet\u00ebn e vetmuar. Duke dashur nj\u00eb luft\u00eb m\u00eb rigoroze t\u00eb vetmuar, Simeoni i ri shpejt u nis p\u00ebr n\u00eb nj\u00eb manastir af\u00ebr Olimpit. M\u00eb pas u nis drejt malit Athos dhe p\u00ebrfundoi n\u00eb Lavr\u00ebn e Sh\u00ebn Athanasit, ku iu dor\u00ebzua nj\u00eb ushtrimi m\u00eb t\u00eb v\u00ebshtir\u00eb. Me p\u00ebrul\u00ebsin\u00eb dhe bindjen e tij ai shpejt fitoi respektin e v\u00ebllaz\u00ebris\u00eb. N\u00eb nj\u00eb koh\u00eb t\u00eb shkurt\u00ebr e shuguruan hieromonk, duke dalluar tek ai hirin dhe pjekurin\u00eb shpirt\u00ebrore. K\u00ebshtu filloi nj\u00eb rrug\u00eb e shenjt\u00ebris\u00eb q\u00eb do ta \u00e7onte at\u00eb nga manastiret e Athosit n\u00eb malet e Pelionit. Nga Lavra, Osh\u00ebnar Simeon u shp\u00ebrngul n\u00eb Manastirin Filotheou, ku intensifikoi pun\u00ebn e tij t\u00eb devotshme dhe u b\u00eb model p\u00ebr t\u00eb gjith\u00eb v\u00ebllaz\u00ebrin\u00eb. Virtyti dhe dallueshm\u00ebria e tij e b\u00ebn\u00eb abat t\u00eb manastirit me vendim unanim t\u00eb et\u00ebrve. Por armikut t\u00eb rac\u00ebs njer\u00ebzore nuk vonoi shum\u00eb p\u00ebr t\u00eb mbjell\u00eb bar\u00ebrat e k\u00ebqija mes murgjve. Disa v\u00ebllez\u00ebr filluan t\u00eb ankoheshin se abati i tyre ishte shum\u00eb i rrept\u00eb n\u00eb k\u00ebrkesat frymore. Oshenar Simeoni nuk deshi t\u00eb mbrohej dhe gjykimin e gj\u00ebrave ia la Zotit. Ai u largua nga manastiri dhe u drejtua p\u00ebr n\u00eb malin Flamurion n\u00eb Pelion, duke k\u00ebrkuar paqen e v\u00ebrtet\u00eb. Aty, n\u00eb heshtje e vetmi, pa \u00e7ati e pa zjarr, nisi luftime t\u00eb reja shpirt\u00ebrore. Ai vishte rroba t\u00eb vjetra, nuk hante pothuajse asgj\u00eb dhe falej pa pushim, her\u00eb n\u00eb k\u00ebmb\u00eb e her\u00eb n\u00eb gjunj\u00eb. K\u00ebshtu ai kaloi plot tre vjet, t\u00eb panjohur p\u00ebr njer\u00ebzit dhe t\u00eb njohur vet\u00ebm p\u00ebr Zotin. M\u00eb von\u00eb ai u zbulua nga disa njer\u00ebz teofile q\u00eb enden n\u00eb ato vende. P\u00ebr nder t\u00eb Trinis\u00eb s\u00eb Shenjt\u00eb u nd\u00ebrtua nj\u00eb kish\u00eb, ku ai kryente \u00e7do dit\u00eb me p\u00ebrkushtim t\u00eb thell\u00eb. Kur jeta e v\u00ebllez\u00ebrve n\u00eb at\u00eb manastir t\u00eb shkret\u00eb tashm\u00eb ishte rregulluar sipas Zotit, pun\u00ebtori i men\u00e7ur mori nj\u00eb vendim t\u00eb ri. Ai la institucionin e tij dhe filloi turnet\u00eb misionare, duke predikuar fjal\u00ebn e Zotit n\u00eb Epir, Thesali dhe Athin\u00eb. Me m\u00ebsimet dhe k\u00ebshillat e tij, ai mb\u00ebshteti ata q\u00eb ishin t\u00eb l\u00ebkundur n\u00eb besim gjat\u00eb atyre koh\u00ebrave t\u00eb v\u00ebshtira. Ai i vuri ata q\u00eb kishin humbur rrug\u00ebn n\u00eb rrug\u00ebn e shp\u00ebtimit dhe i \u00e7oi me dashuri p\u00ebrs\u00ebri n\u00eb Kish\u00eb. Ata q\u00eb tashm\u00eb ishin t\u00eb vendosur n\u00eb besimin e tyre, ai i b\u00ebri edhe m\u00eb t\u00eb fort\u00eb dhe m\u00eb t\u00eb guximsh\u00ebm. N\u00eb qytetin Euripa e shpif\u00ebn me nj\u00eb akuz\u00eb t\u00eb r\u00ebnd\u00eb te sundimtari vendas Aianus. Ata pretenduan se ai kishte konvertuar nj\u00eb turk n\u00eb besimin e krishter\u00eb dhe k\u00ebrkuan d\u00ebnim shembullor. Shenjtori u arrestua menj\u00ebher\u00eb dhe u d\u00ebnua me djegie publike. Por Zoti nuk lejoi q\u00eb t\u00eb zbatohej ai vendim i padrejt\u00eb i p\u00ebrndjek\u00ebsve t\u00eb tij. I d\u00ebnuari u \u00e7ua n\u00eb pyetje me zinxhir\u00eb, k\u00ebmb\u00ebzbathur dhe i veshur vet\u00ebm me nj\u00eb kasoll\u00eb t\u00eb vjet\u00ebr t\u00eb veshur. I ndri\u00e7uar nga Fryma e Shenjt\u00eb, ai iu p\u00ebrgjigj komandantit me nj\u00eb men\u00e7uri t\u00eb till\u00eb, saq\u00eb nuk mund t\u00eb vendoste d\u00ebnimin me vdekje. Shenjtori u lirua dhe vazhdoi me zell luft\u00ebn e tij shpirt\u00ebrore n\u00eb t\u00eb gjith\u00eb rajonin. Predikimin e tij e p\u00ebrshkonte me mrekulli dhe sh\u00ebrime t\u00eb t\u00eb s\u00ebmur\u00ebve, t\u00eb cilat u jepnin forc\u00eb dhe shpres\u00eb besimtar\u00ebve. Shum\u00eb m\u00eb pas e ndoq\u00ebn dhe iu n\u00ebnshtruan udh\u00ebheqjes s\u00eb tij shpirt\u00ebrore me besim t\u00eb thell\u00eb.
