I nj\u00ebjti njeri, pas vitesh jete asketike n\u00eb mal, do t\u00eb vdiste nga duart e nj\u00eb t\u00eb krishteri q\u00eb iu dor\u00ebzua torturave dhe mohoi Krishtin. Vadimos vinte nga qyteti persian i Vithlapata dhe i p\u00ebrkiste nj\u00eb familjeje q\u00eb jetonte n\u00eb rehati dhe r\u00ebnd\u00ebsi shoq\u00ebrore. Por kur u ndri\u00e7ua nga m\u00ebsimet e Ungjillit, ai vendosi t\u00eb linte pasurin\u00eb dhe t\u00eb ardhmen e k\u00ebsaj bote p\u00ebr hir t\u00eb Krishtit. Ai e shp\u00ebrndau t\u00eb gjith\u00eb pasurin\u00eb e tij p\u00ebr t\u00eb pafuqishmit dhe t\u00eb uriturit e zon\u00ebs. Pastaj nd\u00ebrtoi nj\u00eb manastir jasht\u00eb qytetit ku jetoi me agj\u00ebrim, lutje dhe studim t\u00eb pand\u00ebrprer\u00eb t\u00eb vullnetit hyjnor. Ai shpesh ngjitej n\u00eb nj\u00eb mal t\u00eb shkret\u00eb p\u00ebr t&#x27;u lutur i vet\u00ebm dhe atje atij iu besua t\u00eb shihte lavdin\u00eb e Per\u00ebndis\u00eb s\u00eb Jakobit. Ai u b\u00eb prift dhe punoi me zell p\u00ebr p\u00ebrhapjen e Ungjillit midis bashkatdhetar\u00ebve t\u00eb tij persian\u00eb. Rreth tij u mblodh nj\u00eb grup i vog\u00ebl prej shtat\u00eb dishepujsh, t\u00eb cil\u00ebt ai po p\u00ebrgatitej t\u00eb b\u00ebheshin pun\u00ebtor\u00eb t\u00eb ndri\u00e7imit t\u00eb krishter\u00eb n\u00eb atdheun e tyre. Jeta e tij ishte e lir\u00eb nga \u00e7do pasion dhe koprracia nuk gjeti vend n\u00eb shpirtin e tij. Krenaria u p\u00ebrul para tij, nd\u00ebrsa but\u00ebsia dhe varf\u00ebria u b\u00ebn\u00eb shoq\u00ebrues t\u00eb v\u00ebrtet\u00eb t\u00eb tij n\u00eb jet\u00eb. Uniteti dhe paqja q\u00ebndronin n\u00eb zemr\u00ebn e tij dhe frytet e tij shpirt\u00ebrore ushqenin ata q\u00eb erdh\u00ebn tek ai me etje p\u00ebr Per\u00ebndin\u00eb. N\u00eb ato vite mbreti Sapor i Dyt\u00eb filloi nj\u00eb persekutim mizor kund\u00ebr t\u00eb krishter\u00ebve t\u00eb perandoris\u00eb s\u00eb tij. Disa e akuzuan Vadimusin se joshi shum\u00eb Persian\u00eb nga feja e tyre amtare e zjarrit dhe diellit. Ushtar\u00ebt e mbretit e arrestuan shenjtorin s\u00eb bashku me shtat\u00eb dishepujt e tij dhe i burgos\u00ebn. Atje ata kaluan kat\u00ebr muaj t\u00eb t\u00ebr\u00eb t\u00eb lidhur me zinxhir\u00eb t\u00eb r\u00ebnd\u00eb dhe t\u00eb testuar \u00e7do dit\u00eb me tortura mizore dhe t\u00eb pam\u00ebshirshme. Por Vadimos mbeti nj\u00eb mb\u00ebshtetje p\u00ebr t\u00eb gjith\u00eb t\u00eb krishter\u00ebt e burgosur t\u00eb Persis\u00eb. N\u00eb t\u00eb nj\u00ebjt\u00ebn koh\u00eb, nj\u00eb zot i quajtur Nirsan, guvernator i qytetit t\u00eb Arias, u burgos gjithashtu sepse ai ishte i krishter\u00eb dhe fillimisht refuzoi t\u00eb adhuronte diellin. Por ai nuk mundi t&#x27;i duronte torturat dhe i premtoi Saporit se do t\u00eb b\u00ebnte gjith\u00e7ka q\u00eb k\u00ebrkonte p\u00ebr t&#x27;i shp\u00ebtuar jet\u00ebn. Mbreti ishte i k\u00ebnaqur me n\u00ebnshtrimin e tij dhe i ofroi atij nj\u00eb marr\u00ebveshje t\u00eb tmerrshme tradhtie. N\u00ebse Nirsani do ta vriste Vadimos me duart e veta, ai do t\u00eb lirohej dhe do t\u00eb merrte t\u00eb gjith\u00eb pasurin\u00eb e d\u00ebshmorit. Zoti frikacak e pranoi menj\u00ebher\u00eb k\u00ebt\u00eb marr\u00ebveshje, p\u00ebr t&#x27;i shp\u00ebtuar vetes torturat e m\u00ebtejshme. K\u00ebshtu ata e soll\u00ebn para tij Vadimusin e lidhur dhe i vun\u00eb n\u00eb duar nj\u00eb shpat\u00eb t\u00eb zhveshur. Por Nirsani, duke par\u00eb plakun e shenjt\u00eb, u pushtua nga frika dhe mbeti i qet\u00eb si nj\u00eb gur. D\u00ebshmori e shikoi me dhembshuri dhe i tha me z\u00eb t\u00eb trishtuar. Lig\u00ebsia jote arrin deri aty, Nirsan, sa jo vet\u00ebm e mohon Zotin, por edhe vret sh\u00ebrb\u00ebtor\u00ebt e tij. Pagan\u00ebt q\u00eb shikonin admiruan durimin e mbinatyrsh\u00ebm t\u00eb martirit dhe p\u00ebr\u00e7muan xhelatin e tij frikacak. Relikti i shenjt\u00eb u hodh jasht\u00eb qytetit, por t\u00eb krishter\u00ebt e devotsh\u00ebm e mor\u00ebn fshehurazi dhe e varros\u00ebn me nder.
