I riu Leo, i cili m\u00eb von\u00eb u b\u00eb perandori i madh i Bizantit, iu bind z\u00ebrit t\u00eb Virgj\u00ebresh\u00ebs dhe i dha t\u00eb verbrit drit\u00ebn e tij. Uji i burimit vazhdoi t\u00eb shp\u00ebrthente dhe t\u00eb jepte kura t\u00eb panum\u00ebrta mrekullib\u00ebr\u00ebse p\u00ebr besimtar\u00ebt q\u00eb erdh\u00ebn. P\u00ebr k\u00ebt\u00eb arsye vendi u quajt Zoodochos Pigi dhe Hyjlind\u00ebse u nderua me pseudonimin e saj me t\u00eb nj\u00ebjtin em\u00ebr. Shum\u00eb t\u00eb s\u00ebmur\u00eb, t\u00eb paralizuar dhe t\u00eb d\u00ebshp\u00ebruar erdh\u00ebn n\u00eb k\u00ebt\u00eb vend t\u00eb shenjt\u00eb dhe mor\u00ebn sh\u00ebrime t\u00eb mrekullueshme. Fama e tij u p\u00ebrhap n\u00eb t\u00eb gjith\u00eb perandorin\u00eb dhe u b\u00eb simbol i mbrojtjes s\u00eb n\u00ebn\u00ebs s\u00eb Hyjlind\u00ebs. Gjat\u00eb shekujve, tempulli p\u00ebrjetoi lavdi dhe shk\u00eblqim, nd\u00ebrsa patriark\u00ebt, perandor\u00ebt dhe t\u00eb krishter\u00ebt e zakonsh\u00ebm u ngjit\u00ebn atje p\u00ebr t\u00eb ngush\u00eblluar. Zoodochos Pigi shpejt u b\u00eb nj\u00eb nga pelegrinazhet m\u00eb t\u00eb dashura t\u00eb Marian\u00ebve n\u00eb Lindje dhe e mbajti hirin e tij deri n\u00eb r\u00ebnien e Perandoresh\u00ebs. Me pushtimin e Kostandinopoj\u00ebs nga osman\u00ebt, tempulli i famsh\u00ebm u shkat\u00ebrrua dhe gur\u00ebt e tij u p\u00ebrdor\u00ebn p\u00ebr t\u00eb nd\u00ebrtuar nj\u00eb xhami myslimane. Nga gjith\u00eb ajo nd\u00ebrtes\u00eb e lavdishme mbeti vet\u00ebm nj\u00eb kish\u00ebz e vog\u00ebl, e cila q\u00ebndronte si nj\u00eb martir i heshtur p\u00ebr lavdin\u00eb e dikurshme. Nj\u00ebzet e pes\u00eb hapa e \u00e7uan pelegrinin posht\u00eb n\u00eb brend\u00ebsi t\u00eb k\u00ebsaj strehe t\u00eb p\u00ebrulur t\u00eb besimit. Nj\u00eb hapje e vog\u00ebl n\u00eb \u00e7ati lejonte q\u00eb drita t\u00eb hynte dhe t\u00eb ndri\u00e7onte hap\u00ebsir\u00ebn e shenjt\u00eb. Burimi i mrekulluesh\u00ebm ishte ende aty, i rrethuar me nj\u00eb kangjella t\u00eb thjesht\u00eb dhe i arritsh\u00ebm p\u00ebr besimtar\u00ebt. Me shp\u00ebrthimin e revolucionit grek kund\u00ebr turqve, edhe kjo kapel\u00eb e vog\u00ebl u shkat\u00ebrrua nga furia e pushtuesve. Burimi i shenjt\u00eb u mbulua nga mbeturinat dhe mbeti i varrosur e i harruar n\u00eb rr\u00ebnoja p\u00ebr vite me radh\u00eb. Megjithat\u00eb, t\u00eb krishter\u00ebt nuk e harruan kurr\u00eb vendin dhe m\u00eb von\u00eb arrit\u00ebn t\u00eb sigurojn\u00eb lejen p\u00ebr rind\u00ebrtim nga autoritetet osmane. Nd\u00ebrtimi filloi n\u00eb shtator dhe p\u00ebrfundoi me mbrojtjen e Virgj\u00ebresh\u00ebs Mari n\u00eb pak m\u00eb shum\u00eb se nj\u00eb vit. Patriarku Konstandini II p\u00ebruroi zyrtarisht kish\u00ebn dhe ia kushtoi at\u00eb Zoj\u00ebs s\u00eb Bekuar. Vendi rifitoi shk\u00eblqimin e tij dhe u b\u00eb s\u00ebrish nj\u00eb qend\u00ebr e madhe pelegrinazhi p\u00ebr t\u00eb krishter\u00ebt ortodoks\u00eb. Uj\u00ebrat e burimit t\u00eb mrekulluesh\u00ebm ende rrjedhin dhe u japin sh\u00ebrime t\u00eb mrekullueshme atyre q\u00eb vijn\u00eb me besim. Kisha Orthodhokse e nderon Hyjlind\u00ebsen si Burim Jet\u00ebdh\u00ebn\u00ebs t\u00eb Premten e Kreshm\u00ebs, menj\u00ebher\u00eb pas Ngjalljes s\u00eb lavdishme t\u00eb Zotit.
