Ai i b\u00ebrtiti qart\u00eb se dje u ngjit vet\u00eb dhe sot ishte radha e peshkopit t\u00eb ri t\u00eb ngjitej me t\u00eb. Sh\u00ebn u zgjua i shqet\u00ebsuar dhe menj\u00ebher\u00eb thirri pran\u00eb tij pleqt\u00eb dhe dhjak\u00ebt e kish\u00ebs. T\u00eb gjith\u00eb ata jetonin t\u00eb fshehur n\u00eb ato dit\u00eb, pasi mbreti pers Sapor kishte nisur nj\u00eb persekutim mizor kund\u00ebr t\u00eb krishter\u00ebve. Peshkopi ua tregoi me qet\u00ebsi vegimin dhe e interpretoi vet\u00eb kuptimin e tij. Fjal\u00ebt e Sh\u00ebn Simeonit, shpjegoi ai, treguan se paraardh\u00ebsi i tij ra martir vitin e kaluar, nd\u00ebrsa tani po i vjen ora e martirizimit. Ai nuk kishte fare frik\u00eb nga kjo shpallje profetike, n\u00eb fakt ai u g\u00ebzua thell\u00eb n\u00eb shpirt. Ai ndjeu se Krishti e meritonte t\u00eb ndiqte t\u00eb nj\u00ebjtat hapa t\u00eb paraardh\u00ebsit t\u00eb tij t\u00eb dashur. Q\u00eb nga ai moment ai po p\u00ebrgatitte n\u00eb heshtje veten dhe kopen\u00eb e tij p\u00ebr at\u00eb q\u00eb do t\u00eb ndodhte s\u00eb shpejti. Pastaj iu drejtua klerit dhe filloi t\u00eb fliste me fjal\u00eb plot besim dhe dashuri at\u00ebrore. Ai iu lut q\u00eb ta donin Zotin me gjith\u00eb shpirtin dhe forc\u00ebn e tyre, pa asnj\u00eb kompromis. Ai u k\u00ebrkoi atyre t\u00eb veshin armatur\u00ebn e besimit dhe t\u00eb mos struken p\u00ebrball\u00eb asnj\u00eb tundimi. N\u00ebse u k\u00ebrkohet t\u00eb vdesin, le t\u00eb vdesin si dishepuj t\u00eb p\u00ebrsosur t\u00eb Zotit, pa hezitim. Zotdash\u00ebsit ngjiten n\u00eb qiell, nd\u00ebrsa bot\u00ebdash\u00ebsit mbeten t\u00eb lidhur n\u00eb mjerimet e k\u00ebsaj bote. K\u00ebto fjal\u00eb ngurt\u00ebsuan zemrat e dishepujve t\u00eb tij. Menj\u00ebher\u00eb pas k\u00ebsaj, vet\u00eb mbreti Sapor mb\u00ebrriti n\u00eb qytetet persiane t\u00eb Salik dhe Ctesiphon p\u00ebr t\u00eb mbik\u00ebqyrur persekutimin. Shpif\u00ebsit u paraqit\u00ebn menj\u00ebher\u00eb para tij dhe akuzuan peshkopin Zadok me fjal\u00eb t\u00eb ashpra. Emri i tij do t\u00eb thoshte mik i mbretit dhe ai ishte v\u00ebrtet nj\u00eb mik i v\u00ebrtet\u00eb i mbretit qiellor Krisht. Ai u shqua p\u00ebr maturin\u00eb e madhe, drejt\u00ebsin\u00eb e v\u00ebrtet\u00eb dhe besimin e thell\u00eb n\u00eb Kish\u00eb. N\u00eb \u00e7do gj\u00eb ai imitoi besnik\u00ebrisht paraardh\u00ebsin e tij Simeon, fronin ipeshkvnor t\u00eb t\u00eb cilit e kishte arritur. Sapori d\u00ebrgoi ushtar\u00eb p\u00ebr ta arrestuar bashk\u00eb me gjith\u00eb klerin dhe besimtar\u00ebt. Gjithsej u kap\u00ebn nj\u00ebqind e nj\u00ebzet e tet\u00eb t\u00eb krishter\u00eb, mes tyre shum\u00eb murgj dhe n\u00ebnt\u00eb virgj\u00ebresha kushtuar Krishtit. I lidh\u00ebn me zinxhir\u00eb t\u00eb r\u00ebnd\u00eb hekuri dhe i hodh\u00ebn n\u00eb nj\u00eb burg t\u00eb err\u00ebt, plot er\u00eb t\u00eb keqe dhe tmerr. Aty q\u00ebndruan pes\u00eb muaj t\u00eb t\u00ebr\u00eb, duke vuajtur tortura t\u00eb padurueshme. Peshkopi Zadok iu p\u00ebrgjigj me guxim n\u00eb em\u00ebr t\u00eb t\u00eb gjith\u00eb v\u00ebllez\u00ebrve t\u00eb tij. Ai u shpjegoi atyre se t\u00eb krishter\u00ebt adhurojn\u00eb vet\u00ebm t\u00eb vetmin Zot t\u00eb v\u00ebrtet\u00eb, Krijuesin e qiellit dhe t\u00eb tok\u00ebs. Dielli dhe zjarri jan\u00eb struktura t\u00eb krijuara nga Zoti p\u00ebr t&#x27;i sh\u00ebrbyer njer\u00ebzve. Ata nuk kishin aspak frik\u00eb nga vdekja, pasi ajo hap der\u00ebn e Mbret\u00ebris\u00eb s\u00eb p\u00ebrjetshme t\u00eb Krishtit. Kur komanda mbret\u00ebrore erdhi p\u00ebr her\u00eb t\u00eb dyt\u00eb me k\u00ebrc\u00ebnime p\u00ebr nj\u00eb fund t\u00eb tmerrsh\u00ebm, Shenjtor\u00ebt u p\u00ebrgjigj\u00ebn sikur flisnin me nj\u00eb goj\u00eb. Ata than\u00eb se ata q\u00eb vdesin p\u00ebr Krishtin nuk humbasin, por fitojn\u00eb jet\u00eb t\u00eb v\u00ebrtet\u00eb dhe t\u00eb pafund. Mbreti u t\u00ebrbua nga q\u00ebndrueshm\u00ebria e tyre dhe urdh\u00ebroi t&#x27;u prisnin kok\u00ebn t\u00eb gjith\u00ebve jasht\u00eb qytetit. D\u00ebshmor\u00ebt e pranuan vendimin me g\u00ebzim dhe marshuan drejt vendit t\u00eb flijimit duke i k\u00ebnduar Zotit. Ata iu lut\u00ebn Zotit q\u00eb t&#x27;i gjykonte me drejt\u00ebsi dhe t&#x27;i \u00e7lironte nga njer\u00ebzit e mashtrimit dhe t\u00eb gjakut. Me t\u00eb mb\u00ebrritur n\u00eb vendin e ekzekutimit, t\u00eb gjith\u00eb s\u00eb bashku ngrit\u00ebn lutjen e fundit me nj\u00eb z\u00eb. Ata fal\u00ebnderuan Zotin q\u00eb i kualifikoi p\u00ebr t\u00eb mbajtur kuror\u00ebn m\u00eb t\u00eb \u00e7muar, at\u00eb t\u00eb martirizimit. Ata iu lut\u00ebn Zotit q\u00eb t&#x27;i lante me gjakun e tyre nga \u00e7do m\u00ebkat i jet\u00ebs s\u00eb tyre. Ata i k\u00ebrkuan Atij q\u00eb t\u00eb mos i braktiste n\u00eb pik\u00ebllimet e bot\u00ebs, por t&#x27;i lidhte p\u00ebrjet\u00ebsisht tek Ai. Nd\u00ebrsa shenjtor\u00ebt ende po lavd\u00ebronin Zotin, xhelat\u00ebt filluan t&#x27;i prisnin kok\u00ebn nj\u00eb nga nj\u00eb. Martir\u00ebt vazhduan t\u00eb lavd\u00ebrojn\u00eb emrin e shenjt\u00eb t\u00eb Krishtit deri n\u00eb frym\u00ebn e fundit. K\u00ebnga nuk u ndal para se koka e v\u00ebllait t\u00eb tyre t\u00eb fundit t\u00eb binte n\u00eb tok\u00eb. Peshkopi i nderuar Zadok u nda nga pjesa tjet\u00ebr e grupit t\u00eb tij me kujdes t\u00eb ve\u00e7ant\u00eb t\u00eb ushtar\u00ebve. E \u00e7uan t\u00eb lidhur me zinxhir\u00eb n\u00eb nj\u00eb qytet tjet\u00ebr, t\u00eb quajtur Bethlapat n\u00eb territorin Persian. Aty ia pren\u00eb me shpat\u00eb kok\u00ebn e ndershme dhe t\u00eb shenjt\u00eb hierarkut. K\u00ebshtu t\u00eb gjith\u00eb k\u00ebta martir\u00eb t\u00eb lavdish\u00ebm t\u00eb Krishtit p\u00ebrfunduan rrug\u00ebtimin e tyre n\u00eb paqe.
