P\u00ebr nj\u00eb koh\u00eb t\u00eb gjat\u00eb Sh\u00ebn u p\u00ebrpoq me fjal\u00ebt e tij t\u00eb fitonte shpirtin e banor\u00ebve, por k\u00ebshilla e tij nuk gjeti p\u00ebrgjigje. N\u00eb vend t\u00eb k\u00ebsaj, ata i mbush\u00ebn njer\u00ebzit me urrejtje dhe p\u00ebrbuzje p\u00ebr personin e tij dhe predikimin e s\u00eb v\u00ebrtet\u00ebs. Pagan\u00ebt m\u00eb fanatik\u00eb krijuan nj\u00eb komplot dhe u zotuan ose ta vrisnin ose ta d\u00ebbonin nga territori i tyre. M\u00eb von\u00eb, ikona u b\u00eb e famshme p\u00ebr shum\u00eb mrekulli t\u00eb tjera, t\u00eb cilat u gdhend\u00ebn n\u00eb kujtes\u00ebn e popullit ortodoks rus. M\u00eb e r\u00ebnd\u00ebsishmja prej tyre ndodhi n\u00eb fund t\u00eb shekullit t\u00eb dymb\u00ebdhjet\u00eb, kur kryeprifti i qytetit ishte Sh\u00ebn Vasiliios. Banor\u00ebt pa t\u00eb drejt\u00eb dyshuan se ai jetonte n\u00eb nj\u00eb m\u00ebnyr\u00eb t\u00eb pahijshme p\u00ebr detyr\u00ebn e tij t\u00eb lart\u00eb prift\u00ebrore dhe vendos\u00ebn ta d\u00ebnonin me vdekje. Kur Sh\u00ebn m\u00ebsoi vendimin e tyre, ai k\u00ebrkoi vet\u00ebm q\u00eb t\u00eb shtyhej vdekja e tij p\u00ebr t\u00eb gdhir\u00eb t\u00eb nes\u00ebrmen. Gjat\u00eb gjith\u00eb nat\u00ebs ai u lut brenda tempullit t\u00eb Shenjtors Boridos dhe Glebit, duke e dor\u00ebzuar shpirtin n\u00eb m\u00ebshir\u00ebn e Zotit.
