N\u00eb duart e tij q\u00ebndronte vet\u00ebm kryqi prej druri q\u00eb ai kishte ngritur me duart e tij vite m\u00eb par\u00eb, n\u00eb shkret\u00ebtir\u00ebn e eg\u00ebr. Osh\u00ebnar Euphrosynos, i lindur Efraimi, lindi n\u00eb Karelia, af\u00ebr liqenit Landozskoye, n\u00eb gjysm\u00ebn e dyt\u00eb t\u00eb shekullit t\u00eb gjasht\u00ebmb\u00ebdhjet\u00eb. N\u00eb vitet e tij t\u00eb hershme ai praktikoi pran\u00eb manastirit t\u00eb famsh\u00ebm t\u00eb Valamos dhe m\u00eb von\u00eb shkoi n\u00eb Novgorodin e madh, Rusi. M\u00eb pas u transferua n\u00eb rajonin e Dolokit dhe sh\u00ebrbeu si lexues n\u00eb sh\u00ebrbimet e nj\u00eb fshati t\u00eb vog\u00ebl n\u00eb provinc\u00eb. N\u00eb Manastirin e Zonj\u00ebs s\u00eb Tikhvinit ai pranoi form\u00ebn monastike dhe mori emrin Eufrosynos, duke ia kushtuar jet\u00ebn Zotit. Pas disa vitesh jet\u00eb t\u00eb p\u00ebrbashk\u00ebt, ai i zbuloi abatit d\u00ebshir\u00ebn e tij p\u00ebr heshtje dhe paqe m\u00eb t\u00eb thell\u00eb. Plaku i foli p\u00ebr rreziqet e marshimit t\u00eb shkret\u00ebtir\u00ebs dhe n\u00eb fund i dha bekimin e tij. Ai g\u00ebrmoi nj\u00eb shpell\u00eb n\u00eb tok\u00eb, ngriti nj\u00eb kryq druri pran\u00eb saj dhe jetoi atje p\u00ebr dy vjet t\u00eb t\u00ebra. I gjith\u00eb ushqimi i tij ishin bar\u00ebra t\u00eb egra, manaferra dhe k\u00ebrpudha t\u00eb pyllit, pa asnj\u00eb rehati tjet\u00ebr njer\u00ebzore. N\u00eb nj\u00eb moment fshatar\u00ebt nga fshatrat p\u00ebrreth e zbuluan pranin\u00eb e tij dhe filluan ta vizitojn\u00eb me nderim. Ata k\u00ebrkuan k\u00ebshill\u00ebn e tij, lutjen e tij dhe udh\u00ebheqjen e tij shpirt\u00ebrore n\u00eb \u00e7do v\u00ebshtir\u00ebsi t\u00eb jet\u00ebs. Disa q\u00ebndruan me t\u00eb dhe k\u00ebshtu u krijua nj\u00eb v\u00ebllaz\u00ebri e vog\u00ebl asket\u00ebsh n\u00eb mes t\u00eb shkret\u00ebtir\u00ebs. S\u00eb shpejti lindi nevoja p\u00ebr t\u00eb ngritur nj\u00eb tempull ku t\u00eb gjith\u00eb mund t\u00eb luteshin s\u00eb bashku. Ata pastruan pyllin, lan\u00eb trar\u00ebt dhe nd\u00ebrtuan nj\u00eb tempull prej druri me duart e tyre. P\u00ebr shkak se Plaku nuk ishte shuguruar prift p\u00ebr shkak t\u00eb posht\u00ebrimit, tempulli u p\u00ebrurua nga bashk\u00ebpraktikuesi i Sh\u00ebn Gurias i Salatsk. Kisha iu kushtua Shpalljes s\u00eb Virgj\u00ebresh\u00ebs Mari, me bekimin e Kryepeshkopit t\u00eb Novgorodit Isidoros. Sh\u00ebn Gourias shkonte shpesh n\u00eb liqenin e Sinitse, p\u00ebr t&#x27;u lutur me v\u00ebllez\u00ebrit dhe p\u00ebr t\u00eb ndar\u00eb me ta Misteret e Shenjta. N\u00eb nj\u00eb nga k\u00ebto vizita ai e veshi Sh\u00ebn Eufrosinen\u00eb me form\u00ebn e madhe dhe engj\u00ebllore. N\u00eb vitin 1612, nd\u00ebrsa trupat polake sulmuan Rusin\u00eb, shum\u00eb njer\u00ebz vrapuan p\u00ebr siguri brenda manastirit t\u00eb shkret\u00ebtir\u00ebs. M\u00eb n\u00ebnt\u00ebmb\u00ebdhjet\u00eb mars Osh\u00ebnar zbuloi me nj\u00eb fjal\u00eb profetike se polak\u00ebt tashm\u00eb po shkonin drejt manastirit. Ai i k\u00ebshilloi t\u00eb gjith\u00eb t\u00eb largoheshin pa vones\u00eb, p\u00ebr t&#x27;i shp\u00ebtuar vdekjes s\u00eb sigurt dhe t\u00eb af\u00ebrt. Por shum\u00eb nuk u besuan fjal\u00ebve t\u00eb tij dhe e pyet\u00ebn pse ai vet\u00eb nuk u largua me to. Plaku u p\u00ebrgjigj me qet\u00ebsi se kishte ardhur atje p\u00ebr t\u00eb vdekur p\u00ebr emrin e Krishtit. Ata q\u00eb iu bind\u00ebn z\u00ebrit t\u00eb Shenjtit dhe u larguan nga manastiri, shp\u00ebtuan, nd\u00ebrsa ata q\u00eb q\u00ebndruan, p\u00ebsuan nj\u00eb vdekje t\u00eb tmerrshme. Mes tyre ishte murgu Jona, i cili u tremb nga profecia dhe fillimisht donte t\u00eb largohej me t\u00eb tjer\u00ebt. Osh\u00ebnar, megjithat\u00eb, e mbajti pran\u00eb tij. Osh\u00ebnar Eufrosynos veshi form\u00ebn e madhe dhe e kaloi gjith\u00eb nat\u00ebn n\u00eb k\u00ebmb\u00eb n\u00eb lutje. T\u00eb nes\u00ebrmen, m\u00eb 20 mars, forcat polake sulmuan manastirin e vog\u00ebl. Sh\u00ebn doli nga qelia i veshur me form\u00ebn engj\u00ebllore dhe q\u00ebndroi pran\u00eb kryqit q\u00eb kishte vendosur. Armiqt\u00eb i k\u00ebrkuan mizorisht t\u00eb dor\u00ebzonte t\u00eb gjith\u00eb pasurin\u00eb e manastirit. Me qet\u00ebsi u p\u00ebrgjigj se \u00e7do thesar i tij dhe i manastirit \u00ebsht\u00eb brenda tempullit t\u00eb Hyjlind\u00ebs. Ai n\u00ebnkuptonte sigurisht thesaret shpirt\u00ebrore q\u00eb askush nuk mund t&#x27;i heq\u00eb nga zemra e besimtarit. Polak\u00ebt nuk kuptuan asgj\u00eb nga fjal\u00ebt e tij dhe vrapuan t\u00ebrbuar drejt tempullit. Nj\u00ebri prej tyre nxori shpat\u00ebn dhe e goditi fort n\u00eb qaf\u00eb Osios. Plaku i shenjt\u00eb ra i vdekur pran\u00eb kryqit q\u00eb kishte ngritur me duart e tij. Kur armiqt\u00eb u kthyen t\u00eb t\u00ebrbuar, sepse nuk gjet\u00ebn asgj\u00eb brenda tempullit, godit\u00ebn me s\u00ebpat\u00eb kok\u00ebn e shenjt\u00eb t\u00eb martirit. Bashk\u00eb me t\u00eb u martirizua edhe murgu Ionas, i cili nderohet nga Kisha n\u00eb t\u00eb nj\u00ebjt\u00ebn dit\u00eb me Osios. N\u00eb at\u00eb koh\u00eb n\u00eb manastir ishte edhe nj\u00eb i krishter\u00eb i devotsh\u00ebm, Joani Souma, i cili ishte n\u00eb qelin\u00eb e Plakut. Ai mori l\u00ebndime t\u00eb tmerrshme nga pushtuesit, por mbeti gjall\u00eb, megjith\u00ebse kishte humbur ndjenjat. Kur polak\u00ebt u t\u00ebrhoq\u00ebn, ai erdhi n\u00eb vete dhe i tha djalit t\u00eb tij Aemilianus gj\u00ebrat e tmerrshme q\u00eb kishin par\u00eb syt\u00eb e tij n\u00eb at\u00eb dit\u00eb t\u00eb tmerrshme. Prej tyre banor\u00ebt e fshatrave p\u00ebrreth m\u00ebsuan p\u00ebr shkat\u00ebrrimin e manastirit dhe martirizimin e lavdish\u00ebm t\u00eb Sh\u00ebn Eufrosynos, i cili me hirin e tij parfumoi gjith\u00eb krahin\u00ebn. M\u00eb nj\u00ebzet e tet\u00eb mars u varros\u00ebn me nderim trupat e ndersh\u00ebm t\u00eb Sh\u00ebn Eufrosynos, murgut Jonas dhe t\u00eb tjer\u00ebve t\u00eb r\u00ebn\u00eb nga shpata. Varri i tyre u hap pran\u00eb kryqit ku ata kishin shfaqur martirizimin e tyre p\u00ebrpara Zotit dhe njer\u00ebzve. Tridhjet\u00eb e kat\u00ebr vjet pasi i Shenjti ra n\u00eb gjum\u00eb, nj\u00eb njeri i devotsh\u00ebm me emrin Moisiu nd\u00ebrtoi nj\u00eb tempull t\u00eb ri n\u00eb at\u00eb vend. Ai ia kushtoi at\u00eb Sh\u00ebn Triad\u00ebs, q\u00eb emri i Zotit t\u00eb lavd\u00ebrohej vazhdimisht brenda komunitetit monastik. Me bekimin e Mitropolitit Makarios t\u00eb Novgorodit, m\u00eb nj\u00ebzet e pes\u00eb mars, nj\u00eb mij\u00eb e gjasht\u00ebqind e pes\u00ebdhjet\u00eb e pes\u00eb, u transferuan eshtrat e tij t\u00eb paduruesh\u00ebm. Ata u vendos\u00ebn n\u00eb nj\u00eb relikare t\u00eb re n\u00ebn kambanoren e kish\u00ebs, ku besimtar\u00ebt mund t\u00eb adhuronin. Sipas t\u00eb dh\u00ebnave t\u00eb manastirit, Osh\u00ebnar ishte me gjat\u00ebsi mesatare, me shpatulla t\u00eb gjera, gjoks t\u00eb gjer\u00eb, flok\u00eb kafe me njolla gri dhe nj\u00eb mjek\u00ebr t\u00eb gjat\u00eb me pirun n\u00eb fund.
