Pak para se t\u00eb binte n\u00eb gjum\u00eb, ai profetizoi fatkeq\u00ebsi t\u00eb tmerrshme, nj\u00eb t\u00ebrmet, nj\u00eb stuhi bresh\u00ebri dhe pushtimin e Trak\u00ebs nga Attila. Sh\u00ebn Hypati lindi n\u00eb Frigji t\u00eb Azis\u00eb s\u00eb Vog\u00ebl, n\u00eb nj\u00eb familje t\u00eb nj\u00eb juristi t\u00eb shkolluar dhe vet\u00eb mori nj\u00eb arsim t\u00eb mir\u00eb. Pastaj, s\u00eb bashku me dy murgj t\u00eb tjer\u00eb, ai kaloi n\u00eb Kalqedon dhe k\u00ebrkoi nj\u00eb vend paqeje. Ai vet\u00eb b\u00ebnte rroba lesh, nj\u00ebri murg mbolli arat dhe tjetri kujdesej p\u00ebr kopshtin e manastirit. Pas disa vitesh shenjtori u kthye p\u00ebr nj\u00eb koh\u00eb n\u00eb manastirin e Thrakis\u00eb, ku fillimisht kishte qen\u00eb murg me shum\u00eb p\u00ebrkushtim. Por v\u00ebllez\u00ebrit e manastirit Rufinian mb\u00ebrrit\u00ebn atje dhe e lut\u00ebn me zell q\u00eb t\u00eb b\u00ebhej igumeni i tyre. Shenjtori pranoi me p\u00ebrul\u00ebsi barr\u00ebn e p\u00ebrgjegj\u00ebsis\u00eb baritore dhe u kthye n\u00eb Kalqedon. N\u00eb mosh\u00ebn dyzet vje\u00e7are mori zyrtarisht ministrin\u00eb e abatit dhe e mbajti p\u00ebr dyzet vjet t\u00eb tjera. Q\u00eb at\u00ebher\u00eb, filloi nj\u00eb kurs edhe m\u00eb intensiv i p\u00ebrpjekjeve shpirt\u00ebrore dhe lutjes s\u00eb pand\u00ebrprer\u00eb. Ai gjithashtu largoi s\u00ebmundjet nga njer\u00ebzit dhe nga kafsh\u00ebt e fshatrave t\u00eb af\u00ebrta. Ushqimi i shenjtorit ishte jasht\u00ebzakonisht i thjesht\u00eb dhe i p\u00ebrshtatej m\u00ebnyr\u00ebs strikte t\u00eb jet\u00ebs s\u00eb tij asketike.
