Kur dhjaku Kyriacus sh\u00ebroi vajz\u00ebn e perandorit Dioklecian nga shtypja demonike, ai e liroi at\u00eb, por m\u00eb von\u00eb dh\u00ebndri i tij Galerius e t\u00ebrhoqi zvarr\u00eb lakuriq pas karroc\u00ebs s\u00eb tij. P\u00ebrball\u00eb k\u00ebsaj mrekullie, ushtar\u00ebt Papias dhe Mavros e pranuan hapur Krishtin si Per\u00ebndin\u00eb e v\u00ebrtet\u00eb. Kur perandori m\u00ebsoi se Kiriaku i burgosur sh\u00ebronte s\u00ebmundjet dhe d\u00ebbonte demon\u00ebt, e thirri menj\u00ebher\u00eb te vajza e tij e torturuar. Galerius e kishte inat vjehrrin e tij, sepse Artemia kishte p\u00ebrqafuar me gjith\u00eb zem\u00ebr besimin e krishter\u00eb. K\u00ebshtu ai urdh\u00ebroi q\u00eb Kiriakun ta t\u00ebrhiqnin zvarr\u00eb pas karroc\u00ebs s\u00eb tij, t\u00eb zhveshur, t\u00eb gjakosur dhe t\u00eb lidhur n\u00eb hekura, p\u00ebr ta tallur. Peshkopi Marcellinus d\u00ebnoi publikisht mizorin\u00eb e perandorit ndaj t\u00eb krishter\u00ebve t\u00eb pafajsh\u00ebm t\u00eb Rom\u00ebs.
