Gjuetar\u00ebt mb\u00ebrrit\u00ebn n\u00eb at\u00eb vend, t\u00eb udh\u00ebhequr nga lehja e qenve dhe nga nj\u00eb dor\u00eb misterioze q\u00eb i afronte. Sh\u00ebn Antoni i Ri vinte nga nj\u00eb familje e pasur dhe e devotshme e Veris\u00eb dhe jetoi n\u00eb shekullin e n\u00ebnt\u00eb pas Krishtit. Q\u00eb n\u00eb mosh\u00eb t\u00eb re ai k\u00ebrkoi jet\u00ebn e vetmuar dhe shkoi n\u00eb vetmin\u00eb e vendosur pran\u00eb lugin\u00ebs s\u00eb lumit Aliakmonas. Atje ai kaloi plot nj\u00ebzet vjet st\u00ebrvitje t\u00eb v\u00ebshtir\u00eb, duke m\u00ebsuar bindje dhe lutje. Kur u pjekur shpirt\u00ebrisht, mori d\u00ebshir\u00ebn e abatit dhe u t\u00ebrhoq n\u00eb nj\u00eb shpell\u00eb t\u00eb shkret\u00eb, p\u00ebr t\u00eb gjetur paqen m\u00eb t\u00eb thell\u00eb. N\u00eb at\u00eb shpell\u00eb ai luftoi p\u00ebr pes\u00ebdhjet\u00eb e kat\u00ebr vjet me agj\u00ebrim t\u00eb rrept\u00eb dhe lutje t\u00eb pand\u00ebrprer\u00eb. Kisha e nderoi si nj\u00eb asket t\u00eb madh dhe e quajti Neo, duke iu referuar m\u00ebsuesit m\u00eb t\u00eb vjet\u00ebr t\u00eb shkret\u00ebtir\u00ebs, \u200b\u200bAntonit t\u00eb Madh. Ai u nis i qet\u00eb p\u00ebr n\u00eb parajs\u00eb n\u00eb mosh\u00ebn n\u00ebnt\u00ebdhjet\u00eb e kat\u00ebr vje\u00e7, duke l\u00ebn\u00eb pas vetes nj\u00eb reputacion p\u00ebr shenjt\u00ebri. Brenda shpell\u00ebs, shenjtori p\u00ebrjetoi k\u00ebnaq\u00ebsin\u00eb e pap\u00ebrs\u00ebritshme t\u00eb abstinenc\u00ebs dhe agj\u00ebrimit sfilit\u00ebs, me t\u00eb cilin mposhti t\u00eb gjitha pasionet e trupit. Ai hante vet\u00ebm nj\u00eb her\u00eb n\u00eb jav\u00eb barishtet e pakta q\u00eb rriteshin p\u00ebrreth shpell\u00ebs dhe k\u00ebshtu shmangte \u00e7do rast krenarie. Fama e tij u p\u00ebrhap shpejt n\u00eb t\u00eb gjith\u00eb rajonin dhe turma besimtar\u00ebsh u dynd\u00ebn drejt tij p\u00ebr t\u00eb marr\u00eb bekimin e tij. Por shenjtori e donte mbi t\u00eb gjitha qet\u00ebsin\u00eb absolute, at\u00eb q\u00eb ngre shpirtin e njeriut drejt Zotit. P\u00ebr k\u00ebt\u00eb arsye ai braktisi shpell\u00ebn e tij t\u00eb dashur dhe u t\u00ebrhoq n\u00eb nj\u00eb vend edhe m\u00eb t\u00eb shkret\u00eb, pran\u00eb lumit. Atje ai jetoi n\u00eb g\u00ebmusha t\u00eb dendura, pa asnj\u00eb rehati njer\u00ebzore dhe pa ndonj\u00eb strehim t\u00eb ashp\u00ebr. Ai duroi me k\u00ebnaq\u00ebsi vap\u00ebn e dit\u00ebs dhe t\u00eb ftohtin e eg\u00ebr t\u00eb nat\u00ebs, p\u00ebr dashurin\u00eb e Zotit. Por vuajtja e st\u00ebrvitjes s\u00eb gjat\u00eb dhe rigoroze e pushtoi ngadal\u00eb trupin e tij t\u00eb plakur. K\u00ebshtu ai u detyrua t\u00eb kthehej n\u00eb shpell\u00eb, ku kishte kaluar vitet e hershme si vetmitar. Aty priti deri n\u00eb pleq\u00ebri vizitat e besimtar\u00ebve t\u00eb Veris\u00eb dhe t\u00eb zon\u00ebs m\u00eb gjer\u00eb. Kur kuptoi se fundi i tij ishte af\u00ebr, pak para Krishtlindjes, iu lut t\u00eb gjith\u00ebve q\u00eb e vizitonin ta linin t\u00eb qet\u00eb. M\u00eb pas ai njoftoi nj\u00eb prift q\u00eb t&#x27;i tregonte misteret e shenjta si furnizim t\u00eb jet\u00ebs s\u00eb p\u00ebrjetshme. Dit\u00ebn e par\u00eb t\u00eb janarit, plaku shtrihej me p\u00ebrul\u00ebsi n\u00eb tok\u00ebn e shpell\u00ebs s\u00eb tij. Ai k\u00ebndoi me nj\u00eb z\u00eb t\u00eb dob\u00ebt himnet aktuale t\u00eb Kish\u00ebs, kryq\u00ebzoi duart dhe ia dor\u00ebzoi n\u00eb paqe shpirtin Zotit. Trupi i tij mbeti i pakorruptuesh\u00ebm p\u00ebr gjasht\u00ebmb\u00ebdhjet\u00eb dit\u00eb, nd\u00ebrsa nj\u00eb llamb\u00eb qiellore ndri\u00e7onte pand\u00ebrprer\u00eb vendin e tij t\u00eb gjumit. M\u00eb pas, nj\u00eb Beroean i pasur u ngjit n\u00eb mal me nj\u00eb turm\u00eb t\u00eb madhe, p\u00ebr t\u00eb gjuajtur n\u00eb rajonet malore. Gjuetar\u00ebt u \u00e7uan n\u00eb shpell\u00eb nga lehja e fort\u00eb e qenve dhe nga nj\u00eb dor\u00eb misterioze q\u00eb u b\u00ebnte shenj\u00eb nga lart. Ata e gjet\u00ebn shenjtorin t\u00eb lar\u00eb n\u00eb drit\u00ebn hyjnore, t\u00eb pad\u00ebmtuar dhe plot arom\u00eb qiellore. Ata njoftuan menj\u00ebher\u00eb kryepriftin e qytetit, i cili mblodhi klerin dhe popullin me llamba dhe temjan. Kur u ngrit nj\u00eb mosmarr\u00ebveshje p\u00ebr vendin e varrimit, ata e vendos\u00ebn reliktin e nderuar n\u00eb nj\u00eb karroc\u00eb t\u00eb t\u00ebrhequr nga qet\u00eb. Karroca filloi t\u00eb rrotullohej vet\u00eb n\u00ebp\u00ebr fshatrat p\u00ebrreth t\u00eb Veris\u00eb, duke i dh\u00ebn\u00eb bekimin e shenjtorit n\u00eb \u00e7do vend. Ai kaloi n\u00ebp\u00ebr Kouloura, Diavatos, Rapsomaniki, Xehasen dhe Stavros dhe emrat e k\u00ebtyre fshatrave u lidh\u00ebn p\u00ebrgjithmon\u00eb me kalimin e shenjtorit. M\u00eb n\u00eb fund qet\u00eb u ndal\u00ebn n\u00eb oborrin e tempullit t\u00eb shenjt\u00eb t\u00eb Hyjlind\u00ebs Kamariotissa, n\u00eb Veroia. Pik\u00ebrisht aty, pran\u00eb nj\u00eb mani t\u00eb vjet\u00ebr, ishte dikur sht\u00ebpia st\u00ebrgjyshore e Sh\u00ebn Antonit. N\u00eb k\u00ebt\u00eb vend t\u00eb shenjt\u00eb u varros me nderime dhe lot nderimi ati yn\u00eb i shenjt\u00eb Antonios i Riu. Pas sh\u00ebrimit, eshtrat e tij u vendos\u00ebn n\u00eb nj\u00eb altar brenda tempullit t\u00eb Hyjlind\u00ebs Kamariotissa. Q\u00eb nga ai moment shenjtori filloi t\u00eb nderohej si mbrojt\u00ebs dhe mbrojt\u00ebs i Veris\u00eb.
