Kur tirani mbyti shtat\u00eb virgj\u00ebresha n\u00eb liqen, ai doli nat\u00ebn dhe i varrosi me nderim eshtrat e tyre t\u00eb shenjta. Ai erdhi nga Ankaraja e Galatis\u00eb dhe jetoi n\u00eb vitet e v\u00ebshtira t\u00eb shekullit t\u00eb tret\u00eb pas Krishtit. Ishte njeri i devotsh\u00ebm, i martuar dhe ushtronte profesionin e tregtarit t\u00eb drithit dhe buk\u00ebpjek\u00ebsit. Pun\u00ebtoria e tij e vog\u00ebl u b\u00eb dal\u00ebngadal\u00eb nj\u00eb streh\u00eb p\u00ebr besimtar\u00ebt dhe nj\u00eb vend sekret ku mbaheshin sh\u00ebrbesat e shenjta t\u00eb Kish\u00ebs. Me zem\u00ebr t\u00eb hapur ndaj vuajtjeve njer\u00ebzore, ai vizitoi t\u00eb krishter\u00ebt e burgosur dhe i mb\u00ebshteti me buk\u00eb, fjal\u00eb ngush\u00ebllimi dhe besim t\u00eb ngroht\u00eb. Mbasi zot\u00ebria sp\u00ebrkati ver\u00ebn e flijimeve pagane mbi t\u00eb gjitha ushqimet e qytetit, i furnizoi v\u00ebllez\u00ebrit me buk\u00eb t\u00eb past\u00ebr. K\u00ebshtu asnj\u00eb besimtar nuk u ndot nga ai lak i lig i p\u00ebrndjek\u00ebsve. Ai madje pagoi shp\u00ebrblimin e rob\u00ebrve t\u00eb varf\u00ebr dhe varrosi me nderim ata q\u00eb u hodh\u00ebn te kafsh\u00ebt. Dashuria e tij u b\u00eb nj\u00eb liman shprese mes t\u00ebrbimit t\u00eb pushtetit pagan. N\u00eb mesin e t\u00eb burgosurve ai gjeti dikur tezen e tij Tekousa s\u00eb bashku me shtat\u00eb virgj\u00ebresha nga zona. Ata ishin Aleksandri, Klaudia, Fene, Eufrasia, Matrona, Julia dhe Teodoti, martir\u00eb t\u00eb njohur t\u00eb Kish\u00ebs. P\u00ebr shkak se ata nuk pranuan t\u00eb b\u00ebnin fli p\u00ebr idhujt, tirani ua dor\u00ebzoi ushtar\u00ebve p\u00ebr t&#8217;i \u00e7nderuar. Por fuqia hyjnore i mbrojti dhe ata mbet\u00ebn t\u00eb pad\u00ebmtuar n\u00eb at\u00eb sprov\u00eb t\u00eb tmerrshme. Pastaj zoti urdh\u00ebroi t&#8217;i lidhnin me gur\u00eb t\u00eb r\u00ebnd\u00eb n\u00eb qaf\u00eb dhe t&#8217;i hidhnin n\u00eb liqenin aty pran\u00eb. Aty ia dor\u00ebzuan Krishtit shpirtrat e tyre t\u00eb shenjt\u00eb, t\u00eb veshur me kuror\u00ebn e virgj\u00ebris\u00eb dhe t\u00eb martirizimit. Tirani mizor ndaloi rrept\u00ebsisht q\u00eb eshtrat e tyre t\u00eb ndersh\u00ebm t\u00eb varroseshin. Por Teodoti nuk i frik\u00ebsohej as urdhrit dhe as vet\u00eb vdekjes q\u00eb e priste. N\u00eb err\u00ebsir\u00ebn e nat\u00ebs s\u00eb bashku me besimtar\u00eb t\u00eb tjer\u00eb nxori trupat nga uj\u00ebrat e liqenit. Me lot e me brohoritje i varrosi n\u00eb nj\u00eb vend t\u00eb fsheht\u00eb, duke nderuar nimfat e Krishtit ashtu si\u00e7 duhej. Ky akt zbuloi pamaturin\u00eb e tij t\u00eb madhe dhe dashurin\u00eb e zjarrt\u00eb. Por dikush e tradhtoi d\u00ebshmorin trim dhe ia dor\u00ebzoi prefektit Theotechnos p\u00ebr t&#8217;u marr\u00eb n\u00eb pyetje dhe nj\u00eb d\u00ebnim mizor. Ai pranoi me guxim se i varrosi virgj\u00ebreshat dhe rr\u00ebfeu me forc\u00eb besimin e tij n\u00eb Krishtin. Prefekti e akuzoi at\u00eb se t\u00eb krishter\u00ebt p\u00ebr\u00e7mojn\u00eb \u00e7do autoritet dhe jan\u00eb m\u00eb t\u00eb par\u00ebnd\u00ebsit\u00eb midis njer\u00ebzve t\u00eb koh\u00ebs. At\u00ebher\u00eb Teodoti, i ndri\u00e7uar nga Fryma e Shenjt\u00eb, u p\u00ebrgjigj me urt\u00ebsi v\u00ebrtet qiellore dhe t\u00eb pakorruptueshme. Ai tha se vet\u00ebm t\u00eb krishter\u00ebt e din\u00eb se sa i vog\u00ebl \u00ebsht\u00eb njeriu pa hirin e Zotit t\u00eb gjall\u00eb. Ai shtoi se besimtari i fundit, i cili mban premtimin e mbret\u00ebris\u00eb s\u00eb p\u00ebrjetshme, \u00ebsht\u00eb m\u00eb i ndritur se mbret\u00ebrit pagan\u00eb t\u00eb tok\u00ebs. I t\u00ebrbuar, tirani urdh\u00ebroi tortura t\u00eb tmerrshme kund\u00ebr rr\u00ebfimtarit trim t\u00eb Krishtit. E rrah\u00ebn r\u00ebnd\u00eb, e varin, i shqyen an\u00ebt dhe i hodh\u00ebn uthull e krip\u00eb plag\u00ebve t\u00eb hapura. M\u00eb n\u00eb fund ia pren\u00eb kok\u00ebn dhe mori kuror\u00ebn e martirit amarant. Ata donin t&#8217;i digjnin trupin, por shp\u00ebrtheu nj\u00eb stuhi e fort\u00eb dhe i pengoi.
