M\u00eb von\u00eb, t\u00eb varur n\u00eb kryqe, prift\u00ebrinjt\u00eb Trofimus dhe Thallos vazhduan t\u00eb predikonin Krishtin, nd\u00ebrsa n\u00ebna e tyre u q\u00ebndronte pran\u00eb me nj\u00eb guxim t\u00eb mahnitsh\u00ebm. Ata erdh\u00ebn nga Stratoniceia n\u00eb Caria dhe sh\u00ebrbyen si pleq n\u00eb Laodicea, midis lumenjve Lykos dhe Maeandros, n\u00eb Azin\u00eb e Vog\u00ebl. Ata ishin v\u00ebllez\u00ebr n\u00eb mish, t\u00eb pal\u00ebkundur n\u00eb besim dhe predikues t\u00eb palodhur t\u00eb fjal\u00ebs s\u00eb Per\u00ebndis\u00eb. Ata donin t\u00eb shpinin shpirtrat e t\u00eb mashtruarve dhe kund\u00ebrshtuan me guxim pagan\u00ebt grek\u00eb, duke kontrolluar pandershm\u00ebrin\u00eb e tyre me paturp\u00ebsi. Pagan\u00ebt nuk i duruan dot kontrollet dhe i kap\u00ebn dy v\u00ebllez\u00ebrit duke i futur n\u00eb burg pa gjyq dhe pa m\u00ebshir\u00eb. N\u00eb at\u00eb koh\u00eb mbret\u00ebronin Diokleciani dhe Maksimiani, persekutues mizor\u00eb t\u00eb Kish\u00ebs s\u00eb Krishtit. Sundimtari Asklepiodoti kishte mb\u00ebrritur n\u00eb Caria dhe ishte vendosur n\u00eb qytetin e Bothro, af\u00ebr Laodices\u00eb, duke marr\u00eb provinc\u00ebn. Komandanti i gard\u00ebs s\u00eb Laodices\u00eb i d\u00ebrgoi nj\u00eb mesazh sundimtarit dhe e pyeti se si duhet t\u00eb sillej me dy prift\u00ebrinjt\u00eb e krishter\u00eb. P\u00ebrgjigjja ishte e qart\u00eb dhe e pam\u00ebshirshme, pasi Asklepiodoti urdh\u00ebroi q\u00eb t\u00eb vriteshin me gur\u00eb pa asnj\u00eb vones\u00eb. Martir\u00ebt e shenjt\u00eb u nxor\u00ebn p\u00ebr t&#x27;i ekzekutuar, por t\u00eb krishter\u00ebt i rrethuan dhe u p\u00ebrpoq\u00ebn t&#x27;i mbronin nga gur\u00ebt. Me gjith\u00eb nxitimin e persekutor\u00ebve, asnj\u00eb gur nuk preku trupat e dy prift\u00ebrinjve t\u00eb Zotit. N\u00eb vend t\u00eb k\u00ebsaj, gur\u00ebt do t\u00eb t\u00ebrhiqeshin dhe do t\u00eb goditnin ata q\u00eb i hodh\u00ebn kund\u00ebr vullnetit t\u00eb tyre. Ndjek\u00ebsit u lodh\u00ebn, u rraskapit\u00ebn nga p\u00ebrpjekja e kot\u00eb dhe m\u00eb n\u00eb fund pushuan s\u00eb hedhuri gur\u00eb. Kur shefi i gard\u00ebs m\u00ebsoi p\u00ebr k\u00ebt\u00eb, vendosi t&#x27;i lironte dy v\u00ebllez\u00ebrit nga lidhjet e tyre. Por ata nuk u ndal\u00ebn, por vazhduan pa frik\u00eb t\u00eb m\u00ebsojn\u00eb besimin e Krishtit dhe t\u00eb kontrollojn\u00eb pabesin\u00eb e pagan\u00ebve. Pas ca koh\u00ebsh, zot\u00ebrinjt\u00eb e qytetit i arrestuan p\u00ebrs\u00ebri dhe ia d\u00ebrguan sundimtarit n\u00eb Grop\u00eb. Ata i than\u00eb se k\u00ebta njer\u00ebz i vran\u00eb me gur\u00eb me urdh\u00ebr t\u00eb tij, por gur\u00ebt nuk i prek\u00ebn n\u00eb asnj\u00eb m\u00ebnyr\u00eb. Sundimtari u t\u00ebrbua dhe urdh\u00ebroi t\u00eb vareshin shenjtor\u00ebt dhe t&#x27;u griseshin trupat me vegla t\u00eb mprehta hekuri. Nd\u00ebrsa vuajt\u00ebn tortura t\u00eb tmerrshme, martiri b\u00ebrtiti me z\u00eb t\u00eb lart\u00eb se ata jan\u00eb t\u00eb krishter\u00eb dhe nuk do t\u00eb adhurojn\u00eb kurr\u00eb idhujt. Ata deklaruan me pafytyr\u00ebsi se nuk do t&#x27;u bindeshin kurr\u00eb urdhrave t\u00eb paper\u00ebndish\u00ebm t\u00eb mbret\u00ebrve tok\u00ebsor\u00eb. Pas gjith\u00eb k\u00ebtyre torturave, sundimtari i d\u00ebnoi me vdekje n\u00eb kryq, si Mjeshtri i tyre. Shenjtor\u00ebt i nxor\u00ebn jasht\u00eb qytetit, ku ishin p\u00ebrgatitur kryqet dhe marshuan me g\u00ebzim e hare. Ata lavd\u00ebruan Per\u00ebndin\u00eb, i cili e meritonte t\u00eb vdisnin nj\u00eb vdekje t\u00eb till\u00eb, t\u00eb ngjashme me pasionet e Zotit Jisu. Pas tyre ndiqte nj\u00eb turm\u00eb e madhe burrash dhe grash, t\u00eb cil\u00ebt donin t\u00eb shihnin fundin e dy v\u00ebllez\u00ebrve. Kur arrit\u00ebn te kryqet, disa t\u00eb krishter\u00eb u soll\u00ebn pak ushqim dhe iu lut\u00ebn ta shijonin. P\u00ebr t\u00eb mos u pik\u00eblluar ata q\u00eb i luteshin, h\u00ebngr\u00ebn pak dhe pjes\u00ebn tjet\u00ebr ua shp\u00ebrndanin atyre q\u00eb rrinin rreth tyre. Pastaj i gozhduan me gozhda hekuri n\u00eb kryqe, t\u00eb ngjashme me Zotin e kryq\u00ebzuar. T\u00eb varur n\u00eb kryqe, shenjtor\u00ebt u fol\u00ebn njer\u00ebzve dhe u m\u00ebsuan atyre vet\u00ebdijen p\u00ebr Zotin e v\u00ebrtet\u00eb dhe besimin e shenjt\u00eb. Pastaj midis turm\u00ebs u ngrit nj\u00eb vajtim dhe nj\u00eb klithm\u00eb, pasi shum\u00eb e faj\u00ebsuan sundimtarin p\u00ebr zem\u00ebrgur\u00ebsin\u00eb e tij. T\u00eb tjer\u00eb b\u00ebrtit\u00ebn me lot se fuqia e Jisuit u shfaq n\u00eb dit\u00ebt e tyre n\u00eb nj\u00eb m\u00ebnyr\u00eb t\u00eb mrekullueshme. Nj\u00eb grua hebreje adhuroi shenjtor\u00ebt dhe thirri se lum n\u00ebnat q\u00eb lind\u00ebn burra t\u00eb till\u00eb. Aty q\u00ebndronte edhe n\u00ebna e tyre, e cila shikonte me guxim dhe besim vuajtjet e dy f\u00ebmij\u00ebve t\u00eb saj. Shum\u00eb prej t\u00eb pranishm\u00ebve mblodh\u00ebn pikat e gjakut t\u00eb shenjt\u00eb q\u00eb pikonin nga trupat e d\u00ebshmor\u00ebve. Disa lagin shamit\u00eb e t\u00eb tjer\u00eb unazat p\u00ebr t&#x27;u kuruar nga s\u00ebmundjet mendore dhe fizike. Martir\u00ebt e Krishtit, pasi iu lut\u00ebn Zotit, dor\u00ebzuan shpirtrat e tyre t\u00eb shenjt\u00eb n\u00eb dit\u00ebn e gjasht\u00ebmb\u00ebdhjet\u00eb t\u00eb marsit. Besimtar\u00ebt p\u00ebrgatit\u00ebn qefina t\u00eb pastra dhe parfume aromatike p\u00ebr varrimin e d\u00ebshmor\u00ebve t\u00eb Zotit t\u00eb tyre. N\u00eb vendin e martirizimit erdhi edhe rojtari i burgut, i cili rr\u00ebfeu publikisht nj\u00eb vegim t\u00eb madh e t\u00eb mrekulluesh\u00ebm. Ai tha se i pa shpirtrat e dy d\u00ebshmor\u00ebve duke u ngjitur n\u00eb qiell, nd\u00ebrsa tre engj\u00ebj i shoq\u00ebruan dhe biseduan me ta. Pastaj njer\u00ebzit shkuan te sundimtari dhe iu lut\u00ebn q\u00eb t\u00eb lejonte q\u00eb trupat t\u00eb hiqen nga kryqet. Ai n\u00eb fillim u t\u00ebrbua dhe urdh\u00ebroi ushtar\u00ebt e tij t\u00eb godasin ata q\u00eb afroheshin me nj\u00eb k\u00ebrkes\u00eb t\u00eb till\u00eb. Por pas pak u qet\u00ebsua dhe lejoi q\u00eb kush donte t\u00eb merrte kufomat e t\u00eb fjeturve. T\u00eb krishter\u00ebt i zbrit\u00ebn shenjtor\u00ebt nga kryqet dhe i vendos\u00ebn n\u00eb nj\u00eb varr t\u00eb ri me nderim t\u00eb madh. Gjith\u00eb nat\u00ebn njer\u00ebzit q\u00ebndruan pran\u00eb faltoreve lipsane me qirinj t\u00eb ndezur dhe duke k\u00ebnduar. N\u00eb m\u00ebngjes erdhi gruaja e sundimtarit, duke sjell\u00eb parfume dhe mirr\u00eb t\u00eb \u00e7muar dhe i derdhi mbi trupat e shenjtor\u00ebve. Ai gjithashtu vendosi nj\u00eb mbules\u00eb t\u00eb \u00e7muar mbi varr dhe i tregoi nj\u00eb \u00ebnd\u00ebrr t\u00eb tmerrshme gjith\u00eb turm\u00ebs. Ajo tha se at\u00eb nat\u00eb i pa dy martir\u00ebt e d\u00ebrguar nga Zoti s\u00eb bashku me engj\u00ebjt, p\u00ebr t\u00eb nd\u00ebshkuar burrin e saj. Ajo e kritikoi hapur burrin e saj p\u00ebr mizorin\u00eb dhe pam\u00ebshirshm\u00ebrin\u00eb ndaj njer\u00ebzve t\u00eb pafajsh\u00ebm. Transportin e mori n\u00ebna e d\u00ebshmor\u00ebve dhe dy burra t\u00eb ndersh\u00ebm Zosima dhe Artemios, bashk\u00ebqytetar\u00eb. Ata e mor\u00ebn varrin e nderuar dhe e \u00e7uan n\u00eb Stratoniceia, atdheun e shenjtor\u00ebve, ku u varros\u00ebn me nder. S&#x27;kaloi shum\u00eb dita kur t\u00eb pabes\u00ebt festuan me solemnitet t\u00eb madh dit\u00eblindjen e Dioklecianit. Sundimtari shkoi n\u00eb Laodice dhe p\u00ebrgatiti nj\u00eb fest\u00eb t\u00eb madhe p\u00ebr nder t\u00eb perandorit t\u00eb tij t\u00eb pabes\u00eb. Por m\u00eb pas e gjeti papritur d\u00ebnimi i Zotit p\u00ebr gjakun e pafajsh\u00ebm q\u00eb kishte derdhur. Ai papritmas ra n\u00eb tok\u00eb dhe u p\u00ebrplas si nj\u00eb i pushtuar, duke u dridhur n\u00eb t\u00eb gjitha gjymtyr\u00ebt e tij nga tmerri. Ata q\u00eb ishin t\u00eb pranish\u00ebm dhe e pan\u00eb k\u00ebt\u00eb ngjarje ishin t\u00eb mbushur me frik\u00eb dhe tmerr t\u00eb madh. Sundimtari b\u00ebrtiti dhe k\u00ebrkoi ndihm\u00eb nga Zeusi, Herakliu, M\u00ebrkuri dhe per\u00ebndit\u00eb e tij t\u00eb rreme. Pastaj ai pranoi se kishte adhuruar idhujt m\u00eb kot dhe m\u00eb n\u00eb fund e kuptoi gabimin e jet\u00ebs s\u00eb tij. Ai tha se i dor\u00ebzohet zjarrit t\u00eb p\u00ebrjetsh\u00ebm, t\u00eb cilin Zoti i qiellit e d\u00ebrgon me sh\u00ebrb\u00ebtor\u00ebt e tij, Ushqimin dhe Talusin. Teksa b\u00ebrtiste me t\u00eb madhe q\u00eb ul\u00ebrima e tij t\u00eb d\u00ebgjohej gjithandej, e mundonte dhimbje dhe agoni e padurueshme. Nga ashp\u00ebrsia e torturave, ai filloi t\u00eb shqyej\u00eb trupin me dh\u00ebmb\u00eb dhe t\u00eb kafshoj\u00eb gjuh\u00ebn. K\u00ebshtu n\u00eb vuajtje t\u00eb tmerrshme ai ia dor\u00ebzoi shpirtin e tij t\u00eb mjer\u00eb per\u00ebndive t\u00eb rreme q\u00eb kishte adhuruar. Persekutori zbriti me vajtime t\u00eb hidhura te demon\u00ebt, p\u00ebr t&#x27;u munduar p\u00ebrjet\u00ebsisht n\u00eb ferr me ta. Por d\u00ebshmor\u00ebt e shenjt\u00eb Trofimos dhe Thallos u ngjit\u00ebn me g\u00ebzim dhe g\u00ebzim te Zoti dhe Zoti i tyre. Ata mbret\u00ebrojn\u00eb p\u00ebrjet\u00ebsisht n\u00eb qiej dhe jan\u00eb t\u00eb pranish\u00ebm n\u00eb fronin e ndritsh\u00ebm t\u00eb Atit, Birit dhe Shpirtit t\u00eb Shenjt\u00eb.
