Ajo u p\u00ebrpoq t\u00eb t\u00ebrheq\u00eb Chrysanthos me fjal\u00eb t\u00eb \u00ebmb\u00ebl dhe sharmin e bukuris\u00eb s\u00eb saj. Me bashk\u00ebjetes\u00ebn e tyre ata fituan lirin\u00eb p\u00ebr t\u00eb punuar p\u00ebr Krishtin dhe Chrysanthosi pag\u00ebzoi gruan e tij. Pas vdekjes s\u00eb Polemonit ata organizuan dy bashk\u00ebsi t\u00eb ve\u00e7anta, si manastiret e para n\u00eb Rom\u00eb. Chrysanthos mblodhi rreth tij t\u00eb rinj q\u00eb i premtuan virgj\u00ebrin\u00eb Per\u00ebndis\u00eb dhe Daria mblodhi gra dhe vajza kushtuar Krishtit. Shum\u00eb burra humb\u00ebn grat\u00eb e tyre dhe shum\u00eb t\u00eb rinj t\u00eb fejuarit e tyre nd\u00ebrsa gjithnj\u00eb e m\u00eb shum\u00eb i ofruan jet\u00ebn Dh\u00ebndrit t\u00eb shpirtrave. Populli u ngrit dhe denoncoi dy shenjtor\u00ebt te prefekti i Celerinos p\u00ebr prishjen e martesave dhe p\u00ebrmbysjen e shoq\u00ebris\u00eb. Ai ia dha Chrysanthos tribunit Klaudius dhe urdh\u00ebroi q\u00eb t\u00eb detyrohej nga tortura p\u00ebr t&#x27;u flijuar per\u00ebndive. E lidh\u00ebn me tanga qesh t\u00eb fresk\u00ebta, p\u00ebr ta shtr\u00ebnguar nd\u00ebrsa thaheshin, por prangat u k\u00ebput\u00ebn menj\u00ebher\u00eb nga vetja. Kur e godit\u00ebn, shkopinjt\u00eb u zbut\u00ebn n\u00eb trupin e tij si shufra t\u00eb holl\u00eb. Kur Numeriani m\u00ebsoi p\u00ebr k\u00ebt\u00eb, ai u t\u00ebrbua dhe urdh\u00ebroi q\u00eb Klaudi t\u00eb hidhej n\u00eb det me nj\u00eb gur n\u00eb qaf\u00eb dhe t&#x27;i prisnin kok\u00ebn bijve dhe ushtar\u00ebve. Perandori e mbylli Krizantem\u00ebn n\u00eb burgun e tmerrsh\u00ebm t\u00eb Mamertinos, plot pisll\u00ebk dhe er\u00eb t\u00eb keqe, nd\u00ebrsa Daria ua dor\u00ebzoi t\u00eb pabes\u00ebve t\u00eb qytetit, p\u00ebr ta turp\u00ebruar me \u00e7nderimin e saj publik. Por Per\u00ebndia nuk i braktisi as p\u00ebr nj\u00eb \u00e7ast dy sh\u00ebrb\u00ebtor\u00ebt e tij besnik\u00eb. Kur nj\u00eb i ri i pafytyr\u00eb hyri p\u00ebr ta fyer, bisha e rr\u00ebzoi p\u00ebr tok\u00eb dhe priti urdhrin e shenjtorit. Ajo e urdh\u00ebroi q\u00eb ta linte t\u00eb jetonte, t\u00eb d\u00ebgjonte fjal\u00ebn e Per\u00ebndis\u00eb dhe i riu u largua duke rr\u00ebfyer se Krishti \u00ebsht\u00eb i vetmi Per\u00ebndi i v\u00ebrtet\u00eb. M\u00eb pas u d\u00ebrguan mund\u00ebs t\u00eb fort\u00eb p\u00ebr t\u00eb nxjerr\u00eb luanin, por edhe k\u00ebta ai i rr\u00ebzoi dhe i mbajti n\u00eb k\u00ebmb\u00ebt e d\u00ebshmorit. Kur ata pohuan besimin e tyre, Daria e urdh\u00ebroi bish\u00ebn t\u00eb largohej prej tyre dhe ata dol\u00ebn n\u00eb rrug\u00eb duke predikuar Krishtin. Dy d\u00ebshmor\u00ebt p\u00ebrjetuan ende shum\u00eb tortura, por asnj\u00ebri prej tyre nuk i p\u00ebrkuli dhe nuk e njollos rr\u00ebfimin e tyre.
