Por kur iu zhvesh \u00e7do pasuri tok\u00ebsore, armiku i tij i p\u00ebshp\u00ebriti se m\u00eb mir\u00eb t&#x27;ua shp\u00ebrndante t\u00eb varf\u00ebrve dhe e hodhi n\u00eb d\u00ebshp\u00ebrim t\u00eb thell\u00eb. Ai lindi n\u00eb Rusi nga prind\u00ebr t\u00eb pasur dhe t\u00eb shquar dhe q\u00eb n\u00eb mosh\u00eb t\u00eb re ai e donte mir\u00ebsin\u00eb e sht\u00ebpis\u00eb s\u00eb Zotit. Nj\u00eb dit\u00eb, gjat\u00eb Liturgjis\u00eb Hyjnore, ai d\u00ebgjoi dhjakun duke p\u00ebrkujtuar ata q\u00eb e duan bukurin\u00eb e tempullit t\u00eb Zotit. K\u00ebto fjal\u00eb i prek\u00ebn thell\u00eb zemr\u00ebn dhe sh\u00ebnuan rrug\u00ebn e jet\u00ebs s\u00eb tij. K\u00ebshtu ai ndau t\u00eb gjith\u00eb trash\u00ebgimin\u00eb e tij at\u00ebrore p\u00ebr t\u00eb dekoruar kish\u00ebn e Hyjlind\u00ebses s\u00eb Shenjt\u00eb n\u00eb Lavra ton Spilai. Me shpenzimet e tij, shum\u00eb sh\u00ebmb\u00eblltyra ishin veshur me ar dhe argjend, q\u00eb t\u00eb pasqyronin k\u00ebtu n\u00eb tok\u00eb di\u00e7ka nga lavdia e shenjtor\u00ebve n\u00eb qiell. Pastaj ai vet\u00eb u b\u00eb murg n\u00eb t\u00eb nj\u00ebjt\u00ebn laur\u00eb dhe filloi t&#x27;i zbukuronte shpirtin me virtytet. N\u00eb fillim t\u00eb jet\u00ebs s\u00eb vet t\u00eb vetmuar, ai ende nuk e kishte zot\u00ebruar luft\u00ebn me aritmetik\u00ebn. I ligu gjeti nj\u00eb moment t\u00eb p\u00ebrshtatsh\u00ebm dhe filloi t\u00eb dyshonte mbi t\u00eb p\u00ebr at\u00eb q\u00eb i kishte ofruar kish\u00ebs. Ai i tha se pa t\u00eb drejt\u00eb shpenzoi kaq shum\u00eb pasuri p\u00ebr imazhe dhe stoli, kur mund t&#x27;ua shp\u00ebrndante t\u00eb gjitha t\u00eb uriturve. Erazmus nuk e kuptoi se pas k\u00ebtyre mendimeve fshihej djalli dhe zilia e tij. Ai ra n\u00eb apati, humbi zellin e par\u00eb dhe filloi t\u00eb jetonte me nxitim dhe shkujdesje. Ai pushoi s\u00eb luftuari me lutjen, me agj\u00ebrimin dhe me bindjen ndaj et\u00ebrve t\u00eb manastirit. Igumeni dhe v\u00ebllez\u00ebrit u p\u00ebrpoq\u00ebn me dashuri ta mb\u00ebshtesnin dhe ta kthenin n\u00eb rrug\u00eb. Por fjal\u00ebt e tyre nuk i b\u00ebn\u00eb mir\u00eb, p\u00ebrkundrazi e acaruan m\u00eb shum\u00eb dhe ia thellonin agjitacionin. Pastaj ata pushuan s\u00eb foluri me t\u00eb dhe me lot filluan t&#x27;i luten Zotit p\u00ebr t\u00eb. Zoti filantrop kujtoi mundin e tij t\u00eb par\u00eb dhe dashurin\u00eb p\u00ebr tempullin e Hyjlind\u00ebs. K\u00ebshtu Zoti e lejoi murgun t\u00eb binte n\u00eb nj\u00eb s\u00ebmundje t\u00eb r\u00ebnd\u00eb dhe t\u00eb arrinte n\u00eb prag t\u00eb vdekjes. P\u00ebr shtat\u00eb dit\u00eb t\u00eb t\u00ebra Osh\u00ebnar shtrihej pa ndjenja n\u00eb shtrat, i paaft\u00eb p\u00ebr t\u00eb par\u00eb, i paaft\u00eb p\u00ebr t\u00eb folur, mezi merrte frym\u00eb. Dit\u00ebn e tet\u00eb, t\u00eb gjith\u00eb v\u00ebllez\u00ebrit e manastirit u mblodh\u00ebn rreth shtratit t\u00eb tij me zem\u00ebr t\u00eb r\u00ebnduar. Duke menduar se nuk i d\u00ebgjon m\u00eb, filluan t\u00eb thoshin mes tyre se shpirtin e mundojn\u00eb hidh\u00ebrimet e neglizhenc\u00ebs. Por befas njeriu q\u00eb po vdiste u ngrit, u ul n\u00eb dyshek dhe i shikoi me nj\u00eb v\u00ebshtrim t\u00eb qart\u00eb. Ai u rr\u00ebfeu atyre se me t\u00eb v\u00ebrtet\u00eb kishte jetuar me hijeshi dhe se vdekja e gjeti at\u00eb t\u00eb papenduar n\u00eb m\u00ebkatet e tij. Por ai u tha atyre se et\u00ebrit besnik\u00eb Anthony dhe Theodosios, themeluesit e Laura, iu shfaq\u00ebn atij. Ata i than\u00eb se iu lut\u00ebn Krishtit dhe mor\u00ebn p\u00ebr hir t\u00eb tij nj\u00eb koh\u00eb pendimi. Pas baballar\u00ebve t\u00eb shenjt\u00eb, murgut t\u00eb s\u00ebmur\u00eb i \u00ebsht\u00eb shfaqur vet\u00eb Zonja Hyjlind\u00ebse me nj\u00eb shk\u00eblqim t\u00eb pap\u00ebrshkruesh\u00ebm. Ai e pa at\u00eb pik\u00ebrisht ashtu si\u00e7 e p\u00ebrshkruajn\u00eb ikonograf\u00ebt, me Foshnj\u00ebn e parap\u00ebrjetshme n\u00eb krah\u00eb dhe nj\u00eb mori shenjtor\u00eb rreth saj. Ai i tha me \u00ebmb\u00eblsi se t\u00eb varf\u00ebrit do t&#x27;i ken\u00eb gjithmon\u00eb pran\u00eb dhe n\u00eb \u00e7do vend, nd\u00ebrsa tempujt e Zotit nuk jan\u00eb kudo. Ajo i premtoi atij se ashtu si ai e zbukuroi kish\u00ebn e saj me imazhe t\u00eb bukura, ashtu edhe ajo do ta zbukuronte at\u00eb n\u00eb mbret\u00ebrimin e Birit t\u00eb saj. Ai e nxiti t\u00eb ngrihej, t\u00eb pendohej sinqerisht dhe t\u00eb merrte form\u00ebn e madhe engj\u00ebllore. Ajo gjithashtu i tregoi se pas tre dit\u00ebsh do ta merrte tek ajo, sepse ai e donte dekorin e sht\u00ebpis\u00eb s\u00eb saj. Osh\u00ebnar Erasmus u ngrit menj\u00ebher\u00eb nga harresa e r\u00ebnd\u00eb e s\u00ebmundjes s\u00eb tij i gjall\u00eb dhe i ndritur. Para gjith\u00eb v\u00ebllaz\u00ebris\u00eb ai rr\u00ebfeu me lot, m\u00ebkatet e tij, pa turp dhe pa fshehur asgj\u00eb. M\u00eb pas ai shkoi n\u00eb kish\u00eb, ku ishte veshur me form\u00ebn e madhe engj\u00ebllore.
