Ai iu lut Zotit q\u00eb ta varroste me t\u00eb nj\u00ebjtat rroba q\u00eb kishte veshur, q\u00eb askush t\u00eb mos e shihte trupin e tij as n\u00eb fund. Osh\u00ebnar Eudokimos erdhi nga Kapadokia dhe jetoi gjat\u00eb sundimit t\u00eb perandorit Teofili, n\u00eb shekullin e n\u00ebnt\u00eb pas Krishtit. Prind\u00ebrit e tij Vasilios dhe Evdokia ishin t\u00eb krishter\u00eb t\u00eb pasur dhe t\u00eb devotsh\u00ebm, t\u00eb njohur n\u00eb oborrin e pallatit. Ata e rrit\u00ebn me dashuri p\u00ebr Krishtin dhe respekt p\u00ebr urdh\u00ebrimet e Ungjillit q\u00eb n\u00eb f\u00ebmij\u00ebrin\u00eb e hershme. Q\u00eb n\u00eb mosh\u00eb t\u00eb vog\u00ebl u dallua p\u00ebr etik\u00ebn, urt\u00ebsin\u00eb dhe besimin e thell\u00eb q\u00eb i lindi n\u00eb shpirt. N\u00eb p\u00ebshtjellimin dhe kot\u00ebsin\u00eb e bot\u00ebs ai ishte si nj\u00eb zambak midis gjembave ose ari n\u00eb zjarr. Perandori Theophilus vler\u00ebsoi virtytin dhe dhuntit\u00eb e tij dhe e vendosi at\u00eb n\u00eb krye t\u00eb ushtris\u00eb Kapadokiane. M\u00eb von\u00eb ai e d\u00ebrgoi at\u00eb si komandant n\u00eb vendin Harsian p\u00ebr t\u00eb sunduar njer\u00ebzit me drejt\u00ebsi dhe but\u00ebsi. Pasi fal\u00ebnderoi Zotin p\u00ebr gjith\u00e7ka, ai tha: &#8220;N\u00eb duart e tua, Zot, un\u00eb e l\u00eb shpirtin tim&#8221;. Me k\u00ebto fjal\u00eb ai e dor\u00ebzoi shpirtin dhe njer\u00ebzit e tij e varros\u00ebn pik\u00ebrisht ashtu si\u00e7 i kishte urdh\u00ebruar. Menj\u00ebher\u00eb pas varrimit, n\u00eb varrin e tij filluan t\u00eb ndodhin sh\u00ebrime t\u00eb mrekullueshme p\u00ebr pacient\u00ebt q\u00eb iu afruan.
