N\u00eb vitin nj\u00eb mij\u00eb e shtat\u00ebqind e tridhjet\u00eb e shtat\u00eb u nda me dhimbje nga dishepujt e tij n\u00eb Dagestan dhe u nis p\u00ebr n\u00eb Astrakhan. Ky qytet ndodhet pran\u00eb gryk\u00ebs s\u00eb lumit Vollga, ku uj\u00ebrat e tij derdhen n\u00eb Detin Kaspik. N\u00eb Astrakhan ai nd\u00ebrtoi nj\u00eb kish\u00eb t\u00eb re kushtuar Sh\u00ebn Joani Teologut, e cila m\u00eb von\u00eb u shnd\u00ebrrua n\u00eb manastir. Igumeni i par\u00eb i manastirit t\u00eb ri ishte Arkimandriti Germanos, nj\u00eb nga dishepujt besnik\u00eb t\u00eb Atit t\u00eb Shenjt\u00eb. K\u00ebshtu puna e misionit zuri rr\u00ebnj\u00eb m\u00eb thell\u00eb n\u00eb tokat e gjera t\u00eb Rusis\u00eb jugore dhe lul\u00ebzoi. Duke jetuar n\u00eb Astrakhan, shenjtori kuptoi se shum\u00eb gjeorgjian\u00eb po kalonin vazhdimisht n\u00ebp\u00ebr qytetin Osetian t\u00eb Kizlyar. Por m\u00ebrgimtar\u00ebt e tij nuk kishin tempullin e tyre, p\u00ebr t\u00eb kryer sh\u00ebrbesat hyjnore dhe p\u00ebr t\u00eb gjetur ngush\u00ebllim n\u00eb t\u00eb huajt e tyre. Pran\u00eb tempullit ai themeloi edhe nj\u00eb shkoll\u00eb p\u00ebrgatitore p\u00ebr st\u00ebrvitjen e klerit t\u00eb ardhsh\u00ebm t\u00eb rajonit. M\u00eb nj\u00ebzet e tet\u00eb mars t\u00eb vitit nj\u00eb mij\u00eb e shtat\u00ebqind e pes\u00ebdhjet\u00eb e nj\u00eb Osh\u00ebnar Joani dha shpirtin e tij t\u00eb shenjt\u00eb n\u00eb Kizliar. Ai ishte at\u00ebher\u00eb tet\u00ebdhjet\u00eb e tre vje\u00e7 dhe u varros n\u00eb t\u00eb nj\u00ebjt\u00ebn kish\u00eb q\u00eb kishte nd\u00ebrtuar me kaq shum\u00eb p\u00ebrpjekje. M\u00eb von\u00eb, me urdh\u00ebr t\u00eb mbretit Teimuraz i Dyt\u00eb, eshtrat e tij t\u00eb balsamosur u transferuan n\u00eb Tbilisi.
