Ai u b\u00eb Patriarku i Aleksandris\u00eb dhe udh\u00ebtoi deri n\u00eb Rusi dhe Moldavi p\u00ebr t\u00eb shp\u00ebtuar fronin e luftuar t\u00eb ungjilltarit Marku. Kur donte t\u00eb kthehej n\u00eb atdhe, Kreta tashm\u00eb kishte r\u00ebn\u00eb n\u00eb duart e turqve dhe rruga ishte mbyllur. K\u00ebshtu studiuesi i ri iu drejtua vendeve greke t\u00eb Lindjes kontinentale, p\u00ebr t&#x27;i ofruar Kish\u00ebs talentet e tij. Kaisarios Dapontes v\u00ebren se interpretuesi i madh Alexandros Mavrokordatos e promovoi Gerasimiin e men\u00e7ur nga Kastoria n\u00eb Adrianopoj\u00eb.
