Ata kap\u00ebn prelatin e vjet\u00ebr, i cili tashm\u00eb vuante nga presioni i lart\u00eb i gjakut dhe rraskapitja e r\u00ebnd\u00eb. Gjat\u00eb gjith\u00eb udh\u00ebtimit, shenjtori u privua nga \u00e7do rehati njer\u00ebzore dhe nuk mundi as t\u00eb lahej. N\u00eb stacionet e portit, ushtar\u00ebt nuk e linin t\u00eb zbriste dhe e shanin p\u00ebr fyerje. Ata mor\u00ebn edhe ushqimet q\u00eb i kishin sjell\u00eb prift\u00ebrinjt\u00eb dhe besimtar\u00ebt e qyteteve bregdetare. Kur arrit\u00ebn n\u00eb Kostandinopoj\u00eb m\u00eb shtat\u00ebmb\u00ebdhjet\u00eb shtator, e lan\u00eb turm\u00ebn ta tallte dhe ta posht\u00ebronte n\u00eb publik. Pastaj e mbyll\u00ebn n\u00eb burgun e Prandiares, ku e mbajt\u00ebn fshehurazi p\u00ebr n\u00ebnt\u00ebdhjet\u00eb e tre dit\u00eb t\u00eb t\u00ebra. M\u00eb 20 dhjetor e \u00e7uan n\u00eb nj\u00eb gjyq sillet n\u00eb Hipodromin e qytetit. Ata nuk e lejuan as t\u00eb shprehte lirisht besimin e tij dhe e d\u00ebnuan me vdekje. M\u00eb pas e d\u00ebrguan n\u00eb burgun e Diomedit, ku e torturuan brutalisht dhe i k\u00ebput\u00ebn k\u00ebmb\u00ebt. T\u00eb nes\u00ebrmen, Patriarku i Kostandinopoj\u00ebs, Pali i Dyt\u00eb, u s\u00ebmur r\u00ebnd\u00eb dhe u drodh nga m\u00ebshira e Zotit. Prandaj ai mori nga perandori shnd\u00ebrrimin e d\u00ebnimit me vdekje n\u00eb nj\u00eb d\u00ebnim m\u00ebrgimi p\u00ebr shenjtorin. Pas vdekjes s\u00eb Palit dhe ngjitjes s\u00eb Pirros n\u00eb fronin patriarkal, Martinos q\u00ebndroi n\u00eb burg edhe p\u00ebr tet\u00ebdhjet\u00eb e pes\u00eb dit\u00eb t\u00eb tjera. M\u00eb pas ai u transportua fshehurazi n\u00eb gadishullin e larg\u00ebt t\u00eb Krimes\u00eb, larg nga \u00e7do mik. Pas shum\u00eb v\u00ebshtir\u00ebsish dhe v\u00ebshtir\u00ebsish edhe ata e p\u00ebrfunduan rrug\u00ebn pran\u00eb m\u00ebsuesit dhe babait t\u00eb tyre. K\u00ebshtu Kisha fitoi tre rr\u00ebfimtar\u00eb t\u00eb v\u00ebrtet\u00eb t\u00eb Ortodoksis\u00eb n\u00eb ato koh\u00eb t\u00eb trazuara.
