Ai ishte nj\u00eb mbrojt\u00ebs i palodhur i Ortodoksis\u00eb kund\u00ebr Bogomil\u00ebve, Judaizuesve dhe Marsej\u00ebs s\u00eb koh\u00ebs s\u00eb tij. Osh\u00ebnar Theodosios filloi rrug\u00ebtimin e tij asketik n\u00eb qytetin e Vidinio, brenda manastirit t\u00eb Agios Nikolaos, duke k\u00ebrkuar udh\u00ebzim shpirt\u00ebror q\u00eb n\u00eb mosh\u00eb t\u00eb vog\u00ebl. Pasi igumeni Iob e zuri gjumi, ai u vendos n\u00eb af\u00ebrsi t\u00eb Turnov\u00ebs, at\u00ebher\u00eb kryeqyteti i Bullgaris\u00eb, n\u00eb manastirin e Hyjlind\u00ebses s\u00eb Shenjt\u00eb t\u00eb Malit Athos. N\u00eb at\u00eb hesikast t\u00eb madh ai gjeti m\u00eb n\u00eb fund udh\u00ebrr\u00ebfyesin me p\u00ebrvoj\u00eb t\u00eb jet\u00ebs teorike q\u00eb aq shum\u00eb d\u00ebshironte. Sh\u00ebn Gregori i m\u00ebsoi atij se para vdekjes ne jemi tashm\u00eb n\u00eb ferr dhe se kushdo q\u00eb nuk e pranon sinqerisht m\u00ebkatin e tij b\u00ebhet subjekt i demon\u00ebve. Manastiri i shkret\u00eb i Agios Gregorios Sinaitis vuante shpesh nga bastisjet e grabit\u00ebsve, t\u00eb cil\u00ebt k\u00ebrc\u00ebnonin jet\u00ebn e baballar\u00ebve. Igumeni, duke par\u00eb rrezikun, d\u00ebrgoi Sh\u00ebn Teodosin te Car Aleksandri i Bullgaris\u00eb p\u00ebr t&#x27;i k\u00ebrkuar mbrojtjen. Mbreti i devotsh\u00ebm e pranoi me respekt k\u00ebrkes\u00ebn e asketit dhe siguroi t\u00eb gjitha mjetet e nevojshme. K\u00ebshtu, manastiri ishte i rrethuar me mure t\u00eb forta dhe kulla t\u00eb forta, nd\u00ebrsa ishte i pajisur me tok\u00eb dhe kafsh\u00eb p\u00ebr mir\u00ebmbajtjen e tij. N\u00eb nj\u00eb nga udh\u00ebtimet e tij n\u00eb Turnov\u00eb, teksa po kryente misionin e abatit te cari, nj\u00eb i ri fisnik iu afrua me nj\u00eb k\u00ebrkes\u00eb t\u00eb zjarrt\u00eb. Ky ishte Romanosi, i cili do t\u00eb b\u00ebhej dishepulli i v\u00ebrtet\u00eb dhe i dashur i Sh\u00ebn Teodosit. Marr\u00ebdh\u00ebnia e tyre u tregua e thell\u00eb, e p\u00ebrzem\u00ebrt dhe e pathyeshme deri n\u00eb fund t\u00eb jet\u00ebs s\u00eb tyre tok\u00ebsore. Pas ngjitjes n\u00eb qiell t\u00eb Sh\u00ebn Grigorit t\u00eb Sinait, Osh\u00ebnar Theodosios refuzoi me p\u00ebrul\u00ebsi t\u00eb merrte abatin e manastirit.
