Pik\u00ebrisht n\u00eb at\u00eb moment peshkopi Varsimaios q\u00ebndroi para tij dhe i kujtoi borxhin e r\u00ebnd\u00eb q\u00eb i kishte ndaj Zotit t\u00eb v\u00ebrtet\u00eb. Sarvilos jetoi n\u00eb vitet e perandorit Trajan, rreth nj\u00ebqind e pes\u00ebmb\u00ebdhjet\u00eb pas Krishtit, dhe mbajti nj\u00eb pozit\u00eb t\u00eb lart\u00eb midis prift\u00ebrinjve t\u00eb idhujve t\u00eb qytetit. Peshkopi i Edes\u00ebs e kishte thirrur shum\u00eb her\u00eb q\u00eb t\u00eb hiqte dor\u00eb nga adhurimi i per\u00ebndive t\u00eb rreme dhe t\u00eb njihte Krishtin. Tani ai i foli qart\u00eb atij p\u00ebr shpirtrat e panum\u00ebrt q\u00eb po i \u00e7onte n\u00eb humbje me pun\u00ebn e tij t\u00eb rreme prift\u00ebrore. Sarvilos ndjeu thell\u00eb brenda vetes hirin e Krishtit q\u00eb i preku zemr\u00ebn. Ceremonin\u00eb q\u00eb kishte nisur e p\u00ebrfundoi me v\u00ebshtir\u00ebsi, por brenda kishte ndryshuar tashm\u00eb gjith\u00e7ka. T\u00eb nes\u00ebrmen vrapoi dhe k\u00ebrkoi peshkopin, i cili ishte me motr\u00ebn e tij Bevia. I ra n\u00eb k\u00ebmb\u00eb dhe iu lut q\u00eb ta pag\u00ebzonte menj\u00ebher\u00eb, pa vones\u00eb. Lajmi p\u00ebr konvertimin e priftit pagan tronditi t\u00eb gjith\u00eb Edes\u00ebn dhe shkaktoi buj\u00eb t\u00eb madhe te krer\u00ebt e qytetit. S\u00eb bashku me Sarvilos, n\u00eb Krishtin besoi edhe motra e tij Bevaia, e cila me guxim ndoqi t\u00eb nj\u00ebjt\u00ebn rrug\u00eb t\u00eb rr\u00ebfimit. Sundimtari lokal Lisias e m\u00ebsoi shpejt k\u00ebt\u00eb fakt dhe urdh\u00ebroi menj\u00ebher\u00eb arrestimin e ish-priftit t\u00eb idhujve. E \u00e7uan p\u00ebrpara gjykat\u00ebs dhe filluan torturat e para t\u00eb tmerrshme. E rrah\u00ebn pa m\u00ebshir\u00eb me shkopinj, ia hoq\u00ebn fytyr\u00ebn me vegla t\u00eb mprehta dhe e zbrit\u00ebn gjysm\u00eb t\u00eb vdekur n\u00eb burg. Dy muaj m\u00eb von\u00eb, xhelat\u00ebt e nxor\u00ebn p\u00ebrs\u00ebri jasht\u00eb dhe i n\u00ebnshtruan torturave t\u00eb reja, m\u00eb t\u00eb tmerrshme. Por shenjtori q\u00ebndroi i pal\u00ebkundur, sikur shpirti i tij t\u00eb ishte tashm\u00eb n\u00eb qiej, larg \u00e7do dhimbjeje fizike. N\u00eb fund e d\u00ebnuan me nj\u00eb d\u00ebnim mizor me vdekje, i cili tejkaloi \u00e7do durim njer\u00ebzor. Ata urdh\u00ebruan q\u00eb ta sharronin m\u00eb dysh dhe pastaj t&#x27;i prisnin me shpat\u00eb kok\u00ebn e nderuar. M\u00eb pas ajo shtriu nj\u00eb leck\u00eb mbi trupin e ndersh\u00ebm t\u00eb v\u00ebllait t\u00eb saj, p\u00ebr t\u00eb mbledhur gjakun e tij t\u00eb shenjt\u00eb. Ajo tha me z\u00eb t\u00eb lart\u00eb se d\u00ebshironte q\u00eb shpirti i saj t\u00eb bashkohej me t\u00eb af\u00ebrmin e Krishtit, t\u00eb cilin e njihte dhe besonte me gjith\u00eb zem\u00ebr. Ata q\u00eb d\u00ebgjuan fjal\u00ebt e saj vrapuan menj\u00ebher\u00eb dhe i \u00e7uan te sundimtari mizor Lisias. Ai d\u00ebrgoi menj\u00ebher\u00eb ushtar\u00eb p\u00ebr t&#x27;ia prer\u00eb kok\u00ebn motr\u00ebs trime t\u00eb d\u00ebshmorit n\u00eb vend. K\u00ebshtu gjaku i Bevaias u p\u00ebrzie me gjakun e v\u00ebllait t\u00eb saj t\u00eb dashur n\u00eb t\u00eb nj\u00ebjt\u00ebn tok\u00eb. Shpirti i saj iu bashkua valles s\u00eb martir\u00ebve t\u00eb shenjt\u00eb n\u00eb mbret\u00ebrimin e Krishtit. M\u00eb von\u00eb t\u00eb krishter\u00ebt erdh\u00ebn fshehurazi, mblodh\u00ebn me nderim trupat e ndersh\u00ebm dhe i varros\u00ebn pran\u00eb varrit t\u00eb peshkopit Abselam.
