Jo shum\u00eb koh\u00eb m\u00eb par\u00eb, nj\u00eb ushtar i kishte dh\u00ebn\u00eb klamidia e tij ushtarake nj\u00eb virgj\u00ebreshe, n\u00eb m\u00ebnyr\u00eb q\u00eb ajo t\u00eb mund t\u00eb shp\u00ebtonte e sigurt nga sht\u00ebpia publike ku kishte qen\u00eb e mbyllur. Antonina vinte nga qyteti i Kardamos n\u00eb Azin\u00eb e Vog\u00ebl dhe jetonte me modesti, p\u00ebrmbajtje dhe dashuri t\u00eb thell\u00eb. Ajo shpenzoi gjith\u00eb pasurin\u00eb e saj n\u00eb sh\u00ebrbimin e njer\u00ebzve t\u00eb varf\u00ebr dhe fatkeq t\u00eb zon\u00ebs. Virgj\u00ebresha q\u00ebndroi gjat\u00eb gjith\u00eb koh\u00ebs n\u00eb gjunj\u00eb, pa ushqim dhe pa uj\u00eb, duke iu lutur Zotit dit\u00eb e nat\u00eb. Nat\u00ebn e tret\u00eb u d\u00ebgjua nj\u00eb bubullim\u00eb e fort\u00eb brenda burgut, dyert u hap\u00ebn dhe nj\u00eb drit\u00eb e bollshme p\u00ebrmbyti vendin. Nj\u00eb z\u00eb qiellor i tha t\u00eb ngrihej, t\u00eb shijonte buk\u00ebn dhe ujin dhe t\u00eb mos kishte frik\u00eb nga zoti i keq. Kur e \u00e7uan p\u00ebrs\u00ebri para foltores, ajo ngriti syt\u00eb drejt qiellit dhe fal\u00ebnderoi Per\u00ebndin\u00eb p\u00ebr vullnetin e Tij. Ai q\u00ebndroi i qet\u00eb para Phystus dhe buz\u00ebqeshi, duke th\u00ebn\u00eb se ai pa shpejt shkat\u00ebrrimin e fronit dhe t\u00eb vetes. Prefekti u t\u00ebrbua, urdh\u00ebroi r\u00ebna t\u00eb reja dhe m\u00eb n\u00eb fund vendosi t&#8217;ua dor\u00ebzonte ushtar\u00ebve, p\u00ebr ta \u00e7nderuar n\u00eb nj\u00eb bordello. K\u00ebshtu ajo mendoi se do t\u00eb p\u00ebrkulte rr\u00ebfimin e saj t\u00eb guximsh\u00ebm dhe dinjitetin e saj virgj\u00ebror. Por virgj\u00ebresha u lut me zjarr dhe besim edhe m\u00eb t\u00eb madh. Pastaj nj\u00eb ushtar i prefektur\u00ebs, i quajtur Aleksand\u00ebr, vet\u00ebm nj\u00ebzet e tre vje\u00e7, u vizitua nga nj\u00eb engj\u00ebll i Zotit. Engj\u00eblli i zbuloi se duhej t\u00eb shp\u00ebtonte virgj\u00ebresh\u00ebn dhe t\u00eb ecte me t\u00eb n\u00eb rrug\u00ebn e martirizimit. Ushtari i ri shkoi n\u00eb Phystos dhe i k\u00ebrkoi leje p\u00ebr t\u00eb hyr\u00eb n\u00eb Antonina, me pretekstin p\u00ebr ta bindur at\u00eb t\u00eb bindej. Prefekti pranoi pa dyshim dhe ia dor\u00ebzoi virgj\u00ebresh\u00ebn pa hezitim. Aleksandri ra n\u00eb k\u00ebmb\u00ebt e saj dhe i zbuloi se vet\u00eb Zoti e kishte d\u00ebrguar p\u00ebr t\u00eb ruajtur virgj\u00ebrin\u00eb e saj. Ajo kishte frik\u00eb n\u00eb fillim, por papritmas drita qiellore p\u00ebrmbyti dhom\u00ebn dhe nj\u00eb z\u00eb hyjnor e qet\u00ebsoi. Ai i tha asaj t\u00eb vishte klamik\u00ebn ushtarake t\u00eb Aleksandrit, t\u00eb p\u00ebrkulte kok\u00ebn dhe t\u00eb dilte e sigurt. Antonina veshi rrobat e ushtarit, mbuloi fytyr\u00ebn dhe kaloi para Phystos pa u njohur. Prefekti mendoi se e pa ushtarin duke u t\u00ebrhequr dhe d\u00ebrgoi kat\u00ebr burra t\u00eb tjer\u00eb p\u00ebr t\u00eb p\u00ebrfunduar planin e posht\u00ebr t\u00eb \u00e7nderimit. Ushtar\u00ebt hyn\u00eb n\u00eb dhom\u00eb dhe gjet\u00ebn vet\u00ebm Aleksandrin. T\u00eb habitur, e \u00e7uan te prefekti, i cili u t\u00ebrbua nga mashtrimi dhe urdh\u00ebroi ta varnin dhe ta rrihnin pa m\u00ebshir\u00eb. Aleksandri nuk u p\u00ebrgjigj, por ngriti syt\u00eb drejt qiellit n\u00eb nj\u00eb lutje t\u00eb heshtur. Papritur u d\u00ebgjua nj\u00eb z\u00eb nga lart, i cili qortoi Phystos p\u00ebr torturimin e nj\u00eb njeriu t\u00eb pafajsh\u00ebm. I frik\u00ebsuar, prefekti urdh\u00ebroi ta zbrisnin dhe ta hidhnin n\u00eb burg. Pas pes\u00eb dit\u00ebsh ai e solli p\u00ebrs\u00ebri para tij dhe k\u00ebrkoi t\u00eb dinte se ku ishte Antonina. N\u00eb t\u00eb nj\u00ebjtin moment Zoti Jezus Krisht iu shfaq virgj\u00ebresh\u00ebs dhe i tha asaj t\u00eb marshonte me guxim drejt gjykat\u00ebsit t\u00eb padrejt\u00eb. Antonina erdhi e vetme dhe doli para Fistos me nj\u00eb q\u00ebndrim t\u00eb guximsh\u00ebm. Ai i tha se ishte paraqitur p\u00ebr t\u00eb turp\u00ebruar fuqin\u00eb e tij dhe p\u00ebr t\u00eb rr\u00ebfyer Krishtin. Prefekti urdh\u00ebroi q\u00eb ajo t\u00eb varej dhe t\u00eb rrihej r\u00ebnd\u00eb, madje duke par\u00eb n\u00ebse ajo e kishte ruajtur virgj\u00ebrin\u00eb gjat\u00eb dit\u00ebve t\u00eb m\u00ebparshme. Antonina nuk l\u00ebshoi \u200b\u200basnj\u00eb r\u00ebnkim n\u00ebn goditjet dhe u p\u00ebrgjigj me forc\u00eb se Zoti e mbajti t\u00eb past\u00ebr me m\u00ebshir\u00ebn e Tij. Phystos u habit p\u00ebr nj\u00eb moment dhe u p\u00ebrpoq p\u00ebrs\u00ebri t&#8217;i bindte ata t\u00eb flijonin p\u00ebr per\u00ebndit\u00eb. Dy d\u00ebshmor\u00ebt, sikur me nj\u00eb goj\u00eb, iu p\u00ebrgjigj\u00ebn se asnj\u00eb tortur\u00eb nuk do t&#8217;i b\u00ebnte ata t\u00eb adhuronin idhuj pa mendje dhe fuqi. Ushtar\u00ebt nxorr\u00ebn shpatat dhe i gjymtuan pa m\u00ebshir\u00eb. Por ata p\u00ebrl\u00ebvdonin Zotin, sikur t\u00eb mos ndjenin asnj\u00eb dhimbje n\u00eb trupat e tyre. Fistos, i t\u00ebrbuar nga q\u00ebndresa e tyre, urdh\u00ebroi t\u00eb hapej nj\u00eb grop\u00eb e thell\u00eb e mbushur me dru dhe ferra. Torturat e reja me qirinj t\u00eb ndezur n\u00eb an\u00ebt e tyre nuk arrit\u00ebn t&#8217;i p\u00ebrkulnin, por e shtuan fal\u00ebnderimin e tyre ndaj Zotit. Martir\u00ebt profetizuan me qet\u00ebsi asgj\u00ebsimin e shkurt\u00ebr t\u00eb persekutorit t\u00eb tyre t\u00eb pabes\u00eb. Prefekti urdh\u00ebroi t\u00eb ndizet zjarri n\u00eb grop\u00eb dhe t\u00eb lyhet trupat e shenjtor\u00ebve me katran. Pastaj i hodh\u00ebn n\u00eb flak\u00eb dhe sip\u00ebr shtuan katranin e that\u00eb, saq\u00eb edhe kockat e tyre u b\u00ebn\u00eb hi. Kur zjarri u shua, ai urdh\u00ebroi t\u00eb mbushet gropa me dhe, n\u00eb m\u00ebnyr\u00eb q\u00eb grat\u00eb besnike t\u00eb mos mund t\u00eb mbledhin lipsanin e shenjt\u00eb. Nj\u00eb frym\u00eb e lig\u00eb, e d\u00ebrguar nga engj\u00ebjt e shenjt\u00eb, e mundoi at\u00eb p\u00ebr shtat\u00eb dit\u00eb t\u00eb t\u00ebra n\u00eb nj\u00eb m\u00ebnyr\u00eb t\u00eb tmerrshme. N\u00eb fund ai u ftoh mjerisht dhe persekutimi n\u00eb zon\u00eb u ndal menj\u00ebher\u00eb pas vdekjes s\u00eb tij.
