Ata e r\u00ebndonin trupin e tyre t\u00eb holl\u00eb me zinxhir\u00eb t\u00eb r\u00ebnd\u00eb hekuri dhe hanin ushqim vet\u00ebm nj\u00eb her\u00eb n\u00eb dyzet dit\u00eb, p\u00ebr tre vjet t\u00eb t\u00ebr\u00eb. Dy motrat, Marana dhe Kyra, vinin nga nj\u00eb familje e njohur dhe e pasur n\u00eb qytet. Jeta e tyre brenda k\u00ebsaj rrethimi t\u00eb vog\u00ebl ishte nj\u00eb luft\u00eb e vazhdueshme me natyr\u00ebn dhe me nevojat e trupit. Nuk kishte \u00e7ati mbi kok\u00eb, k\u00ebshtu q\u00eb ata ishin t\u00eb ekspozuar ndaj shiut, diellit, t\u00eb ftohtit dhe er\u00ebrave t\u00eb Siris\u00eb. N\u00ebn rrobat e tyre t\u00eb lirshme fshiheshin zinxhir\u00eb t\u00eb r\u00ebnd\u00eb hekuri, t\u00eb cil\u00ebt mb\u00ebshtillnin krah\u00ebt, k\u00ebmb\u00ebt, qaf\u00ebn dhe belin e tyre. N\u00eb k\u00ebt\u00eb m\u00ebnyr\u00eb ata mor\u00ebn trupin dhe mposht\u00ebn tundimet q\u00eb u vinin n\u00eb qet\u00ebsin\u00eb e tyre t\u00eb vetmuar. Kyra ishte m\u00eb e dob\u00ebt n\u00eb trup dhe pesha e mbajt\u00ebseve e p\u00ebrkuli t\u00eb gjith\u00ebn, n\u00eb m\u00ebnyr\u00eb q\u00eb t\u00eb mos q\u00ebndronte apo t\u00eb ulej drejt. Gjat\u00eb gjith\u00eb vitit ata mbanin heshtje t\u00eb rrept\u00eb dhe vet\u00ebm \u00e7do pes\u00ebdhjet\u00eb dit\u00eb e prishnin bised\u00ebn me bot\u00ebn p\u00ebr nj\u00eb dit\u00eb. K\u00ebshtu e pan\u00eb nga kjo jet\u00eb Dh\u00ebndrin e tyre Krishtin, i cili mbante nga qielli kuror\u00ebn amarante t\u00eb fitores. Sh\u00ebrb\u00ebtoret e tyre t\u00eb vjetra, duke par\u00eb flak\u00ebn e dashnoreve t\u00eb tyre, vendos\u00ebn t\u00eb ndiqnin t\u00eb nj\u00ebjt\u00ebn rrug\u00eb ushtrimesh dhe lutjesh. Peshkopi Kyrou Theodoritos, i cili regjistroi jet\u00ebn e tyre n\u00eb Historin\u00eb Filoteo, i vizitoi vet\u00eb ata n\u00eb banes\u00ebn e tyre t\u00eb p\u00ebrulur. Nga respekti p\u00ebr detyr\u00ebn e tij t\u00eb lart\u00eb prift\u00ebrore, virgj\u00ebreshat ran\u00eb dakord t\u00eb hapnin port\u00ebn dhe ta mir\u00ebpritnin.
