Sinodi e rr\u00ebzoi Anthimin nga froni patriarkal dhe rivendosi rendin normal n\u00eb Kish\u00eb. N\u00eb vend t\u00eb tij shenjtori em\u00ebroi nj\u00eb plak t\u00eb quajtur Minas, i cili u dallua p\u00ebr jet\u00ebn e tij t\u00eb shenjt\u00eb. Minasi ishte nj\u00eb njeri me praktik\u00eb t\u00eb rrept\u00eb, devotshm\u00ebri t\u00eb thell\u00eb dhe besim t\u00eb pal\u00ebkundur ortodoks. K\u00ebshtu froni i Kostandinopoj\u00ebs fitoi nj\u00eb bari t\u00eb denj\u00eb p\u00ebr tradit\u00ebn e Et\u00ebrve t\u00eb shenjt\u00eb. K\u00ebto zgjedhje soll\u00ebn paqe dhe leht\u00ebsim n\u00eb kish\u00ebn e sprovuar t\u00eb qytetit. I Dashuri punoi vazhdimisht p\u00ebr unitetin e besimit midis Lindjes dhe Per\u00ebndimit. I nj\u00ebjti sinod d\u00ebnoi edhe herezin\u00eb e Severus, e cila kishte trazuar jet\u00ebn e Kish\u00ebs p\u00ebr vite me radh\u00eb. Severus m\u00ebsoi se Trupi i Zotit Jisu Krisht ishte i prishsh\u00ebm si \u00e7do trup njer\u00ebzor. Sh\u00ebn Agapitos mbrojti me zell dhe sakt\u00ebsi teologjike m\u00ebsimet e v\u00ebrteta orthodhokse p\u00ebr personin e Shp\u00ebtimtarit. Me fjalimet dhe q\u00ebndrimin e tij ai p\u00ebrkrahu besimtar\u00ebt q\u00eb luftonin kund\u00ebr m\u00ebsimeve heretike t\u00eb koh\u00ebs. Menj\u00ebher\u00eb pas p\u00ebrfundimit t\u00eb punimeve t\u00eb sinodit, sh\u00ebndeti i shenjtorit filloi t\u00eb dob\u00ebsohej me shpejt\u00ebsi. N\u00eb vitin e pes\u00ebqind e tridhjet\u00eb e gjasht\u00eb, vet\u00ebm nj\u00eb vit pas kuror\u00ebzimit t\u00eb tij n\u00eb Rom\u00eb, ai ia dor\u00ebzoi shpirtin Zotit. Vdekja e tij zhyti n\u00eb zi si perandorin ashtu edhe gjith\u00eb klerin e Kostandinopoj\u00ebs. Relikti i tij i shenjt\u00eb u varros me nderime n\u00eb tempullin e famsh\u00ebm t\u00eb Apostujve t\u00eb Shenjtorit t\u00eb mbret\u00ebrimit. Kisha e nderon Sh\u00ebn Agapitin n\u00eb 17 Prill si rr\u00ebfimtar dhe hierark mrekullib\u00ebr\u00ebs.
