Q\u00eb nga ajo nat\u00eb n\u00eb vitin e gjasht\u00ebqind e nj\u00ebzet e pest\u00eb, Mbret\u00ebria u ngrit gjith\u00eb nat\u00ebn duke k\u00ebnduar Himnin e Paluajtsh\u00ebm Gjeneralit t\u00eb Madh. T\u00eb shtun\u00ebn e pest\u00eb t\u00eb Sh\u00ebnsit dhe t\u00eb Kreshm\u00ebs s\u00eb Madhe Kisha nderon mbledhjen e ikon\u00ebs s\u00eb Hyjlind\u00ebs, t\u00eb quajtur Himni ose Lavd\u00ebrimi i Virgj\u00ebresh\u00ebs. Historia e fest\u00ebs lidhet drejtp\u00ebrdrejt me rrethimin e madh t\u00eb Kostandinopoj\u00ebs, kur Herakliu ishte perandor dhe luftoi larg pers\u00ebt. N\u00eb at\u00eb koh\u00eb Hagani i Avar\u00ebve d\u00ebrgoi forca t\u00eb panum\u00ebrta dhe k\u00ebrc\u00ebnoi kryeqytetin nga toka dhe deti. Patriarku Sergji mblodhi njer\u00ebzit brenda tempujve dhe i mb\u00ebshteti q\u00eb t\u00eb mos humbnin guximin dhe besimin n\u00eb ndihm\u00ebn e Zotit. Ai organizoi nj\u00eb litani rreth mureve me Kryqin e Shenjt\u00eb t\u00eb Zotit, me petkun e shenjt\u00eb t\u00eb Virgj\u00ebresh\u00ebs, me ikon\u00ebn e punuar me dor\u00eb t\u00eb Shp\u00ebtimtarit dhe me Udh\u00ebrr\u00ebfyesin. Populli e ndoqi me lot, duke i lutur padron\u00ebs s\u00eb qytetit. Kur Patriarku zhyti rrob\u00ebn e shenjt\u00eb n\u00eb val\u00eb, papritur u ngrit nj\u00eb stuhi e madhe dhe shp\u00ebrndau flot\u00ebn bastis\u00ebse. Mbrojt\u00ebsit e qytetit rezistuan me forc\u00eb dhe i shtyn\u00eb forcat detare t\u00eb Haganit n\u00eb err\u00ebsir\u00ebn e stuhis\u00eb. Anijet u p\u00ebrplas\u00ebn me shk\u00ebmbinj dhe shum\u00eb u fundos\u00ebn me ekuipazhet e tyre n\u00eb uj\u00ebrat e shkum\u00ebzuara. Barbar\u00ebt u t\u00ebrhoq\u00ebn me turp dhe njer\u00ebzit mbush\u00ebn tempujt p\u00ebr t\u00eb fal\u00ebnderuar Zotin dhe N\u00ebn\u00ebn e Tij M\u00eb t\u00eb Shenjt\u00eb. P\u00ebr t\u00eb mbajtur gjall\u00eb kujtimin e k\u00ebtyre fitoreve t\u00eb m\u00ebdha, gjat\u00eb periudh\u00ebs s\u00eb Kreshm\u00ebs u krijua nj\u00eb fest\u00eb kushtuar Lavd\u00ebrimit t\u00eb Virgj\u00ebresh\u00ebs. Q\u00eb nga ajo koh\u00eb besohet se Himni i njohur Akathistos mori form\u00ebn e tij, i cili u b\u00eb lavd\u00ebrimi m\u00eb i dashur p\u00ebr N\u00ebn\u00ebn e Zotit. P\u00ebrdorimi i tij u p\u00ebrhap ngadal\u00eb nga Kostandinopoja n\u00eb t\u00eb gjitha vendet orthodhokse dhe u b\u00eb pron\u00eb universale e Kish\u00ebs. Besimtar\u00ebt gjet\u00ebn tek ai ngush\u00ebllim, mbrojtje dhe nj\u00eb z\u00eb lutjeje n\u00eb sprovat e \u00e7do epoke. Vet\u00eb ikona, para s\u00eb cil\u00ebs u k\u00ebndua p\u00ebr her\u00eb t\u00eb par\u00eb Himni i Akathistos, m\u00eb von\u00eb iu dhurua Manastirit t\u00eb Shenjt\u00eb t\u00eb Dionisi n\u00eb Malin Athos nga perandori Aleks Komneni. Atje, n\u00eb qet\u00ebsin\u00eb e Athosit, ikona e shenjt\u00eb filloi t\u00eb kullonte mirr\u00eb dhe t\u00eb b\u00ebhej burim mrekullish p\u00ebr pelegrin\u00ebt.
