P\u00ebrpara k\u00ebsaj mrekullie, vet\u00eb Duka Amfilochius, i cili kishte torturuar t\u00eb krishter\u00ebt pak m\u00eb par\u00eb, thirri emrin e Krishtit dhe u hodh n\u00eb kazan. K\u00ebto ngjarje ndodh\u00ebn n\u00eb vitet e perandorit Hadrian, rreth vitit nj\u00ebqind e nj\u00ebzet e pest\u00eb pas lindjes s\u00eb Zotit. Filitos ishte nj\u00eb senator, nj\u00eb burr\u00eb i arsimuar dhe thell\u00ebsisht fetar dhe jetonte me gruan e tij Lidia dhe dy f\u00ebmij\u00ebt e tyre, Theoprepius dhe Makedonas.
