Riorganizimi i tempullit u vazhdua nga shum\u00eb perandor\u00eb, t\u00eb cil\u00ebt me donacione dhe interesa personale mb\u00ebshtet\u00ebn k\u00ebt\u00eb qend\u00ebr t\u00eb shk\u00eblqyer t\u00eb adhurimit t\u00eb Virgj\u00ebresh\u00ebs. Nj\u00eb e re nga Heraklioni zbulon madh\u00ebsin\u00eb e nevojave liturgjike, pasi cakton gjithsej shtat\u00ebdhjet\u00eb e kat\u00ebr persona n\u00eb sh\u00ebrbimin e shenjt\u00ebrores. Justinii II shtoi dy harqe dhe p\u00ebrforcoi form\u00ebn e kryqit n\u00eb k\u00ebt\u00eb nd\u00ebrtes\u00eb madh\u00ebshtore. N\u00eb nj\u00eb faz\u00eb t\u00eb m\u00ebvonshme Romanosi i Tret\u00eb Argyros dekoroi brend\u00ebsin\u00eb e harqeve me ar dhe argjend. Roli i tempullit ishte vendimtar gjat\u00eb ikonoklasizmit, dhe ve\u00e7an\u00ebrisht n\u00ebn Konstandinin e Pest\u00eb ikonoklastit. Ikonoklasist\u00ebt z\u00ebvend\u00ebsuan figurat e Krishtit, t\u00eb Hyjlind\u00ebs dhe t\u00eb shenjtor\u00ebve me paraqitje pem\u00ebsh, zogjsh dhe bishash t\u00eb llojeve t\u00eb ndryshme. Jeta e Sh\u00ebn Stefanit t\u00eb Ri, e shkruar n\u00eb fillim t\u00eb shekullit t\u00eb n\u00ebnt\u00eb, d\u00ebshmon se tempulli u shnd\u00ebrrua n\u00eb nj\u00eb kopsht frutor dhe nj\u00eb zogj. M\u00eb pas u zhduk edhe ikona historike prej druri, argjend-ar, e Hyjlind\u00ebs, e cila p\u00ebr shekuj ishte krenaria e qytetit mbret\u00ebror. Sipas tradit\u00ebs, ikona u rizbulua e fshehur n\u00eb mur gjat\u00eb punimeve t\u00eb rinovimit n\u00ebn Romanus t\u00eb Tret\u00eb t\u00eb Argyros. Tashm\u00eb ishte formuar tipi ikonografik i Hyjlind\u00ebs s\u00eb Blachernitiss\u00eb, i cili u p\u00ebrhap me kopje n\u00eb mbar\u00eb bot\u00ebn e krishter\u00eb. Hyjlind\u00ebse \u00ebsht\u00eb paraqitur gjat\u00eb gjith\u00eb gjat\u00ebsis\u00eb dhe ballore, me duar t\u00eb ngritura, nd\u00ebrsa n\u00eb gjoks mban nj\u00eb medalje me bekimin e Krishtit. Me imazhin lidhet edhe mrekullia e velin\u00ebs, e cila u hoq nga fytyra e Hyjlind\u00e8s-it n\u00eb var\u00ebsi t\u00eb rastit. K\u00ebt\u00eb fakt n\u00eb vepr\u00ebn e saj madh\u00ebshtore na e b\u00ebn t\u00eb ditur historiania Anna Komneni, e bija e Aleksit. N\u00eb 1770 pas Krishtit kisha u shkat\u00ebrrua nga nj\u00eb zjarr i madh, por ajo u rind\u00ebrtua shpejt me ndihm\u00ebn e perandor\u00ebve Romanus Diogenes i Kat\u00ebrt dhe Mihail Duka i Shtat\u00eb. Kompleksi u dogj p\u00ebrgjithmon\u00eb pak para vjesht\u00ebs, kur fisnik\u00ebt u ngjit\u00ebn n\u00eb \u00e7ati p\u00ebr t\u00eb kapur p\u00ebllumbat e vegj\u00ebl. Me p\u00ebrfundimin e ikonoklazm\u00ebs, nga tempulli i Blakern\u00ebs filloi kremtimi i Ortodoksis\u00eb, i cili u krijua p\u00ebr triumfin e ikonave t\u00eb shenjta. Sipas tradit\u00ebs, ikona e Krishtit dhe letra e mbretit Avgarus nga Edessa u vendos\u00ebn m\u00eb von\u00eb n\u00eb kapel\u00eb. Pas r\u00ebnies nga kryqtar\u00ebt n\u00eb shekullin e tremb\u00ebdhjet\u00eb, tempulli kaloi n\u00eb duart e latin\u00ebve, derisa Joani Duka i Tret\u00eb Vatatzis e bleu at\u00eb. Pirat\u00ebt gjenovez\u00eb me motor\u00ebt e tyre t\u00eb rrethimit m\u00eb von\u00eb shkaktuan d\u00ebme serioze n\u00eb shenjt\u00ebrore n\u00eb mesin e shekullit t\u00eb kat\u00ebrmb\u00ebdhjet\u00eb. Sipas d\u00ebshmive q\u00eb mbijetuan, tempulli ndodhej pran\u00eb Bririt, jasht\u00eb mureve t\u00eb vjetra t\u00eb qytetit. Heraklioni murosi zon\u00ebn p\u00ebr ta mbrojtur at\u00eb nga sulmet dhe bastisjet barbare. Kur pallati i Blacherna u themelua n\u00eb shpatin e kodr\u00ebs, tempulli dhe pallati u lidh\u00ebn me nj\u00eb shkall\u00eb dhe der\u00eb t\u00eb ve\u00e7ant\u00eb. Perandor\u00ebt shpesh merrnin pjes\u00eb n\u00eb sh\u00ebrbime dhe tregonin respektin dhe besnik\u00ebrin\u00eb e tyre n\u00eb \u00e7do m\u00ebnyr\u00eb. N\u00eb fushata ata soll\u00ebn me vete nj\u00eb imazh t\u00eb shenjt\u00eb t\u00eb Blachernitissa-s si mbrojtje e sigurt dhe mb\u00ebshtetje shpirt\u00ebrore. Q\u00eb nga vitet e patriarkut Timoteut, kremtimi dhe litania e ikon\u00ebs s\u00eb Hyjlind\u00ebs u vendos \u00e7do t\u00eb premte n\u00eb Chalkopratei. N\u00eb tempull kremtoheshin me karakter zyrtar edhe Hypapanti, e diela orthodhokse, e premtja e madhe dhe e marta e Pashk\u00ebve. Festimet e m\u00ebdha ishin edhe vendosja e velit t\u00eb Hyjlind\u00e8s-it, hapja e tempullit dhe p\u00ebrkujtimi i shp\u00ebtimit nga avaropor\u00ebt. U nderua edhe Fjetja e Virgj\u00ebresh\u00ebs dhe kujtimi i t\u00ebrmetit t\u00eb tmerrsh\u00ebm q\u00eb goditi qytetin n\u00eb shekullin e tet\u00eb. Mega shenjt\u00ebrorja p\u00ebrb\u00ebhej nga tre nd\u00ebrtesa t\u00eb ve\u00e7anta, kisha qendrore, kapela e relikteve dhe lusma. Kisha kishte form\u00ebn e nj\u00eb bazilike treanf\u00ebshe me \u00e7ati druri, e ngjashme me Hyjlind\u00ebsen e Chalkoprateis\u00eb dhe manastirin e Studiout. Veshja e brendshme kombinonte ortomarblimin me ngjyra, diasper jeshil n\u00eb kolona dhe ar dhe argjend n\u00eb tavan. Muret mbi ortomarblimin ishin zbukuruar me afreske dhe mozaik\u00eb me tema nga cikli kristologjik. Amberi ishte vendosur n\u00eb mes t\u00eb korridorit qendror dhe ishte t\u00ebr\u00ebsisht prej argjendi t\u00eb past\u00ebr. Informacione t\u00eb vlefshme p\u00ebr ilustrimin dhe pjes\u00ebn tjet\u00ebr t\u00eb dekorimit t\u00eb tempullit na la ambasadori Clavichos, i cili vizitoi vendin n\u00eb fillim t\u00eb shekullit t\u00eb XV. N\u00eb nj\u00eb tekst t\u00eb m\u00ebvonsh\u00ebm, Isidori i Kievit vajton p\u00ebr zhdukjen e tempullit t\u00eb mrekulluesh\u00ebm dhe shp\u00ebton kujtimin e lavdis\u00eb s\u00eb tij t\u00eb m\u00ebparshme. Kapela e relikteve, ose kapela e Sh\u00ebns sorou, ishte nj\u00eb nd\u00ebrtes\u00eb rrethore me nj\u00eb narteks n\u00eb jug t\u00eb shenjt\u00ebrores. Tualeti ishte i ndar\u00eb n\u00eb tre pjes\u00eb, xhaketa, rezervuari dhe Agios Photeinos, dhe komunikonte me kish\u00ebz\u00ebn. Ajo strehohej me kupol\u00eb dhe muret ishin zbukuruar me imazhe, nd\u00ebrsa n\u00eb nj\u00eb kamare t\u00eb ve\u00e7ant\u00eb ishte imazhi i Hyjlind\u00ebs. Perandori zbriste n\u00eb rezervuar \u00e7do t\u00eb premte dhe lahej me nderim n\u00eb uj\u00ebrat sh\u00ebruese. Nga duart e ikon\u00ebs s\u00eb mermert\u00eb t\u00eb Hyjlind\u00ebses, shenjt\u00ebria u derdh drejt besimtar\u00ebve t\u00eb devotsh\u00ebm. Pas zjarrit t\u00eb madh pak para R\u00ebnies dhe r\u00ebnies p\u00ebrfundimtare t\u00eb perandoris\u00eb, gjith\u00e7ka u rr\u00ebnua dhe shkreti tragjikisht. Fama dhe pasuria e shenjt\u00ebrores s\u00eb vjet\u00ebr humb\u00ebn dhe vet\u00ebm shenjt\u00ebrorja mbeti si d\u00ebshmi e shk\u00eblqimit t\u00eb saj t\u00eb dikursh\u00ebm. Zona i p\u00ebrkiste osman\u00ebve p\u00ebr shekuj me radh\u00eb, deri n\u00eb koh\u00ebn kur u ble nga esnafi i g\u00ebzof\u00ebve ortodoks\u00eb grek\u00eb. Ata nd\u00ebrtuan mbi kish\u00ebn e shenjt\u00ebruar, duke mbajtur t\u00eb gjall\u00eb tradit\u00ebn dhe p\u00ebrkushtimin ndaj Hyjlind\u00ebses s\u00eb Blachern\u00ebs. Me kalimin e koh\u00ebs dhe me kujdesin e Patriarkan\u00ebs Ekumenike, hap\u00ebsir\u00ebs s\u00eb bekuar iu shtuan shtesa t\u00eb tjera. Vendi antik dhe i rrethuar me mure fitoi gradualisht pamjen q\u00eb ka sot, me pik\u00ebn qendrore t\u00eb referenc\u00ebs shenjt\u00ebroren e shenjt\u00eb. Kat\u00ebr afresket e piktorit Irinarchos Kova, t\u00eb pikturuara mbi shenjt\u00ebrore n\u00eb mesin e shekullit t\u00eb nj\u00ebzet\u00eb, kujtojn\u00eb emocionet e shenjta dhe momentet e m\u00ebdha t\u00eb kish\u00ebs orthodhokse. G\u00ebrmimet e ardhshme n\u00eb zon\u00ebn m\u00eb t\u00eb gjer\u00eb ka t\u00eb ngjar\u00eb t\u00eb zbulojn\u00eb rr\u00ebnojat e tempullit t\u00eb madh bizantin.
