Menj\u00ebher\u00eb pas k\u00ebsaj, nj\u00eb dekret perandorak e detyroi at\u00eb t\u00eb martohej p\u00ebrs\u00ebri, k\u00ebt\u00eb her\u00eb me nj\u00eb pagan, pavar\u00ebsisht d\u00ebshir\u00ebs s\u00eb saj t\u00eb zjarrt\u00eb p\u00ebr jet\u00ebn e vetmuar. Osh\u00ebnare Athanasia lindi n\u00eb shekullin e n\u00ebnt\u00eb n\u00eb ishullin Egina nga prind\u00ebr t\u00eb devotsh\u00ebm, Nikita dhe Irini. Q\u00eb n\u00eb mosh\u00eb t\u00eb re, ajo u shqua p\u00ebr jet\u00ebn e saj t\u00eb virtytshme dhe d\u00ebshironte t&#x27;ia kushtonte gjith\u00eb ekzistenc\u00ebn e saj Zotit. Por prind\u00ebrit e detyruan t\u00eb martohej, pavar\u00ebsisht kund\u00ebrshtimit t\u00eb thell\u00eb dhe prirjes s\u00eb saj t\u00eb brendshme drejt hyjnores. Kur mbeti e ve kaq her\u00ebt, mendoi se m\u00eb n\u00eb fund kishte ardhur koha p\u00ebr t\u00eb p\u00ebrmbushur \u00ebndrr\u00ebn e saj. Por dekreti i papritur mbret\u00ebror i rr\u00ebzoi planet e saj dhe e \u00e7oi n\u00eb nj\u00eb martes\u00eb t\u00eb dyt\u00eb, t\u00eb cil\u00ebn ajo nuk e kishte zgjedhur. Ai me p\u00ebrul\u00ebsi iu n\u00ebnshtrua providenc\u00ebs hyjnore dhe vazhdoi t\u00eb jetonte n\u00eb lutje, l\u00ebmosh\u00eb dhe kujdes t\u00eb vazhduesh\u00ebm p\u00ebr t\u00eb varf\u00ebrit dhe t\u00eb s\u00ebmur\u00ebt e ishullit. Shembulli i ndritsh\u00ebm i jet\u00ebs s\u00eb saj t\u00eb virtytshme pati nj\u00eb ndikim kaq t\u00eb thell\u00eb te burri i saj i dyt\u00eb, saq\u00eb ai vendosi t\u00eb linte bot\u00ebn dhe t\u00eb b\u00ebhej murg. Gjat\u00eb Kreshm\u00ebs ai hante nj\u00eb her\u00eb n\u00eb dy dit\u00eb, dhe vet\u00ebm disa perime. Me pranin\u00eb e saj shk\u00eblqyese, ajo t\u00ebrhoqi nj\u00eb mori grash nga Egina, t\u00eb cilat k\u00ebrkonin drejtimin e saj shpirt\u00ebror. Gjat\u00eb gjith\u00eb k\u00ebsaj kohe ajo mbajti nostalgji t\u00eb thell\u00eb p\u00ebr vendin e shkret\u00eb t\u00eb Egjin\u00ebs, ku kishte l\u00ebn\u00eb zemr\u00ebn e saj. Ai u kujdes edhe p\u00ebr t\u00eb caktuar nj\u00eb pasardh\u00ebs q\u00eb t\u00eb mos prishej lidhja e dashuris\u00eb v\u00ebllaz\u00ebrore mes murgjve. Dit\u00ebn q\u00eb Zoti kishte shpallur, ajo i thirri t\u00eb gjitha murgeshat pran\u00eb saj dhe iu drejtua atyre me fjal\u00eb ngush\u00ebllimi dhe men\u00e7urie. Ai u k\u00ebrkoi atyre q\u00eb t\u00eb ruajn\u00eb gjithmon\u00eb nj\u00eb shpirt dhe nj\u00eb zem\u00ebr, duke jetuar n\u00eb unitet dhe dashuri t\u00eb nd\u00ebrsjell\u00eb mes tyre. Ajo tashm\u00eb kishte rr\u00ebfyer dhe marr\u00eb kungimin e Mistereve t\u00eb Pap\u00ebrlyera nj\u00eb dit\u00eb m\u00eb par\u00eb, e p\u00ebrgatitur n\u00eb \u00e7do m\u00ebnyr\u00eb p\u00ebr daljen e saj. Pastaj ajo k\u00ebndoi Psalterin s\u00eb bashku me motrat dhe paq\u00ebsisht ia dor\u00ebzoi shpirtin e saj n\u00eb duart e Zotit. Ai madje u tha atyre se do t&#x27;i priste atje lart, n\u00eb Mbret\u00ebrin\u00eb e Qiellit, me shum\u00eb dashuri. Lajmi p\u00ebr vdekjen e saj mblodhi nj\u00eb num\u00ebr t\u00eb madh banor\u00ebsh t\u00eb ishullit, t\u00eb cil\u00ebt nxituan p\u00ebr t\u00eb adhuruar reliktin e shenjt\u00eb. Shum\u00eb t\u00eb s\u00ebmur\u00eb u sh\u00ebruan n\u00eb t\u00eb nj\u00ebjt\u00ebn koh\u00eb t\u00eb varrimit t\u00eb saj, nd\u00ebrsa t\u00eb verb\u00ebrve iu kthye drita e syve me lutje. Dymb\u00ebdhjet\u00eb dit\u00eb pasi e zuri gjumi, dy murgesha pretenduan se pan\u00eb Osh\u00ebnaren t\u00eb veshur me rroba mbret\u00ebrore. Ai q\u00ebndroi me shk\u00eblqim dhe lavdi t\u00eb madhe p\u00ebrpara der\u00ebs s\u00eb tempullit, duke bekuar motrat.
