Pak m\u00eb von\u00eb, i nj\u00ebjti i ri ishte gjunj\u00ebzuar para nj\u00eb pun\u00ebtori t\u00eb vdekur dhe e ringjallte at\u00eb me fuqin\u00eb e lutjes s\u00eb tij. Ky ishte Parthenios, djali i dhjakut Kristofor nga Melitopolis n\u00eb Hellespont, n\u00eb vitet e Kostandinit t\u00eb Madh. Q\u00eb n\u00eb mosh\u00eb t\u00eb vog\u00ebl ai e donte kish\u00ebn dhe d\u00ebgjonte me v\u00ebmendje leximet e shenjta, k\u00ebshtu q\u00eb pak nga pak njohu t\u00eb gjitha Shkrimet si nj\u00eb gramatikant i madh. Kur nd\u00ebrtimi mbaroi, ai gjeti n\u00eb nj\u00eb shenjt\u00ebrore t\u00eb rr\u00ebnuar nj\u00eb gur t\u00eb madh mermeri, t\u00eb p\u00ebrshtatsh\u00ebm p\u00ebr tryez\u00ebn e shenjt\u00eb. Mjeshtrit e hip\u00ebn n\u00eb karroc\u00eb dhe i \u00e7uan qet\u00eb t\u00eb fort\u00eb p\u00ebr ta \u00e7uar n\u00eb tempull. T\u00eb s\u00ebmur\u00ebt pushuan s\u00eb drejtuari te mjek\u00ebt dhe kjo shkaktoi zilin\u00eb e tyre. Ashtu si drita largon err\u00ebsir\u00ebn, ashtu me pranin\u00eb e tij u larguan edhe demon\u00ebt. Gjith\u00e7ka ndodhi si\u00e7 tha ai, dhe kryepeshkopi i ri m\u00eb von\u00eb udh\u00ebtoi p\u00ebr n\u00eb Lampsacus me nj\u00eb anije me grur\u00eb, ver\u00eb dhe fruta, p\u00ebr t\u00eb fal\u00ebnderuar shenjtorin.
