Ai e pagoi me prerjen e kok\u00ebs p\u00ebr k\u00ebt\u00eb mashtrim trim, q\u00eb e shp\u00ebtoi Gjeorgjin\u00eb nga pushtimi osman. Sh\u00ebn Theodhori, i njohur n\u00eb tradit\u00ebn gjeorgjiane si Tevdore, jetoi dhe sh\u00ebrbeu n\u00eb shekullin e gjasht\u00ebmb\u00ebdhjet\u00eb n\u00eb fshatin gjeorgjian Kvelta. Ai ishte nj\u00eb famullitar i thjesht\u00eb, nj\u00eb minist\u00ebr modest, i p\u00ebrkushtuar ndaj kopes\u00eb s\u00eb tij dhe mbretit t\u00eb vendit t\u00eb tij. N\u00eb fillim t\u00eb vitit 1609, Perandoria Osmane dhe Persia ishin n\u00eb konflikt t\u00eb ashp\u00ebr p\u00ebr kontrollin e Lindjes s\u00eb Af\u00ebrt. Osman\u00ebt fillimisht pushtuan qytetin e Bagdadit dhe m\u00eb pas nj\u00eb pjes\u00eb t\u00eb provinc\u00ebs Samche n\u00eb Gjeorgjin\u00eb jugore. N\u00eb qershor t\u00eb t\u00eb nj\u00ebjtit vit, ata filluan nj\u00eb ofensiv\u00eb t\u00eb madhe kund\u00ebr Gjeorgjis\u00eb lindore, me synimin p\u00ebr t\u00eb n\u00ebnshtruar p\u00ebrfundimisht vendin. Mbreti i Gjeorgjis\u00eb ishte at\u00ebher\u00eb i riu Luarshabi i Dyt\u00eb, nj\u00eb sundimtar i devotsh\u00ebm dhe i dashur. Kur osman\u00ebt pushtuan Kartlin, mbreti mungonte n\u00eb rezidenc\u00ebn e tij verore, n\u00eb K\u00ebshtjell\u00ebn Tshireti. Por armiqt\u00eb e dinin mir\u00eb vendndodhjen e kalas\u00eb dhe numrin e kufizuar t\u00eb ushtar\u00ebve q\u00eb e ruanin me p\u00ebrkushtim. Osman\u00ebt planifikuan t\u00eb rrethonin k\u00ebshtjell\u00ebn, t\u00eb kapnin mbretin e ri dhe m\u00eb pas t\u00eb aneksonin t\u00eb gjith\u00eb Gjeorgjin\u00eb n\u00eb perandorin\u00eb e tyre. Ata kaluan me shpejt\u00ebsi vargmalin e Trialetit dhe u p\u00ebrparuan drejt rajonit t\u00eb Manglisit, duke mos hasur n\u00eb rezistenc\u00eb serioze. N\u00eb rrug\u00ebn e tyre ata pla\u00e7kit\u00ebn fshatrat, shkat\u00ebrruan sht\u00ebpit\u00eb dhe masakruan banor\u00ebt me mizori t\u00eb thell\u00eb. Por mes k\u00ebtij rr\u00ebnimi t\u00eb p\u00ebrgjithsh\u00ebm, tempulli i Hyjlind\u00e8s n\u00eb Manglisi mbeti p\u00ebr mrekulli i paprekur nga pushtuesit. Nj\u00eb kronist i koh\u00ebs shp\u00ebtoi d\u00ebshmin\u00eb se nj\u00eb mjegull e dendur mbuloi tempullin dhe gjith\u00eb fshatin. Mjegulla e fshehu vendin nga syt\u00eb e armiqve, t\u00eb cil\u00ebt kaluan pa v\u00ebn\u00eb re ekzistenc\u00ebn e saj. Sh\u00ebn Luarsamp nuk kishte marr\u00eb asnj\u00eb paralajm\u00ebrim se sulmi po zhvillohej kaq shpejt. Armiku ishte vet\u00ebm pak minuta larg k\u00ebshtjell\u00ebs s\u00eb tij dhe situata dukej krejt\u00ebsisht e pashpres\u00eb. N\u00eb fshatin e vog\u00ebl Kvelta, af\u00ebr Manglisit, turqit arrestuan priftin Theodhori, nj\u00eb njeri i ndersh\u00ebm para Zotit. Ai ishte i p\u00ebrkushtuar ndaj mbretit dhe vendit t\u00eb tij dhe ky p\u00ebrkushtim do t\u00eb vihej n\u00eb prov\u00eb t\u00eb r\u00ebnd\u00eb n\u00eb or\u00ebt e ardhshme kritike. At Theodhori nuk pati koh\u00eb t\u00eb strehohej n\u00eb pyll bashk\u00eb me banor\u00ebt e tjer\u00eb t\u00eb fshatit t\u00eb tij. Para se t\u00eb mb\u00ebrrinin armiqt\u00eb, ai mbylli dyert e tempullit dhe fshehu me nderim en\u00ebt dhe thesaret e tij t\u00eb shenjta. Kur osman\u00ebt e kap\u00ebn, e urdh\u00ebruan t&#8217;i \u00e7onte n\u00eb Kalan\u00eb e Tshiretit, ku ndodhej mbreti. Ata e k\u00ebrc\u00ebnuan me vdekje t\u00eb dhunshme n\u00ebse refuzonte t\u00eb bashk\u00ebpunonte dhe prifti e kuptoi menj\u00ebher\u00eb se \u00e7far\u00eb ishte n\u00eb rrezik p\u00ebr vendin. Me gjakftoht\u00ebsi dhe guxim vendosi t&#8217;i mashtroj\u00eb, p\u00ebr t\u00eb shp\u00ebtuar mbretin dhe gjith\u00eb Gjeorgjin\u00eb. Ai i \u00e7oi ata n\u00eb nj\u00eb shteg t\u00eb ngusht\u00eb dhe t\u00eb pjerr\u00ebt, n\u00ebp\u00ebr male, q\u00eb largoheshin gjithnj\u00eb e m\u00eb shum\u00eb nga kalaja aktuale. Shum\u00eb kuaj dhe ushtar\u00eb osman\u00eb humb\u00ebn ekuilibrin dhe ran\u00eb n\u00eb thell\u00ebsi t\u00eb kanioneve. Pas disa or\u00ebsh marshimi, armiqt\u00eb m\u00eb n\u00eb fund e kuptuan se prifti i kishte \u00e7uar n\u00eb nj\u00eb drejtim krejt\u00ebsisht t\u00eb gabuar.
