Pjetri tatar i saposhkolluar preferoi torturat e tmerrshme n\u00eb sht\u00ebpin\u00eb e tij sesa t\u00eb mohonte emrin q\u00eb mori n\u00eb Pag\u00ebzimin e shenjt\u00eb. Sh\u00ebn Pjetri jetonte n\u00eb rajonin e Kazanit, ku traditat islame t\u00eb tatar\u00ebve u ndesh\u00ebn me besimin ortodoks t\u00eb sjell\u00eb nga rus\u00ebt. Martirizimi i tij vendoset n\u00eb vitin 1552, n\u00eb koh\u00ebn e fushat\u00ebs s\u00eb Ivanit t\u00eb Tmerrsh\u00ebm. Kur ushtria ruse u largua nga Kazani, banor\u00ebt nxituan n\u00eb sht\u00ebpin\u00eb e tij dhe e t\u00ebrhoq\u00ebn zvarr\u00eb me forc\u00eb. Ata e quanin me emrin e tij t\u00eb vjet\u00ebr, duke shpresuar me lajka se do ta bindnin t\u00eb mohonte Krishtin. Por ai u p\u00ebrgjigj me vendosm\u00ebri, duke rr\u00ebfyer Atin, Birin dhe Frym\u00ebn e Shenjt\u00eb si familjen e tij t\u00eb vetme. Ai u tha atyre se kushdo q\u00eb beson n\u00eb Trinin\u00eb e Shenjt\u00eb \u00ebsht\u00eb tani i af\u00ebrmi i tij. Ai deklaroi qart\u00eb se u quajt Pjet\u00ebr n\u00eb Pag\u00ebzimin e Shenjt\u00eb dhe nuk do t\u00eb p\u00ebrgjigjej me asnj\u00eb em\u00ebr tjet\u00ebr. Duke par\u00eb q\u00eb Pjetri mbeti i pal\u00ebkundur n\u00eb besimin e tij, t\u00eb af\u00ebrmit e tij vendos\u00ebn ta dor\u00ebzonin n\u00eb tortura t\u00eb r\u00ebnda. Sh\u00ebn duroi dhimbje t\u00eb tmerrshme dhe l\u00ebndime t\u00eb p\u00ebrs\u00ebritura nga njer\u00ebzit e tij. Por as edhe nj\u00eb \u00e7ast nuk pushoi s\u00eb rr\u00ebfyeri emrin e Krishtit n\u00ebp\u00ebrmjet martirizimeve t\u00eb tij. Ai p\u00ebrs\u00ebriti me forc\u00eb se ishte i krishter\u00eb, duke mos lejuar q\u00eb frika apo dhimbja ta p\u00ebrkulnin. Eshtrat e tij t\u00eb shenjta u varros\u00ebn n\u00eb Kazan, n\u00eb vendin ku m\u00eb von\u00eb u nd\u00ebrtua Kisha e Ngjalljes s\u00eb Krishtit. Ky vend ishte pran\u00eb tregut t\u00eb drith\u00ebrave, ku kalonin \u00e7do dit\u00eb shum\u00eb njer\u00ebz. K\u00ebshtu martiri u b\u00eb nj\u00eb predikues i heshtur i besimit pik\u00ebrisht n\u00eb qytetin q\u00eb e lindi dhe e vrau. Bashk\u00eb me t\u00eb nderohet edhe Sh\u00ebn Martir Stefanos, nj\u00eb tjet\u00ebr tatar q\u00eb takoi Krishtin n\u00eb t\u00eb nj\u00ebjt\u00ebn koh\u00eb. Stefanos vuajti p\u00ebr m\u00eb shum\u00eb se nj\u00ebzet vjet nga nj\u00eb s\u00ebmundje e r\u00ebnd\u00eb n\u00eb k\u00ebmb\u00eb, e cila e kishte pushtuar plot\u00ebsisht. Pas kapjes s\u00eb Kazanit nga Ivan i Tmerrsh\u00ebm, Stefani besoi n\u00eb Krishtin dhe menj\u00ebher\u00eb gjeti sh\u00ebrimin e tij. Sh\u00ebn Stefani u pag\u00ebzua nga kryeprifti Menignos, i cili sh\u00ebrbeu n\u00eb Katedralen e Mosk\u00ebs.
