Nj\u00eb besimtar i thjesht\u00eb, nd\u00ebrsa e \u00e7onte ofert\u00ebn e tij n\u00eb tempull, u arrestua, rr\u00ebfeu Krishtin dhe u hodh i gjall\u00eb n\u00eb t\u00eb nj\u00ebjtin zjarr. Ky martirizim ndodhi n\u00eb tok\u00ebn e got\u00ebve, n\u00eb vitet e mbretit Jugurichus dhe t\u00eb perandor\u00ebve romak\u00eb Julian, Valentinian dhe Gratian. Historia ruan nj\u00ebzet e gjasht\u00eb emra martir\u00ebsh, mes qindra besimtar\u00ebve pa em\u00ebr q\u00eb u zhduk\u00ebn n\u00eb flak\u00ebt e zem\u00ebrimit t\u00eb sundimtarit pagan. Got\u00ebt kishin pranuar predikimin e krishterimit dhe shum\u00eb prej tyre p\u00ebrqafuan me zjarr besimin e Krishtit. Mbreti Athanaricus, duke par\u00eb n\u00ebnshtetasit e tij q\u00eb braktisnin adhurimin e vjet\u00ebr, u t\u00ebrbua shum\u00eb dhe filloi nj\u00eb persekutim t\u00eb ashp\u00ebr. Ai i urdh\u00ebroi oborrtar\u00ebt e tij t\u00eb vendosnin nj\u00eb statuj\u00eb pagane mbi nj\u00eb karroc\u00eb dhe ta p\u00ebrzinin at\u00eb p\u00ebrpara \u00e7adrave ku t\u00eb krishter\u00ebt kryenin adhurimin e tyre hyjnor. Jugurichus shkoi edhe m\u00eb tej n\u00eb brutalitetin e tij ndaj besimtar\u00ebve. Ai urdh\u00ebroi t&#x27;i vihej zjarri nj\u00eb tempulli t\u00eb t\u00ebr\u00eb pik\u00ebrisht n\u00eb koh\u00ebn kur brenda po b\u00ebhej sh\u00ebrbimi hyjnor dhe po k\u00ebndoheshin himnet p\u00ebr Zotin. Ushtar\u00ebt e tij e zbatuan urdhrin pa hezitim, duke i v\u00ebn\u00eb zjarrin godin\u00ebs s\u00eb shenjt\u00eb ku ishte mbledhur i gjith\u00eb komuniteti. Treqind e tet\u00eb njer\u00ebz, burra, gra dhe f\u00ebmij\u00eb, t\u00eb cil\u00ebt nuk pranuan t\u00eb mohonin Krishtin, vdiq\u00ebn n\u00eb furr\u00ebn e nxeht\u00eb.
