Kur ai u t\u00ebrhoq zvarr\u00eb posht\u00eb Nilit i lidhur n\u00eb nj\u00eb gur t\u00eb r\u00ebnd\u00eb, Savinus profetizoi me qet\u00ebsi se t\u00eb krishter\u00ebt do ta gjenin trupin e tij pas tre dit\u00ebsh. Ai vinte nga nj\u00eb nga familjet m\u00eb t\u00eb shquara t\u00eb Hermupolisit, qyteti q\u00eb shtrihej p\u00ebrgjat\u00eb brigjeve t\u00eb Nilit n\u00eb Egjipt. Ai u b\u00eb i njohur n\u00eb mbar\u00eb vendin p\u00ebr luft\u00ebn e tij n\u00eb favor t\u00eb besimit t\u00eb krishter\u00eb, por edhe p\u00ebr postin q\u00eb mbante si zot n\u00eb qytetin e tij. Kur shp\u00ebrtheu persekutimi i madh i perandorit Dioklecian rreth treqind e tre pas Krishtit, njer\u00ebzit e pallatit filluan ta k\u00ebrkonin at\u00eb kudo. Rrethuan sht\u00ebpin\u00eb dhe trokit\u00ebn n\u00eb der\u00eb n\u00eb heshtjen e shkret\u00ebtir\u00ebs. Gjasht\u00eb t\u00eb krishter\u00ebt q\u00eb ishin aty menduan se nj\u00eb v\u00eblla po trokiste p\u00ebr t\u00eb hyr\u00eb dhe hap\u00ebn der\u00ebn pa hezitim. Pagan\u00ebt hyn\u00eb menj\u00ebher\u00eb, kap\u00ebn t\u00eb gjith\u00eb t\u00eb krishter\u00ebt dhe i lidh\u00ebn fort me litar\u00eb. Vet\u00eb Savinusi u lidh me dy zinxhir\u00eb t\u00eb r\u00ebnd\u00eb dhe e \u00e7uan te sundimtari i vendit, emri i t\u00eb cilit ishte Arrian. Jasht\u00eb qytetit, marrjet n\u00eb pyetje dhe torturat filluan para syve t\u00eb vet\u00eb sundimtarit. Kur pa guximin e shenjtorit, urdh\u00ebroi q\u00eb ta fshikullonin r\u00ebnd\u00eb, me shpres\u00ebn se do t\u00eb p\u00ebrkulej dhe do ta mohonte Krishtin n\u00eb dhimbje. Gjaku e mbuloi trupin e d\u00ebshmorit, por ai q\u00ebndronte i heshtur para pyetjeve t\u00eb sundimtarit dhe nuk ankohej. Ai shtoi se vet\u00ebm nj\u00eb person i arsyesh\u00ebm mund t\u00eb q\u00ebndroj\u00eb i patundur n\u00eb rr\u00ebfimin e Krishtit. M\u00eb pas ai u ngarkua n\u00eb nj\u00eb anije p\u00ebr ta marr\u00eb p\u00ebrs\u00ebri n\u00eb qytet p\u00ebrtej lumit. Nd\u00ebrsa po udh\u00ebtonin n\u00eb uj\u00ebrat e Nilit, papritur u ngrit nj\u00eb stuhi e madhe dhe lumi u b\u00eb i eg\u00ebr si deti. Anija q\u00eb mbante sundimtarin dhe shenjtorin e rob\u00ebr p\u00ebr pak u fundos n\u00eb dallg\u00ebt e vrullshme. Savinus n\u00eb m\u00ebnyr\u00eb sfiduese rr\u00ebfeu se ishte i krishter\u00eb dhe se kurr\u00eb nuk do ta mohonte Per\u00ebndin\u00eb e v\u00ebrtet\u00eb p\u00ebrpara njer\u00ebzve. Ai madje k\u00ebrkoi nga gjyqtar\u00ebt q\u00eb t\u00eb jepnin shpejt vendimin e vdekjes s\u00eb tij, q\u00eb p\u00ebr t\u00eb ishte porta e jet\u00ebs s\u00eb p\u00ebrjetshme. Pastaj e shtrin\u00eb n\u00eb shpin\u00eb, i lidh\u00ebn duart dhe k\u00ebmb\u00ebt n\u00eb kat\u00ebr shtylla t\u00eb forta dhe e shtrin\u00eb me forc\u00eb.
