Aty Varsanoufios vuri n\u00eb pah tradit\u00ebn hesikaste dhe u b\u00eb nj\u00eb udh\u00ebrr\u00ebfyes i ndritsh\u00ebm p\u00ebr v\u00ebllez\u00ebrit e manastirit. Me urt\u00ebsin\u00eb e tij i ngush\u00ebllonte t\u00eb pik\u00eblluarit dhe me lutjen e tij i p\u00ebrkrahte v\u00ebllez\u00ebrit e dob\u00ebt. Ata q\u00eb kaluan pran\u00eb atij manastiri pan\u00eb n\u00eb fytyr\u00ebn e tij imazhin e nj\u00eb babai dhe m\u00ebsuesi t\u00eb v\u00ebrtet\u00eb shpirt\u00ebror. Kur Rusia aneksoi khanatin e Kazanit, lindi nevoja e madhe p\u00ebr t\u00eb kristianizuar tatar\u00ebt e atij rajoni. Varsanoufios u d\u00ebrgua atje si arkimandrit dhe themeloi nj\u00eb manastir kushtuar Shnd\u00ebrrimit t\u00eb Shp\u00ebtimtarit n\u00eb qytet.
