Kur sundimtari i t\u00ebrbuar k\u00ebrc\u00ebnoi se do t\u00eb prishte manastirin dhe do t&#x27;i hidhte Et\u00ebrit n\u00eb burg, Lavra u shp\u00ebtua vet\u00ebm fal\u00eb k\u00ebshill\u00ebs s\u00eb princesh\u00ebs, e cila kishte frik\u00eb nga zem\u00ebrimi i Zotit. I bekuari Efraimi ishte nj\u00eb burr\u00eb me origjin\u00eb fisnike dhe eunuk, ve\u00e7an\u00ebrisht i dashur p\u00ebr princin e madh t\u00eb Kievit. I lodhur nga zhurma e jet\u00ebs s\u00eb k\u00ebsaj bote, ai i k\u00ebrkoi Sh\u00ebn Antonit q\u00eb ta priste n\u00eb mesin e sh\u00ebrb\u00ebtor\u00ebve t\u00eb Mbretit Qiellor. Sh\u00ebn Antoni i dha atij nj\u00eb k\u00ebshill\u00eb shp\u00ebtimi dhe e ngarkoi t\u00eb bekuarin Nikona t&#x27;i jepte nj\u00eb prerje flok\u00ebsh murgu dhe ta vesh\u00eb n\u00eb form\u00ebn e engj\u00ebllit. Por armiku ziliqar nuk e duroi dot k\u00ebt\u00eb fitore t\u00eb rendit t\u00eb shenjt\u00eb brenda n\u00eb shpell\u00eb. Ajo ndezi zem\u00ebrimin e princit Iziaslav, k\u00ebshtu q\u00eb ai k\u00ebrkoi ashp\u00ebr kthimin e kujdestarit t\u00eb tij n\u00eb oborr. Nikoni u soll para sundimtarit dhe u kontrollua, nd\u00ebrsa i shenjt\u00eb Antoni dhe v\u00ebllez\u00ebrit u d\u00ebbuan nga shpella e dashur. Me ambasadat e Hyjlind\u00ebs dhe me nd\u00ebrmjet\u00ebsimin e princesh\u00ebs, shum\u00eb shpejt murgjit u kthyen n\u00eb Lavra fitimtar\u00eb kund\u00ebr tundimit djall\u00ebzor. M\u00eb pas Sh\u00ebn Efraimi iu p\u00ebrkushtua me zell m\u00eb t\u00eb madh lutjes, agj\u00ebrimit dhe vigjiljes gjith\u00eb nat\u00ebs n\u00eb shpell\u00ebn e shenjt\u00eb. Ai iu bind plakut t\u00eb tij Antonio n\u00eb gjith\u00e7ka dhe u p\u00ebrpoq t\u00eb imitonte \u00e7do virtyt t\u00eb babait t\u00eb tij shpirt\u00ebror. Ashtu si Antoni i shenjt\u00eb kishte udh\u00ebtuar dikur nga Rusia n\u00eb malin Athos, k\u00ebshtu Efraimi digjej nga d\u00ebshira p\u00ebr t\u00eb njohur vendet e shenjta. Ai donte t\u00eb shihte me syt\u00eb e tij jet\u00ebn engj\u00ebllore t\u00eb Et\u00ebrve t\u00eb shenjt\u00eb dhe t\u00eb frym\u00ebzohej nga p\u00ebrpjekjet e tyre t\u00eb virtytshme. K\u00ebshtu ai iu lut plakut q\u00eb t&#x27;i jepte bekimin p\u00ebr udh\u00ebtimin e gjat\u00eb n\u00eb tok\u00ebn greke. Sh\u00ebn Antoni nuk donte t&#x27;i hiqte rrog\u00ebn e mjeshtrit dhe e pushoi me nj\u00eb d\u00ebshir\u00eb, ashtu si Noeu e la dikur p\u00ebllumbin t\u00eb sillte deg\u00ebn e ullirit. Me dy krah\u00eb, bekimin dhe lutjen e t\u00eb atit shpirt\u00ebror, shenjtori u nis p\u00ebr n\u00eb Kostandinopoj\u00eb. Kudo gjat\u00eb rrug\u00ebs vizitonte vetmit\u00eb dhe e ushqente shpirtin me biseda shpirt\u00ebrore. Gjat\u00eb mbret\u00ebrimit, shenjtori u vonua mjaft, pasi nuk ngopej duke m\u00ebsuar nga eremit\u00ebt dhe njer\u00ebzit e shenjt\u00eb q\u00eb takoi. Kur e t\u00ebrhoqi dashuria p\u00ebr atdheun, nuk donte t\u00eb kthehej bosh n\u00eb ark\u00ebn e tij imagjinare. K\u00ebshtu ai kopjoi me kujdes standardin e shenjt\u00eb t\u00eb manastirit t\u00eb Studios dhe e solli at\u00eb si nj\u00eb thesar shpirt\u00ebror n\u00eb Manastirin e Shpellave t\u00eb Kievit. Pik\u00ebrisht p\u00ebr k\u00ebt\u00eb igumeni i bekuar Theodosios i kishte d\u00ebrguar nj\u00eb let\u00ebr n\u00eb em\u00ebr t\u00eb Sh\u00ebn Antonit. Sapo mori zyrtarin, Sh\u00ebn Teodosi e zbatoi menj\u00ebher\u00eb n\u00eb jet\u00ebn e v\u00ebllaz\u00ebris\u00eb me g\u00ebzim t\u00eb madh. Efraimi q\u00ebndroi p\u00ebr nj\u00eb koh\u00eb n\u00eb Lavra pas kthimit t\u00eb tij, por ai ishte shembull i shum\u00eb virtyteve p\u00ebr t\u00eb gjith\u00eb murgjit. T\u00eb gjith\u00eb lavd\u00ebruan Per\u00ebndin\u00eb p\u00ebr pranin\u00eb e nj\u00eb v\u00ebllai kaq t\u00eb bekuar n\u00eb mesin e tyre. N\u00eb at\u00eb koh\u00eb, peshkopi i bekuar i Pereyaslav Pjetrit ra n\u00eb gjum\u00eb dhe duhej nj\u00eb pastor i ri. Me p\u00eblqimin e t\u00eb gjith\u00ebve dhe d\u00ebshir\u00ebn e Princit t\u00eb Madh Vsevolod Yaroslavich, Efraimi i shenjt\u00eb u em\u00ebrua p\u00ebr vendin e ve. Ai u shugurua peshkop nga i nderuari Mitropoliti i Kievit Joani rreth nj\u00ebmij\u00eb e n\u00ebnt\u00ebdhjet\u00eb pas Krishtit. Duke marr\u00eb grad\u00ebn e madhe t\u00eb kryepriftit, shenjtori tregoi menj\u00ebher\u00eb zell t\u00eb zjarrt\u00eb p\u00ebr nd\u00ebrtimin e kishave n\u00eb dioqez\u00ebn e tij. Ai e konsideroi k\u00ebt\u00eb vep\u00ebr si detyr\u00ebn m\u00eb t\u00eb nderuar dhe m\u00eb t\u00eb \u00e7muar t\u00eb jet\u00ebs s\u00eb tij, me synimin p\u00ebr t\u00eb shum\u00ebfishuar lavdin\u00eb e emrit t\u00eb Zotit. Zoti bashk\u00ebpunoi qart\u00eb n\u00eb p\u00ebrpjekjet e tij, k\u00ebshtu q\u00eb n\u00eb vet\u00ebm pak vite u nd\u00ebrtuan vepra t\u00eb mrekullueshme. Ai nd\u00ebrtoi nj\u00eb tempull t\u00eb madh dhe madh\u00ebshtor prej guri p\u00ebr nder t\u00eb gjeneralit Michael, t\u00eb cilin e b\u00ebri katedralen e dioqez\u00ebs. Mbi port\u00ebn e hyrjes ai ngriti nj\u00eb tempull m\u00eb t\u00eb vog\u00ebl kushtuar Sh\u00ebn Theodorit p\u00ebr mbrojtjen e atyre q\u00eb hynin. Ai e dekoroi qytetin Pereyaslav edhe me nd\u00ebrtesa t\u00eb ndryshme kishtare prej guri, di\u00e7ka q\u00eb nuk ekzistonte n\u00eb ato an\u00eb. Shenjtori gjithashtu nd\u00ebrtoi bujtina p\u00ebr t\u00eb varf\u00ebrit dhe udh\u00ebtar\u00ebt, si dhe banja publike. T\u00eb gjitha k\u00ebto nd\u00ebrtesa t\u00eb lavdishme u shkat\u00ebrruan m\u00eb von\u00eb, kur sundimtari i pabes\u00eb tatar Batu sulmoi tok\u00ebn ruse si nj\u00eb pedagogji p\u00ebr m\u00ebkatet e njer\u00ebzve. Sh\u00ebn Efraimi fitoi nderim edhe m\u00eb t\u00eb madh gjat\u00eb sh\u00ebrbes\u00ebs s\u00eb tij kryeprift\u00ebrore n\u00eb dioqez\u00ebn e tij. Ai vet\u00eb mori pjes\u00eb n\u00eb mbledhjen e lavdishme t\u00eb relikteve t\u00eb shenjta t\u00eb atit ton\u00eb t\u00eb shenjt\u00eb Theodosios t\u00eb Shpellave, rreth nj\u00ebmij\u00eb e n\u00ebnt\u00ebdhjet\u00eb e nj\u00eb pas Krishtit. Ai jetoi me virtyt dhe per\u00ebndishm\u00ebri gjat\u00eb gjith\u00eb dit\u00ebve t\u00eb tij si bari besnik i kopes\u00eb s\u00eb tij racionale. Ai ra n\u00eb gjum\u00eb nga jeta e p\u00ebrkohshme n\u00eb vitin nj\u00eb mij\u00eb e n\u00ebnt\u00ebdhjet\u00eb e tet\u00eb pas Krishtit dhe shpirti i tij u ngjit n\u00eb fronin e pab\u00ebr\u00eb t\u00eb Despot Krishtit. M\u00eb von\u00eb u transferua n\u00eb t\u00eb nj\u00ebjtin vend dhe q\u00ebndron n\u00eb shpellat e larg\u00ebta t\u00eb Lavr\u00ebs s\u00eb Sh\u00ebn Antonit n\u00eb Kiev. Atij i atribuohet gjithashtu nj\u00eb histori n\u00eb lavd\u00ebrim t\u00eb Sh\u00ebn Nikoll\u00ebs s\u00eb \u00c7udib\u00ebr\u00ebsit. Kujtimi i tij nderohet nga Kisha m\u00eb nj\u00ebzet e tet\u00eb shtator, si dhe t\u00eb diel\u00ebn e dyt\u00eb t\u00eb Kreshm\u00ebs s\u00eb Madhe.
