Turqit e gjet\u00ebn n\u00eb at\u00eb gjendje dhe e detyruan t\u00eb konvertohej, por Zoti e m\u00ebshiroi dhe e ktheu n\u00eb sh\u00ebndet. Anastasi lindi dhe u rrit n\u00eb Nafplio, me mjesht\u00ebri t\u00eb madhe n\u00eb artin e piktur\u00ebs dhe i dashur nga bashk\u00ebqytetar\u00ebt e tij. Ai ishte fejuar me vajz\u00ebn e nj\u00eb t\u00eb krishteri t\u00eb qytetit, por pas disa dit\u00ebsh d\u00ebgjoi fjal\u00eb t\u00eb pak\u00ebndshme p\u00ebr moralin e saj. K\u00ebshtu ajo vendosi t\u00eb nd\u00ebrpres\u00eb fejes\u00ebn dhe t\u00eb largohet nga familja. T\u00eb af\u00ebrmit e vajz\u00ebs u t\u00ebrbuan nga refuzimi dhe iu drejtuan magjis\u00eb p\u00ebr ta b\u00ebr\u00eb at\u00eb ta dashuronte p\u00ebrs\u00ebri dhe ta merrte. I riu u hutua nga ndikimi i magjis\u00eb dhe endej pa q\u00ebllim n\u00ebp\u00ebr rrug\u00ebt e qytetit. Turqit shfryt\u00ebzuan imazhin e tij t\u00eb \u00e7uditsh\u00ebm dhe e bind\u00ebn t\u00eb pranonte fen\u00eb myslimane n\u00eb shtetin e tij. I vun\u00eb nj\u00eb sari t\u00eb bardh\u00eb n\u00eb kok\u00eb dhe ia paraqit\u00ebn bashk\u00ebfetar\u00ebve t\u00eb tyre si besimtar t\u00eb ri n\u00eb Islam. Por Zoti filantrop nuk e braktisi krijes\u00ebn e tij n\u00eb k\u00ebt\u00eb gabim t\u00eb err\u00ebt. Pas pak dit\u00ebsh, Zoti i erdhi keq p\u00ebr t\u00eb riun dhe i dha p\u00ebrs\u00ebri kthjellt\u00ebsin\u00eb e mendjes dhe sh\u00ebndetin e shpirtit. Kur Anastasi erdhi n\u00eb mendje, e kuptoi me tmerr se tani po paraqitej si turk n\u00eb syt\u00eb e bot\u00ebs. E kuptoi se n\u00eb kok\u00eb mbante sarin e bardh\u00eb t\u00eb nj\u00eb feje t\u00eb huaj dhe zemra i ishte mbushur me indinjat\u00eb. Ai hodhi menj\u00ebher\u00eb sarin p\u00ebrtok\u00eb n\u00eb shesh, p\u00ebrball\u00eb nj\u00eb turme turqish q\u00eb e rrethuan. Me nj\u00eb z\u00eb t\u00eb lart\u00eb dhe guxim t\u00eb admiruesh\u00ebm ai rr\u00ebfeu se ishte, \u00ebsht\u00eb dhe do t\u00eb mbetet p\u00ebrgjithmon\u00eb i krishter\u00eb. Turqit n\u00eb fillim u befasuan nga guximi i tij dhe p\u00ebr nj\u00ebfar\u00eb kohe mbet\u00ebn t\u00eb shtangur nga rr\u00ebfimi i tij. Kur e kuptuan kthimin e tij n\u00eb besim, u v\u00ebrsul\u00ebn mbi t\u00eb me t\u00ebrbim dhe klithma hakmarrjeje. Filluan ta godasin, ta shtynin dhe ta t\u00ebrhiqnin zvarr\u00eb me dhun\u00eb drejt vendit t\u00eb kriz\u00ebs. E soll\u00ebn t\u00eb lidhur dhe t\u00eb gjakosur para gjykat\u00ebsit turk, p\u00ebr t\u00eb k\u00ebrkuar falje p\u00ebr guximin e tij. Gjat\u00eb gjith\u00eb rrug\u00ebs i riu nuk pushoi s\u00eb p\u00ebrs\u00ebrituri me guxim emrin e Krishtit. Zemra i digjej nga d\u00ebshira p\u00ebr t\u00eb fshir\u00eb me gjakun e tij r\u00ebnien dhe mohimin e m\u00ebparsh\u00ebm. Gjyqtari e priti me qet\u00ebsi t\u00eb dukshme dhe u p\u00ebrpoq ta bindte me artifica e mashtrime. Ndonj\u00ebher\u00eb ajo e lajkatonte me premtime p\u00ebr pasuri, pozita dhe nj\u00eb jet\u00eb t\u00eb sigurt pran\u00eb t\u00eb fuqishm\u00ebve t\u00eb koh\u00ebs. Her\u00eb t\u00eb tjera e tmerronte me tortura mizore, vdekje martire dhe fund t\u00eb pandersh\u00ebm para bashk\u00ebqytetar\u00ebve. Anastas trimi nuk i kushtoi v\u00ebmendje asaj q\u00eb i than\u00eb persekutor\u00ebt e tij mizor\u00eb n\u00eb ato or\u00eb. Ai q\u00ebndroi i pal\u00ebkundur p\u00ebrpara gjykat\u00ebsit dhe rr\u00ebfeu n\u00eb m\u00ebnyr\u00eb sfiduese besimin e tij n\u00eb Zotin e v\u00ebrtet\u00eb. Ai tha se beson n\u00eb Zotin Jisu Krisht si krijues, shp\u00ebtimtar dhe mbrojt\u00ebs t\u00eb jet\u00ebs s\u00eb tij. Ai shtoi se ai e adhuron At\u00eb me gjith\u00eb zem\u00ebr dhe nuk do ta mohoj\u00eb m\u00eb At\u00eb. Ai gjithashtu deklaroi se nuk ka nevoj\u00eb p\u00ebr besimin n\u00eb Allahun dhe se e urrej at\u00eb me gjith\u00eb shpirt. Gjykat\u00ebsi u t\u00ebrbua nga q\u00ebndrueshm\u00ebria e t\u00eb riut dhe urdh\u00ebroi menj\u00ebher\u00eb prerjen e kok\u00ebs s\u00eb tij publike. Ai mendonte se nj\u00eb vdekje e shpejt\u00eb do t\u00eb jepte nj\u00eb shembull t\u00eb ashp\u00ebr p\u00ebr t\u00eb krishter\u00ebt e qytetit. Por fituesi i v\u00ebrtet\u00eb i asaj ore nuk ishte gjykat\u00ebsi i kriterit osman. Turqit nuk e kan\u00eb pritur ekzekutimin ligjor t\u00eb vendimit t\u00eb gjyqtarit p\u00ebr prerjen e kok\u00ebs. Sapo e nxor\u00ebn D\u00ebshmorin nga oborri, u v\u00ebrsul\u00ebn mbi t\u00eb me nj\u00eb eg\u00ebrsi dhe t\u00ebrbim t\u00eb pap\u00ebrshkruesh\u00ebm. Ata u kujtuan hebrenjve t\u00eb vjet\u00ebr q\u00eb e vran\u00eb me gur\u00eb martirin e par\u00eb Stefan n\u00eb dehjen e urrejtjes s\u00eb tyre. T\u00eb tjer\u00eb e rrah\u00ebn me shkopinj, t\u00eb tjer\u00eb me shpata dhe t\u00eb tjer\u00eb ia shpuan trupin me thika t\u00eb mprehta. Sipas burimeve t\u00eb tjera, martirizimi ka ndodhur nj\u00eb vit m\u00eb par\u00eb, n\u00eb t\u00eb nj\u00ebjtat periudha t\u00eb v\u00ebshtira t\u00eb skllav\u00ebris\u00eb. I bekuari Anastas mori nga atleti Krisht kuror\u00ebn e pavdekshme t\u00eb martirizimit si rr\u00ebfimtar besnik. Tani ajo g\u00ebzohet s\u00eb bashku me vallet e D\u00ebshmor\u00ebve n\u00eb lavdin\u00eb e Zotit Triuni dhe filantrop.
