Kur u arrestua, ajo u pag\u00ebzua n\u00eb nj\u00eb p\u00ebrrua dhe u hodh vullnetarisht n\u00eb zjarr p\u00ebr Krishtin. Ai jetoi n\u00eb vitet e persekutorit mizor Trajanit, i cili rinovoi nj\u00eb ligj t\u00eb vjet\u00ebr q\u00eb ndalonte mbledhjet e fshehta dhe e ktheu at\u00eb kund\u00ebr t\u00eb krishter\u00ebve. Prej atyre viteve persekutimet vazhduan t\u00eb pand\u00ebrprera deri n\u00eb fund t\u00eb mbret\u00ebrimit t\u00eb perandorit. Trupat e martir\u00ebve shpesh liheshin pa varrosur n\u00eb rrug\u00eb, p\u00ebr t\u00eb tmerruar ata q\u00eb besonin n\u00eb Krishtin. Megjithat\u00eb, pes\u00eb virgj\u00ebreshat e krishtera, Aglaida, Apollinaria, Daria, Mamousa dhe Thais, e nd\u00ebrmor\u00ebn k\u00ebt\u00eb detyr\u00eb t\u00eb shenjt\u00eb me guxim t\u00eb mahnitsh\u00ebm. Ata dilnin fshehurazi nat\u00ebn, merrnin lipsanin e ndersh\u00ebm, i lyenin me parfume dhe i mb\u00ebshtillnin me \u00e7ar\u00e7af\u00eb t\u00eb past\u00ebr. Pastaj i varros\u00ebn me respekt n\u00eb vetmin\u00eb e tyre. Drosida e re, nj\u00eb e krishter\u00eb e fsheht\u00eb dhe ende e papag\u00ebzuar, shikonte me admirim jet\u00ebn e murgjve dhe sh\u00ebrbes\u00ebn e tyre t\u00eb shenjt\u00eb. K\u00ebshtu ajo iu lut virgj\u00ebreshave q\u00eb ta merrnin me vete dhe t&#x27;i bashkoheshin n\u00eb k\u00ebt\u00eb mision t\u00eb rreziksh\u00ebm nate. Megjithat\u00eb, Hadriani, k\u00ebrkuesi i Drosid\u00ebs dhe k\u00ebshilltari i besuar i perandorit, zbuloi se \u00e7far\u00eb b\u00ebnin virgj\u00ebreshat gjat\u00eb nat\u00ebs. Ai e k\u00ebshilloi Trajanin t\u00eb vendoste ushtar\u00eb pran\u00eb trupave t\u00eb d\u00ebshmor\u00ebve, n\u00eb m\u00ebnyr\u00eb q\u00eb ata t\u00eb arrestonin ata q\u00eb i mor\u00ebn. Nat\u00ebn e par\u00eb rojet kap\u00ebn pes\u00eb virgj\u00ebreshat dhe bashk\u00eb me to edhe Drosid\u00ebn. Kur Trajani pa t\u00eb bij\u00ebn mes t\u00eb burgosurve, u shqet\u00ebsua thell\u00eb dhe dha urdh\u00ebr t\u00eb rrept\u00eb. Ai urdh\u00ebroi q\u00eb ajo t\u00eb mbyllej n\u00eb nj\u00eb dhom\u00eb t\u00eb ruajtur mir\u00eb, duke shpresuar se ajo do t\u00eb pendohej dhe do t\u00eb ndryshonte mendje. Megjithat\u00eb, p\u00ebr pes\u00eb virgj\u00ebreshat e guximshme, ai vendosi nj\u00eb vdekje mizore n\u00eb nj\u00eb furr\u00eb t\u00eb madhe bakri. N\u00eb fest\u00ebn e Apollonit, banja do t\u00eb hapej p\u00ebr t\u00eb gjith\u00eb pasuesit pagan\u00eb t\u00eb perandorit. Kur populli u thirr p\u00ebr t\u00eb hyr\u00eb n\u00eb banj\u00eb p\u00ebr her\u00eb t\u00eb par\u00eb, i pari q\u00eb doli n\u00eb prag ra menj\u00ebher\u00eb i vdekur n\u00eb tok\u00eb. E nj\u00ebjta gj\u00eb ndodhi me t\u00eb gjith\u00eb t\u00eb tjer\u00ebt q\u00eb guxuan t&#x27;i afroheshin hyrjes s\u00eb k\u00ebtij banja luksoze. Askush nuk mund t\u00eb kalonte m\u00eb as nga dera e par\u00eb e nd\u00ebrtes\u00ebs. Trajani thirri prift\u00ebrinjt\u00eb e tij dhe pyeti n\u00ebse ishte magji nga t\u00eb krishter\u00ebt. Ata iu p\u00ebrgjigj\u00ebn se fajin e kishin trek\u00ebmb\u00ebshat, t\u00eb cil\u00ebt u derdh\u00ebn bashk\u00eb me hirin e virgj\u00ebreshave t\u00eb shenjta. Ata sugjeruan heqjen e trek\u00ebmb\u00ebshave menj\u00ebher\u00eb dhe shkrirjen e tyre p\u00ebr nj\u00eb p\u00ebrdorim tjet\u00ebr. Pastaj Hadriani shpiku nj\u00eb fyerje t\u00eb re kund\u00ebr kujtimit t\u00eb d\u00ebshmor\u00ebve. Ai e k\u00ebshilloi perandorin t\u00eb b\u00ebnte pes\u00eb statuja bronzi t\u00eb virgj\u00ebreshave t\u00eb zhveshura, t\u00eb cilat do t&#x27;i kujtonin martir\u00ebt. Ata ishin vendosur para hyrjes s\u00eb banj\u00ebs p\u00ebr t\u00eb p\u00ebrbuzur dhe tallur kujtimin e tyre. Kur statujat u vendos\u00ebn n\u00eb vendet e tyre, Trajani pa n\u00eb gjum\u00eb nj\u00eb vegim t\u00eb tmerrsh\u00ebm. Ai pa pes\u00eb qengja t\u00eb past\u00ebr q\u00eb kullosnin n\u00eb Parajs\u00eb dhe ruheshin nga nj\u00eb bari madh\u00ebshtor. Ai bari i tha me rrept\u00ebsi se Bariu i mir\u00eb dhe i m\u00ebshirsh\u00ebm i mori pran\u00eb vetes ata q\u00eb i posht\u00ebroi. Ai gjithashtu i njoftoi se me kalimin e koh\u00ebs n\u00eb at\u00eb vend do t\u00eb vinte edhe Drosida, vajza e tij e past\u00ebr. Duke u zgjuar, Trajani u pushtua nga nj\u00eb zem\u00ebrim i tmerrsh\u00ebm dhe urdh\u00ebroi t\u00eb ndizen dy furra t\u00eb m\u00ebdha pran\u00eb qytetit. Pran\u00eb tyre ai vendosi nj\u00eb dekret perandorak, i cili u b\u00ebnte thirrje t\u00eb krishter\u00ebve t\u00eb b\u00ebnin flijime p\u00ebr per\u00ebndit\u00eb ose t\u00eb binin vet\u00ebm n\u00eb flak\u00eb. Shum\u00eb besimtar\u00eb zgjodh\u00ebn me guxim rrug\u00ebn e martirizimit dhe vullnetarisht u hodh\u00ebn n\u00eb zjarr. Kur Drosida e re m\u00ebsoi p\u00ebr k\u00ebt\u00eb l\u00ebvizje t\u00eb guximshme t\u00eb v\u00ebllez\u00ebrve t\u00eb saj, vendosi t\u00eb ndiqte t\u00eb nj\u00ebjt\u00ebn rrug\u00eb. Ajo iu lut me zjarr Zotit dhe k\u00ebrkoi q\u00eb kujdestar\u00ebt e saj t\u00eb flinin p\u00ebr pak. Zoti e d\u00ebgjoi menj\u00ebher\u00eb lutjen e vajz\u00ebs dhe t\u00eb gjith\u00eb ran\u00eb n\u00eb nj\u00eb gjum\u00eb t\u00eb thell\u00eb. M\u00eb pas ajo hoqi regalin\u00eb e saj mbret\u00ebrore dhe u largua n\u00eb heshtje nga dhoma e burgut. Nd\u00ebrsa ecte drejt furr\u00ebs, ajo mendoi me ankth p\u00ebr gjendjen e saj shpirt\u00ebrore p\u00ebrpara Krishtit. Ai pyeste veten se si do t&#x27;i paraqitej Per\u00ebndis\u00eb pa rrob\u00ebn e pag\u00ebzimit, pasi nuk ishte ndri\u00e7uar ende me sakramentin e shenjt\u00eb. Por ajo iu lut Zotit q\u00eb t\u00eb ishte pag\u00ebzuesi i saj me Frym\u00ebn e Shenjt\u00eb. Pastaj nxori mirr\u00ebn q\u00eb kishte marr\u00eb me vete dhe vajosi t\u00eb gjitha pjes\u00ebt e trupit t\u00eb saj. M\u00eb pas ajo \u00ebsht\u00eb futur n\u00eb uj\u00ebrat e nj\u00eb p\u00ebrroi t\u00eb vog\u00ebl, i cili i ka kaluar n\u00eb rrug\u00ebn e saj. Ai u zhyt tre her\u00eb n\u00eb uj\u00eb duke th\u00ebn\u00eb se sh\u00ebrb\u00ebtorja e Zotit Drosida \u00ebsht\u00eb pag\u00ebzuar n\u00eb em\u00ebr t\u00eb Atit dhe t\u00eb Birit dhe t\u00eb Shpirtit t\u00eb Shenjt\u00eb. Pas vet\u00ebpag\u00ebzimit, ai u fsheh p\u00ebr shtat\u00eb dit\u00eb t\u00eb t\u00ebra n\u00eb nj\u00eb vend t\u00eb izoluar larg njer\u00ebzve. Ajo e kaloi gjith\u00eb k\u00ebt\u00eb koh\u00eb n\u00eb agj\u00ebrim t\u00eb rrept\u00eb dhe lutje t\u00eb pand\u00ebrprer\u00eb ndaj dh\u00ebndrit t\u00eb saj qiellor. N\u00eb dit\u00ebn e tet\u00eb pas pag\u00ebzimit, shenjtori u lut p\u00ebr her\u00eb t\u00eb fundit me emocion t\u00eb thell\u00eb. M\u00eb pas b\u00ebri at\u00eb q\u00eb kishte menduar q\u00eb n\u00eb fillim dhe u hodh me guxim n\u00eb flak\u00ebt e sob\u00ebs.
