Pran\u00eb tij q\u00ebndronte n\u00ebna e tij Teokleja, e cila vet\u00eb u kishte paguar xhelat\u00ebve pes\u00eb monedha argjendi, q\u00eb djali i saj t\u00eb mos kryq\u00ebzohej n\u00eb k\u00ebmb\u00eb, si Zoti. Ky i ri ishte martiri Kalliopius, bir i nj\u00eb familjeje t\u00eb pasur senatoriale t\u00eb Perg\u00ebs n\u00eb Pamfili, pa baba pothuajse q\u00eb nga lindja. N\u00ebna e tij e kishte k\u00ebrkuar Zotin prej vitesh dhe e kishte urdh\u00ebruar. Kur e lindi, e quajti Kalliopius dhe e edukoi me Shkrimet e Shenjta, me lutje dhe agj\u00ebrim. Ai jetoi n\u00eb vitet e persekutorit mizor Dioklecianit, kur pelegrinazhi te idhujt mbizot\u00ebronte kudo dhe t\u00eb krishter\u00ebt persekutoheshin me t\u00ebrbim. Sapo Teokleja u informua se djali i saj rrezikohej t\u00eb denoncohej si i krishter\u00eb, ajo iku me anije me skllev\u00ebr, para dhe rroba, duke e d\u00ebrguar n\u00eb Pompeiopolis t\u00eb Kilikis\u00eb, p\u00ebr t&#x27;i shp\u00ebtuar d\u00ebnimit t\u00eb padrejt\u00eb. Me t\u00eb mb\u00ebrritur n\u00eb Pompei, i riu Callipius gjeti qytetin duke festuar me sakrifica, valle dhe k\u00ebng\u00eb p\u00ebr nder t\u00eb idhujve. Kur u ftua p\u00ebr t\u00eb marr\u00eb pjes\u00eb n\u00eb festival, ai refuzoi tro\u00e7 dhe menj\u00ebher\u00eb tregoi besimin e tij. Ai tha se \u00ebsht\u00eb i krishter\u00eb dhe se festat e Krishtit i feston me agj\u00ebrim dhe lutje. M\u00eb tej ai shtoi se goja q\u00eb lavd\u00ebron Zotin nuk mund t\u00eb prek\u00eb flijimet e ndotura. Fjal\u00ebt e tij arrit\u00ebn shpejt te prefekti Maksim, i cili urdh\u00ebroi ta sillnin para tij p\u00ebr t&#x27;u marr\u00eb n\u00eb pyetje. Kur e pyet\u00ebn p\u00ebr origjin\u00ebn dhe emrin e tij, i riu u p\u00ebrgjigj me besim se quhet Kalliopios dhe se i p\u00ebrket nj\u00eb familje senatoriale t\u00eb Pergit. Por ai shtoi se nderin m\u00eb t\u00eb madh e merr nga t\u00eb qenit i krishter\u00eb. Prefekti s\u00eb pari testoi fuqin\u00eb e lajkave dhe i premtoi vajz\u00ebn e tij t\u00eb vetme si grua n\u00ebse pranonte t&#x27;u flijonte per\u00ebndive. D\u00ebshmori i ri refuzoi me vendosm\u00ebri dhe rr\u00ebfeu se tashm\u00eb ia kishte kushtuar trupin dhe virgj\u00ebrin\u00eb e tij Krishtit. I t\u00ebrbuar, Maksimi urdh\u00ebroi t\u00eb fillonin torturat e tmerrshme kund\u00ebr rr\u00ebfimtarit t\u00eb ri. Fillimisht e godit\u00ebn me shufra hekuri n\u00eb shpin\u00eb dhe m\u00eb pas me gjymtyr\u00eb kau n\u00eb bark, duke i thyer kockat. Pastaj e lidh\u00ebn n\u00eb nj\u00eb rrot\u00eb hekuri me dh\u00ebmb\u00eb t\u00eb mpreht\u00eb dhe ndez\u00ebn nj\u00eb zjarr t\u00eb madh posht\u00eb p\u00ebr ta pjekur ngadal\u00eb. Nd\u00ebrsa mishi i tij u cop\u00ebtua, martiri i thirri Krishtit q\u00eb t&#x27;i vinte n\u00eb ndihm\u00eb sh\u00ebrb\u00ebtorit t\u00eb tij. M\u00eb pas u shfaq nj\u00eb engj\u00ebll i Zotit, i cili fiku flak\u00ebn dhe ndaloi timonin, duke i b\u00ebr\u00eb t\u00eb padobishme t\u00eb gjitha p\u00ebrpjekjet e xhelat\u00ebve. Turma v\u00ebzhguese u trondit dhe b\u00ebrtiti kund\u00ebr padrejt\u00ebsis\u00eb s\u00eb gjyqtarit. Prefekti, n\u00eb pamund\u00ebsi p\u00ebr t\u00eb p\u00ebrkulur trim\u00ebrin\u00eb e tij, urdh\u00ebroi ta lidhnin me zinxhir\u00eb t\u00eb r\u00ebnd\u00eb dhe ta hidhnin n\u00eb burgun m\u00eb t\u00eb err\u00ebt. Ai madje e ndaloi \u00e7do t\u00eb krishter\u00eb q\u00eb t&#x27;i afrohej atij, q\u00eb dikush t\u00eb mos e l\u00ebvdonte durimin e tij. K\u00ebshtu atleti trim i Krishtit u \u00e7ua i gjakosur n\u00eb zorr\u00ebt e burgut, duke pritur me lutje n\u00eb buz\u00eb vazhdimin e martirizimit. Kur Teokleja e devotshme u informua p\u00ebr at\u00eb q\u00eb ndodhi me djalin e saj t\u00eb vet\u00ebm, ajo mori nj\u00eb vendim trondit\u00ebs. Ajo b\u00ebri nj\u00eb testament p\u00ebr t\u00eb gjith\u00eb pasurin\u00eb e saj, liroi dyqind e pes\u00ebdhjet\u00eb skllev\u00ebr, u shp\u00ebrndau t\u00eb varf\u00ebrve ar, argjend dhe rroba t\u00eb \u00e7muara. Ajo ia dor\u00ebzoi Kish\u00ebs pronat, arat dhe vreshtat dhe u nis p\u00ebr n\u00eb Kiliki p\u00ebr t\u00eb gjetur djalin e saj. Me para i bindi rojet dhe zbriti n\u00eb qelin\u00eb e err\u00ebt, ku e pa t\u00eb lidhur me zinxhir\u00eb dhe t\u00eb fryr\u00eb nga plag\u00ebt. Kalliopius nuk mundi t\u00eb ngrihej nga barrat e hekurit, por e priti me g\u00ebzim dhe e quajti d\u00ebshmitare t\u00eb vuajtjeve t\u00eb tij p\u00ebr Krishtin. Ajo iu p\u00ebrgjigj me lot\u00eb mir\u00ebnjohjeje se e meritonte t&#x27;ia ofronte Zotit si nj\u00eb thesar t\u00eb \u00e7muar. Gjat\u00eb gjith\u00eb nat\u00ebs ata q\u00ebndruan krah p\u00ebr krah, duke k\u00ebnduar dhe lavd\u00ebruar Zotin. N\u00eb mesnat\u00eb nj\u00eb drit\u00eb e shk\u00eblqyer mbushi qelin\u00eb dhe u d\u00ebgjua nj\u00eb z\u00eb qiellor q\u00eb i quajti ata rr\u00ebfimtar\u00eb t\u00eb shenjt\u00eb. Kur t\u00eb nes\u00ebrmen e soll\u00ebn p\u00ebrs\u00ebri para gjykat\u00ebs, martiri b\u00ebrtiti me z\u00eb t\u00eb lart\u00eb se ai nxitoi t\u00eb vdiste p\u00ebr hir t\u00eb Krishtit. Ajo dit\u00eb ishte e enjtja e Madhe, kur Kisha kremton Dark\u00ebn e Fundit t\u00eb Shp\u00ebtimtarit. Prefekti Maksim, duke par\u00eb se asnj\u00eb k\u00ebrc\u00ebnim nuk mund ta l\u00ebkundet atletin e ri, urdh\u00ebroi q\u00eb t\u00eb kryq\u00ebzohej si Mjeshtri i tij. At\u00ebher\u00eb Teokleja iu afrua ushtar\u00ebve, u dha atyre pes\u00eb monedha ari dhe iu lut q\u00eb ta vinin n\u00eb shtyll\u00eb djalin e saj me kok\u00eb posht\u00eb, me kok\u00ebn n\u00eb tok\u00eb. Ai me p\u00ebrul\u00ebsi e konsideroi t\u00eb padenj\u00eb q\u00eb Kaliopiu t\u00eb kryq\u00ebzohej n\u00eb t\u00eb nj\u00ebjt\u00ebn m\u00ebnyr\u00eb q\u00eb u kryq\u00ebzua Zoti. D\u00ebshira e saj u plot\u00ebsua dhe martiri u var me kok\u00eb posht\u00eb n\u00eb pem\u00eb, si\u00e7 ishte dikur apostulli Pjet\u00ebr. Ai q\u00ebndroi aty gjith\u00eb nat\u00ebn me dhimbje t\u00eb tmerrshme, duke mos e mohuar kurr\u00eb besimin e tij. T\u00eb Premten e Madhe, n\u00eb or\u00ebn e tret\u00eb t\u00eb dit\u00ebs, n\u00eb t\u00eb nj\u00ebjt\u00ebn koh\u00eb kur Krishti po jepte shpirtin e tij n\u00eb Kalvar, martiri u ftoh. Kur trupi i tij u rr\u00ebzua, Teokleja vrapoi p\u00ebr ta p\u00ebrqafuar, e puthi tre her\u00eb n\u00eb shenj\u00eb lavd\u00ebrimi dhe menj\u00ebher\u00eb ia dor\u00ebzoi shpirtin.
