N\u00eb Ankara t\u00eb Galatis\u00eb, kur ishte vet\u00ebm dymb\u00ebdhjet\u00eb vje\u00e7, ai d\u00ebgjoi nga n\u00ebna e tij Eufrosyne profecin\u00eb se do t\u00eb jepte gjakun e tij p\u00ebr Krishtin. Babai i tij ishte pagan dhe vdiq kur ai ishte ende n\u00eb djep. N\u00ebna e tij, pak para se t\u00eb ndahej nga jeta, i foli me lot p\u00ebr sprovat q\u00eb e prisnin. Nj\u00eb fisnike e devotshme e qytetit, Sofia, e adoptoi at\u00eb dhe e rriti me dashuri dhe frik\u00eb ndaj Zotit. Kur pati nj\u00eb zi t\u00eb tmerrshme buke n\u00eb Gali, shum\u00eb pagan\u00eb i braktis\u00ebn f\u00ebmij\u00ebt e tyre n\u00eb rrug\u00eb pa ushqim. Sophia i mblodhi k\u00ebta f\u00ebmij\u00eb t\u00eb pak\u00ebnaqur, nd\u00ebrsa Klementi i m\u00ebsoi dhe i p\u00ebrgatiti p\u00ebr pag\u00ebzimin e shenjt\u00eb. Shum\u00eb prej tyre m\u00eb von\u00eb u b\u00ebn\u00eb martir\u00eb t\u00eb Krishtit. K\u00ebshtu i riu Klemis filloi her\u00ebt t\u00eb mbillte fjal\u00ebn e besimit n\u00eb zemrat e jetim\u00ebve. Q\u00eb i vog\u00ebl agj\u00ebronte dhe falej si murg, pa shijuar mish, me ushqim vet\u00ebm buk\u00eb dhe uj\u00eb. U shugurua lexues, pastaj dhjak dhe n\u00eb mosh\u00ebn tet\u00ebmb\u00ebdhjet\u00eb vje\u00e7 u ngrit n\u00eb grad\u00ebn e presbiterit. Dy vjet m\u00eb von\u00eb Kisha e Ankaras\u00eb e b\u00ebri peshkop, edhe pse ishte vet\u00ebm nj\u00ebzet vje\u00e7. Kur shp\u00ebrtheu persekutimi i Dioklecianit, pagan\u00ebt e akuzuan peshkopin se i largonte njer\u00ebzit nga per\u00ebndit\u00eb. Prefekti Dometianos e arrestoi dhe u p\u00ebrpoq me lajka ta bindte t\u00eb b\u00ebnte flijime p\u00ebr idhujt. Megjithat\u00eb, shenjtori u p\u00ebrgjigj me p\u00ebrbuzje dhe rr\u00ebfeu Krishtin para t\u00eb gjith\u00ebve. Pastaj tirani e vari n\u00eb nj\u00eb pem\u00eb dhe urdh\u00ebroi t&#x27;i grisnin mishin me vegla hekuri, derisa t&#x27;i zbuloheshin t\u00eb brendshmet. Pastaj ia shtyp\u00ebn goj\u00ebn dhe dh\u00ebmb\u00ebt me gur\u00eb. Por shenjtori u p\u00ebrgjigj se dhuratat q\u00eb prisheshin i kujtonin atij lavdin\u00eb e t\u00eb mirave qiellore, nd\u00ebrsa instrumentet e dhun\u00ebs e b\u00ebn\u00eb t\u00eb frik\u00ebsohej m\u00eb shum\u00eb nga ferri i p\u00ebrjetsh\u00ebm. E lidh\u00ebn n\u00eb nj\u00eb rrot\u00eb dhe ia dogj\u00ebn mishin me pishtar\u00eb t\u00eb ndezur, por hiri i Zotit e sh\u00ebroi mrekullisht. Shum\u00eb pagan\u00eb besuan at\u00ebher\u00eb, duke b\u00ebrtitur se Zoti i t\u00eb krishter\u00ebve \u00ebsht\u00eb i madh dhe u burgos\u00ebn me t\u00eb. Po at\u00eb nat\u00eb nj\u00eb engj\u00ebll i Zotit i solli trupin jet\u00ebdh\u00ebn\u00ebs dhe gjakun e Krishtit. Pastaj e fshikulluan deri n\u00eb kock\u00eb dhe e dogj\u00ebn p\u00ebrs\u00ebri me pishtar\u00eb, por ai duroi sikur nuk p\u00ebsoi asgj\u00eb. Ai e shihte \u00e7do gj\u00eb si nderim t\u00eb Zotit t\u00eb tij dhe g\u00ebzim t\u00eb shpirtit t\u00eb tij n\u00eb mbret\u00ebrin\u00eb e qiejve. Diokleciani e d\u00ebrgoi n\u00eb Nikomedi te bashk\u00ebperandori Maksimian, duke shpresuar se ai do t\u00eb ishte n\u00eb gjendje ta p\u00ebrkulte. Nj\u00eb nga t\u00eb krishter\u00ebt e saposhkolluar, Agathangelos, u arratis fshehurazi nga burgu dhe hyri n\u00eb t\u00eb nj\u00ebjt\u00ebn anije, duke dashur t\u00eb d\u00ebshmonte p\u00ebr Krishtin. Q\u00eb nga ai moment dy shenjtor\u00ebt mbet\u00ebn shoq\u00ebrues t\u00eb pandar\u00eb n\u00eb \u00e7do sprov\u00eb. Kur nuk po torturoheshin, agj\u00ebronin dhe luteshin, ashtu si nj\u00eb engj\u00ebll i Zotit u sillte ushqim qiellor. N\u00eb Nikomedia, sundimtari Agripin i n\u00ebnshtroi ata n\u00eb tortura t\u00eb tmerrshme, derisa njer\u00ebzit u ngopur dhe filluan t\u00eb vrasin me gur\u00eb xhelat\u00ebt. Ata ua hodh\u00ebn kafsh\u00ebve, por kafsh\u00ebt iu afruan si qen t\u00eb zbutur. I lidh\u00ebn n\u00eb thas\u00eb me gur\u00eb t\u00eb r\u00ebnd\u00eb dhe i hodh\u00ebn nga shk\u00ebmbi n\u00eb det, por engj\u00ebjt e Zotit i \u00e7uan t\u00eb sigurt. Duke u kthyer n\u00eb qytet, ata sh\u00ebruan t\u00eb verb\u00ebrit, t\u00eb paralizuarit dhe t\u00eb pushtuarit me nj\u00eb prekje. Shum\u00eb pagan\u00eb q\u00eb p\u00ebrl\u00ebvdonin Zotin m\u00eb pas k\u00ebrkuan pag\u00ebzimin e shenjt\u00eb nga duart e tyre. Nga Nikomedia d\u00ebshmor\u00ebt u d\u00ebrguan n\u00eb Ankara, ku zoti Kirikios i priti me tortura t\u00eb reja t\u00eb tmerrshme. Ata dogj\u00ebn brinj\u00ebt e shenjtorit me pllaka hekuri t\u00eb ndezura dhe i vun\u00eb nj\u00eb p\u00ebrkrenare t\u00eb ndezur n\u00eb kok\u00eb, por ajo ngriu n\u00eb lutjen e tij. Sofia e p\u00ebrkushtuar arriti t\u00eb hynte nat\u00ebn n\u00eb burg, t&#x27;u lante plag\u00ebt dy shenjtor\u00ebve dhe t&#x27;i forconte me ushqim e ngush\u00ebllim. Prej andej u d\u00ebrguan n\u00eb Amiso, te mizori Dometius, i cili i hodhi n\u00eb nj\u00eb kazan me g\u00eblqere t\u00eb vluar, por ata mbet\u00ebn t\u00eb pad\u00ebmtuar. Dy ushtar\u00eb, Phigon dhe Eukarpius, at\u00ebher\u00eb besuan n\u00eb Krishtin dhe u vran\u00eb p\u00ebr hir t\u00eb tij. Pastaj shenjtor\u00ebt u d\u00ebrguan n\u00eb Tarsus, ku u shp\u00ebtuan nga nj\u00eb furr\u00eb e ndezur si tre f\u00ebmij\u00ebt e Babilonis\u00eb. N\u00eb shkret\u00ebtir\u00ebn e rrug\u00ebs, Klementi mori nj\u00eb zbules\u00eb se do t\u00eb d\u00ebshmonte p\u00ebr nj\u00ebzet e tet\u00eb vjet. Shenjtori u g\u00ebzua n\u00eb k\u00ebt\u00eb d\u00ebgjim, sepse d\u00ebshironte t\u00eb vuante sa m\u00eb shum\u00eb p\u00ebr Krishtin. K\u00ebshtu dashuria e tij tejkaloi \u00e7do q\u00ebndrueshm\u00ebri njer\u00ebzore. Ata kaluan nj\u00ebmb\u00ebdhjet\u00eb ekzekutime t\u00eb ndryshme, derisa n\u00ebn Maksiminus kthehen m\u00eb n\u00eb fund n\u00eb Ankaran\u00eb e dashur, te zoti Lukios. Atje Agathangjelos, pasi i shpuan vesh\u00ebt me unaza djeg\u00ebse dhe i dogj\u00ebn brinj\u00ebt, iu pre koka m\u00eb 5 n\u00ebntor. E bekuara Sofia e mb\u00ebshtolli reliktin me mirr\u00eb dhe e depozitoi n\u00eb nj\u00eb tempull t\u00eb n\u00ebndhesh\u00ebm n\u00eb nj\u00eb shpell\u00eb. Klementi vazhdoi i vet\u00ebm rrug\u00ebn e martirizimit, duke marr\u00eb \u00e7do dit\u00eb nj\u00ebqind e pes\u00ebdhjet\u00eb goditje n\u00eb fytyr\u00eb dhe kok\u00eb, nd\u00ebrsa nat\u00ebn engj\u00ebjt ia mbyllnin plag\u00ebt. Kur festa e Epifanis\u00eb po afrohej, Sofia arriti me ndihm\u00ebn e nj\u00eb ushtari t\u00eb krishter\u00eb t\u00eb fshehur ta \u00e7onte at\u00eb n\u00eb tempullin e n\u00ebndhesh\u00ebm. Aty shenjtori, i veshur me rroba t\u00eb bardha, mbajti nj\u00eb vigjilje dhe mori kungimin me t\u00eb gjith\u00eb besimtar\u00ebt. M\u00eb nj\u00ebzet e tre janar, nd\u00ebrsa peshkopi po ofronte flijimin pa gjak n\u00eb altar, pushtuan ushtar\u00ebt e sundimtarit t\u00eb ri Aleksandrit. Nj\u00ebri prej tyre nxori shpat\u00ebn dhe ia preu kok\u00ebn mbi tryez\u00ebn e shenjt\u00eb, nd\u00ebrsa t\u00eb dy dhjak\u00ebt Christophoros dhe Chariton u vran\u00eb.
