Nga ajo heshtje ai shkroi mij\u00ebra letra q\u00eb u b\u00ebn\u00eb nj\u00eb thesar shpirt\u00ebror i pa\u00e7muar p\u00ebr besimin ortodoks. Ai lindi m\u00eb 10 janar 1815, n\u00eb fshatin Chernavska, provinca Orlov, Rusi. Emri i tij laik ishte George Govorov dhe babai i tij sh\u00ebrbeu si prift n\u00eb famullin\u00eb e tyre. Q\u00eb n\u00eb mosh\u00eb t\u00eb re ai ndjeu thell\u00eb hijeshin\u00eb e mjedisit t\u00eb kish\u00ebs, me imazhet e shenjta, k\u00ebng\u00ebt dhe sh\u00ebrbesat e shenjta. M\u00eb von\u00eb ai shkroi se kjo atmosfer\u00eb \u00ebsht\u00eb faktori m\u00eb i fuqish\u00ebm p\u00ebr edukimin e duhur t\u00eb shpirtit t\u00eb f\u00ebmij\u00ebs. Ai studioi n\u00eb seminarin kishtar t\u00eb vendlindjes s\u00eb tij dhe m\u00eb pas studioi n\u00eb akademin\u00eb teologjike n\u00eb Kiev. Por ajo q\u00eb ishte gdhendur m\u00eb thell\u00eb tek ai ishin vizitat pelegrinazhi n\u00eb Lavr\u00ebn e famshme t\u00eb Shpellave t\u00eb Kievit. Aty ndjeu p\u00ebr her\u00eb t\u00eb par\u00eb prirjen e vetmuar q\u00eb do t\u00eb p\u00ebrcaktonte gjith\u00eb jet\u00ebn e tij. M\u00eb 1841 u b\u00eb murg dhe mori emrin e ri Theofanis, duke nisur nj\u00eb rrug\u00eb t\u00eb re shenjt\u00ebrimi. Pak m\u00eb von\u00eb ai u shugurua dhjak dhe plak dhe u em\u00ebrua profesor n\u00eb shkollat \u200b\u200bkishtare t\u00eb Kievit dhe Novgorodit. M\u00eb pas ai mori detyr\u00ebn e dekanit n\u00eb Akademin\u00eb Teologjike t\u00eb Sh\u00ebn Pjetrisburgut, me shum\u00eb p\u00ebrgjegj\u00ebsi dhe nder. Baza e m\u00ebsimit t\u00eb tij t\u00eb krishter\u00eb ishte dashuria, nd\u00ebrsa mjetet e shp\u00ebtimit ishin Kisha dhe Misteret e Shenjta. Ai ishte nj\u00eb m\u00ebsues i madh dhe dinte t\u00eb fitonte zemrat e nx\u00ebn\u00ebsve t\u00eb tij me respekt dhe but\u00ebsi. Ai e ndjeu thell\u00eb bukurin\u00eb dhe r\u00ebnd\u00ebsin\u00eb e misionit t\u00eb tij dhe tha se nga t\u00eb gjitha veprat e shenjta m\u00eb e shenjta \u00ebsht\u00eb edukimi. D\u00ebshira e tij p\u00ebr p\u00ebrkushtim t\u00eb plot\u00eb ndaj Zotit e \u00e7oi n\u00eb Tok\u00ebn e Shenjt\u00eb, n\u00eb rrug\u00ebn e k\u00ebrkimit shpirt\u00ebror. Ai vizitoi shum\u00eb manastire dhe vetmia n\u00eb Palestin\u00eb dhe q\u00ebndroi p\u00ebr ca koh\u00eb n\u00eb Lavr\u00ebn e Sh\u00ebn Sava. Atje ai takoi vetmitarin Jozef dhe iu m\u00ebsua tradit\u00ebn e Et\u00ebrve t\u00eb Lindjes. Kur u kthye n\u00eb Rusi, dashuria p\u00ebr Lindjen e t\u00ebrhoqi p\u00ebrs\u00ebri, n\u00eb Kostandinopoj\u00eb. Atje sh\u00ebrbeu si kapelan i ambasad\u00ebs ruse, duke jetuar n\u00eb t\u00eb nj\u00ebjt\u00ebn koh\u00eb tradit\u00ebn orthodhokse. N\u00eb 1857 ai u riem\u00ebrua profesor dhe dekan i akademis\u00eb teologjike, por shpejt dha dor\u00ebheqjen nga posti. Ai preferoi sh\u00ebrbimin m\u00eb t\u00eb p\u00ebrulur t\u00eb inspektorit t\u00eb shkollave fetare t\u00eb Sh\u00ebn Pjetrisburgut, duke k\u00ebrkuar nj\u00eb thjesht\u00ebsi m\u00eb t\u00eb madhe. Por Kisha e em\u00ebroi me p\u00ebrgjegj\u00ebsi t\u00eb madhe ipeshk\u00ebv t\u00eb provinc\u00ebs s\u00eb Tambovit dhe m\u00eb von\u00eb t\u00eb krahin\u00ebs s\u00eb Vladimirit. Nj\u00eb biograf shkruan se ai ishte nj\u00eb bari i v\u00ebrtet\u00eb n\u00eb mes t\u00eb nj\u00eb populli q\u00eb nuk e njihte mir\u00eb Zotin. Ai vet\u00eb u b\u00eb model p\u00ebr klerin e tij dhe ia kushtoi gjith\u00eb shpirtin misionit t\u00eb tij, ve\u00e7an\u00ebrisht predikimit. Ai jetonte shum\u00eb thjesht\u00eb dhe i merrte or\u00ebt e tij t\u00eb alternuara me studimin dhe lutjen. Ai gjithmon\u00eb kujdesej q\u00eb marr\u00ebdh\u00ebniet e tij t&#x27;i b\u00ebnte m\u00eb t\u00eb ngushta dhe m\u00eb t\u00eb p\u00ebrzem\u00ebrta me besimtar\u00ebt e krahin\u00ebs s\u00eb tij. Ai nuk donte asgj\u00eb q\u00eb t&#x27;i pengonte njer\u00ebzit t&#x27;i afroheshin peshkopit t\u00eb tyre. Nj\u00eb mij\u00eb e tet\u00ebqind e gjasht\u00ebdhjet\u00eb e nj\u00eb mor\u00ebn pjes\u00eb aktive n\u00eb ceremonin\u00eb e marrjes s\u00eb relikteve t\u00eb shenjta t\u00eb Sh\u00ebn Tycho t\u00eb Zadoskut. Kur donte t\u00eb pushonte, iu drejtua pun\u00ebs fizike dhe nuk rrinte kurr\u00eb kot. Pjesa m\u00eb e madhe e jet\u00ebs s\u00eb tij t\u00eb burgosur iu kushtua korrespondenc\u00ebs me mij\u00ebra besimtar\u00eb nga e gjith\u00eb Rusia. Ai gjithashtu i kushtoi nj\u00eb r\u00ebnd\u00ebsi t\u00eb madhe jet\u00ebs sakramentale dhe i konsideroi Rr\u00ebfimin dhe Kungimin e Shenjt\u00eb si mjete thelb\u00ebsore t\u00eb p\u00ebrfundimit.
