Perandori Julian dhunuesi kishte urdh\u00ebruar t\u00eb shkat\u00ebrrohej ikon\u00ebn e mrekullueshme, por asnj\u00eb fuqi njer\u00ebzore nuk mund ta prekte at\u00eb. Tradita e Kish\u00ebs na kthen n\u00eb vitet e para apostolike, kur apostujt Pjet\u00ebr dhe Joani predikuan fjal\u00ebn e Krishtit n\u00eb Lid\u00eb. Ky qytet i vog\u00ebl ndodhej af\u00ebr Jeruzalemit dhe m\u00eb von\u00eb u quajt Diospolis nga banor\u00ebt vendas. Pasi mbaruan pun\u00ebn, u kthyen n\u00eb Jeruzalem dhe iu lut\u00ebn Hyjlind\u00ebses q\u00eb t\u00eb vinte dhe t\u00eb shenjt\u00ebronte me pranin\u00eb e saj tempullin e ri. Ajo i ktheu p\u00ebrs\u00ebri te Lyda me fjal\u00eb plot dashuri dhe u premtoi se do t\u00eb ishte me ta atje. Apostujt e nis\u00ebn udh\u00ebtimin me g\u00ebzim, duke mos ditur se \u00e7far\u00eb mrekullie i priste n\u00eb at\u00eb vend. Kujtimi i ikon\u00ebs nderohet nga Kisha jon\u00eb n\u00eb dymb\u00ebdhjet\u00eb mars t\u00eb \u00e7do viti. Me t\u00eb mb\u00ebrritur n\u00eb Lydda, dy apostujt pan\u00eb me frik\u00eb nj\u00eb imazh t\u00eb Virgj\u00ebresh\u00ebs t\u00eb shtypur me ngjyra t\u00eb gjalla n\u00eb murin e tempullit. Disa burime thon\u00eb se figura e shenjt\u00eb ishte e ngulitur jo n\u00eb nj\u00eb mur, por n\u00eb nj\u00eb kolon\u00eb t\u00eb kish\u00ebs s\u00eb sapond\u00ebrtuar. Pak m\u00eb von\u00eb, vet\u00eb Hyjlind\u00ebsja u shfaq mrekullisht para turm\u00ebs s\u00eb besimtar\u00ebve. Ajo u g\u00ebzua kur pa njer\u00ebzit e shumt\u00eb q\u00eb ishin mbledhur atje p\u00ebr ta nderuar me nderim. M\u00eb pas ajo e bekoi ikon\u00ebn me duart e saj dhe i dha fuqin\u00eb p\u00ebr t\u00eb b\u00ebr\u00eb mrekulli. Ky imazh nuk \u00ebsht\u00eb b\u00ebr\u00eb nga dora e njeriut, por \u00ebsht\u00eb ngulitur nga fuqia hyjnore mbi materien. Pik\u00ebrisht p\u00ebr k\u00ebt\u00eb u quajt Unmade dhe u b\u00eb simbol i dashuris\u00eb s\u00eb Hyjlind\u00ebs p\u00ebr besimtar\u00ebt. Turma pelegrin\u00ebsh filluan t\u00eb mb\u00ebrrinin nga vende t\u00eb af\u00ebrta dhe t\u00eb larg\u00ebta p\u00ebr ta adhuruar at\u00eb me zjarr. Mrekullit\u00eb vazhduan t\u00eb ishin t\u00eb shumta dhe fama e imazhit u p\u00ebrhap shpejt p\u00ebrtej kufijve t\u00eb ngusht\u00eb t\u00eb qytetit t\u00eb vog\u00ebl. Lyda u shnd\u00ebrrua k\u00ebshtu n\u00eb nj\u00eb pelegrinazh t\u00eb gjall\u00eb dhe nj\u00eb vend ngush\u00ebllimi p\u00ebr shpirtra t\u00eb panum\u00ebrt. N\u00eb mesin e shekullit t\u00eb kat\u00ebrt Julian dhunuesi u ngjit n\u00eb fron dhe mbret\u00ebroi nga 361 deri n\u00eb 363. Kur d\u00ebgjoi p\u00ebr ikon\u00ebn e mrekullueshme t\u00eb Lydda, ai vendosi ta eliminonte at\u00eb nga toka me \u00e7do kusht. K\u00ebshtu ai d\u00ebrgoi gdhend\u00ebsit e specializuar t\u00eb mermerit me mjete t\u00eb mprehta p\u00ebr t\u00eb g\u00ebrvishtur figur\u00ebn e Virgj\u00ebresh\u00ebs nga guri. Mjeshtrit punonin me furi n\u00eb mur, por ngjyrat dhe linjat dukej se u zhyt\u00ebn edhe m\u00eb thell\u00eb. Ata emisar\u00eb t\u00eb perandorit q\u00eb u p\u00ebrpoq\u00ebn t\u00eb shkat\u00ebrronin imazhin e shenjt\u00eb, p\u00ebrfundimisht u larguan t\u00eb mundur dhe t\u00eb posht\u00ebruar. Kujtimi i tij festohet nga Kisha m\u00eb 12 maj \u00e7do vit s\u00eb bashku me hierark\u00ebt e tjer\u00eb t\u00eb shenjt\u00eb. Sh\u00ebn Germanusi k\u00ebrkoi nj\u00eb kopje besnike t\u00eb figur\u00ebs s\u00eb mrekullueshme dhe e mori me vete me nderim. N\u00eb vitet e ikonoklazm\u00ebs, Sh\u00ebn Gjermani d\u00ebrgoi kopjen e \u00e7muar t\u00eb figur\u00ebs n\u00eb Rom\u00eb, p\u00ebr t&#x27;u shp\u00ebtuar nga persekutuesit e figurave t\u00eb shenjta. Aty u vendos me nder brenda kish\u00ebs s\u00eb Sh\u00ebn Pjetrit dhe u b\u00eb shpejt burimi i shum\u00eb sh\u00ebrimeve t\u00eb mrekullueshme. I s\u00ebmuri, i l\u00ebnduari dhe i d\u00ebshp\u00ebruari gjet\u00ebn ngush\u00ebllim dhe sh\u00ebrim n\u00eb fytyr\u00ebn e Hyjlind\u00ebs me lot n\u00eb sy. N\u00eb tet\u00ebqind e dyzet e dy, kur Kisha triumfoi mbi ikonoklazmin, kopja u kthye n\u00eb Kostandinopoj\u00eb me g\u00ebzim t\u00eb madh.
