I nj\u00ebjti prift e \u00e7oi t\u00eb riun pagan Pantoleon te Krishti, d\u00ebshmor i madh i m\u00ebvonsh\u00ebm Pandelimoni i Kish\u00ebs son\u00eb. S\u00eb bashku me bashk\u00ebministrat Hermippus dhe Hermocrates, ata formuan mbetjen e vog\u00ebl t\u00eb prift\u00ebrinjve q\u00eb u shp\u00ebtuan nga zjarri i perandorit Maximian. Ata u fsheh\u00ebn n\u00eb pjes\u00eb t\u00eb izoluara t\u00eb qytetit, nga frika e zem\u00ebrimit t\u00eb persekutor\u00ebve t\u00eb besimit t\u00eb krishter\u00eb. Megjithat\u00eb, ata nuk e pushuan kurr\u00eb predikimin e Ungjillit, ku rasti e lejoi me siguri. Ai takim ndryshoi jo vet\u00ebm jet\u00ebn e t\u00eb riut, por edhe historin\u00eb e kish\u00ebs martire t\u00eb Nikomedis\u00eb. N\u00eb sht\u00ebpin\u00eb e Hermolaus, filloi nj\u00eb bised\u00eb e frym\u00ebzuar hyjnore q\u00eb sh\u00ebnoi shpirtin e Pantoleonit t\u00eb ri p\u00ebrgjithmon\u00eb. Prifti i men\u00e7ur i shpjegoi me durim gabimin dhe kot\u00ebsin\u00eb e adhurimit t\u00eb idhujve dhe per\u00ebndive t\u00eb rreme. Ai i zbuloi t\u00eb v\u00ebrtet\u00ebn e gjall\u00eb t\u00eb Krishtit dhe shp\u00ebtimin q\u00eb i vetmi Per\u00ebndi i v\u00ebrtet\u00eb u jep njer\u00ebzve. Q\u00eb nga ajo dit\u00eb, i riu vizitonte Hermolaos \u00e7do dit\u00eb, i etur p\u00ebr fjal\u00ebt e besimit dhe t\u00eb jet\u00ebs s\u00eb p\u00ebrjetshme. Pas disa takimeve, Hermolaos e pag\u00ebzoi si t\u00eb krishter\u00eb n\u00eb streh\u00ebn e tij t\u00eb p\u00ebrulur. Marr\u00ebdh\u00ebnia shpirt\u00ebrore mes m\u00ebsuesit dhe nx\u00ebn\u00ebsit u b\u00eb e thell\u00eb dhe e pazgjidhshme, si nj\u00eb marr\u00ebdh\u00ebnie shpirt\u00ebrore bab\u00eb-bir. Kur shp\u00ebrtheu persekutimi i tmerrsh\u00ebm kund\u00ebr Pandelimoniit nga perandori mizor Maximian, mjeku i ri u \u00e7ua i lidhur para gjykat\u00ebsve t\u00eb tij. Ky rr\u00ebfim ka sjell\u00eb arrestimin e t\u00eb moshuarit. Menj\u00ebher\u00eb ushtar\u00ebt vrapuan drejt vendit ku fshihej Ermolaus dhe e arrestuan pa asnj\u00eb rezistenc\u00eb nga ana e tij. Nj\u00eb nat\u00eb m\u00eb par\u00eb, vet\u00eb Zoti Jezu Krisht iu shfaq priftit t\u00eb nderuar n\u00eb drit\u00ebn hyjnore. Ai i tregoi se t\u00eb nes\u00ebrmen do t\u00eb d\u00ebshmonte p\u00ebr emrin e Tij dhe do t\u00eb merrte kuror\u00ebn e d\u00ebshmorit. Kur miqt\u00eb dhe bashk\u00ebpun\u00ebtor\u00ebt e tij Hermippus dhe Hermocrates mor\u00ebn vesh p\u00ebr arrestimin e v\u00ebllait t\u00eb tyre shpirt\u00ebror, ata nuk hezituan fare. Ata ndoq\u00ebn me d\u00ebshir\u00eb Hermolaos p\u00ebrpara gjykat\u00ebs s\u00eb gjykat\u00ebsit t\u00eb ashp\u00ebr t\u00eb Nikomedias. Kur gjyqtari i pyeti pse erdh\u00ebn n\u00eb gjykat\u00ebn e tij t\u00eb paftuar, ata u p\u00ebrgjigj\u00ebn me guxim t\u00eb admiruesh\u00ebm. Ata deklaruan se ishin ushtar\u00eb n\u00ebn flamurin e Krishtit dhe bashk\u00ebluft\u00ebtar\u00eb t\u00eb Hermolaus n\u00eb luft\u00ebn shpirt\u00ebrore. Ata madje u lut\u00ebn q\u00eb t\u00eb kishin nj\u00eb vdekje t\u00eb p\u00ebrbashk\u00ebt, pasi kishin kaluar t\u00eb gjith\u00eb jet\u00ebn e tyre v\u00ebllaz\u00ebrore s\u00eb bashku n\u00eb prift\u00ebri. Kjo p\u00ebrgjigje e guximshme, n\u00eb vend q\u00eb ta prekte gjyqtarin zem\u00ebrgur, ndezi akoma m\u00eb shum\u00eb zem\u00ebrimin e tij kund\u00ebr t\u00eb treve. Ai urdh\u00ebroi menj\u00ebher\u00eb q\u00eb t\u00eb fillonin torturat e tmerrshme kund\u00ebr tre prift\u00ebrinjve t\u00eb Krishtit. T\u00eb tre rr\u00ebfimtar\u00ebt q\u00ebndruan me guxim p\u00ebrpara gjykat\u00ebsve pagan\u00eb dhe rr\u00ebfyen Krishtin si Per\u00ebndin\u00eb e v\u00ebrtet\u00eb. Ata tall\u00ebn fuqish\u00ebm idhujt e pajet\u00eb dhe kontrolluan gabimin e atyre q\u00eb adhuronin per\u00ebndit\u00eb e rreme t\u00eb asaj kohe. Pastaj ndodhi nj\u00eb gj\u00eb e madhe dhe e mrekullueshme q\u00eb tronditi gjith\u00eb qytetin e Nikomedis\u00eb. Shenjtoret i duruan me trimeri te gjitha martirizimet, duke mos u lekundur asnjehere nga besimi i tyre ne Krishtin. K\u00ebshtu, duke sakrifikuar kokat e tyre t\u00eb nderuara, ata fituan \u00e7mimet e pavdekshme t\u00eb Mbret\u00ebris\u00eb Qiellore.
