Prind\u00ebrit e saj e fejuan me nj\u00ebfar\u00eb Elefsi t\u00eb rangut senatorial, i cili, ngaq\u00eb kishte r\u00ebn\u00eb n\u00eb dashuri t\u00eb zjarrt\u00eb me t\u00eb, nuk donte ta shtynte dasm\u00ebn m\u00eb tej. Por zemra e Julian\u00ebs ishte pushtuar nga dashuria p\u00ebr Zotin ton\u00eb Jisu Krisht, dhe d\u00ebshironte t\u00eb kalonte t\u00ebr\u00eb jet\u00ebn e saj n\u00eb past\u00ebrti dhe pa shp\u00ebrqendrime p\u00ebr hir t\u00eb Dh\u00ebndrit qiellor, prandaj nuk i pranoi k\u00ebto propozime. E detyruar t\u00eb zbulonte t\u00eb v\u00ebrtet\u00ebn, e fejuara e Krishtit i tha: \u201cN\u00ebse ti nuk braktis kultin e idhujve dhe nuk b\u00ebn pjes\u00eb n\u00eb fen\u00eb e krishter\u00eb, q\u00eb dhuron jet\u00ebn e p\u00ebrjetshme, kurr\u00eb nuk kam p\u00ebr t\u00eb t\u00eb pranuar q\u00eb t\u00eb martohem me ty\u201d. E pal\u00ebkundur n\u00eb vendimin e saj, me gjith\u00eb lutjet e prind\u00ebrve, ajo iu dor\u00ebzua autoriteteve, si dishepulle e fes\u00eb s\u00eb ndaluar dhe u \u00e7ua p\u00ebrpara prefektit. M\u00ebtuesi i saj, u b\u00eb tani gjykat\u00ebsi dhe torturuesi, dha urdh\u00ebr ta zhvishnin dhe ta torturonin.<\/p>\n<p>Pasi e kamxhikuan n\u00eb t\u00eb gjith\u00eb trupin, e var\u00ebn nga flok\u00ebt sa iu shkul l\u00ebkura e kok\u00ebs. Djalli iu shfaq n\u00eb burg, me pamjen e nj\u00eb engj\u00eblli t\u00eb Per\u00ebndis\u00eb, q\u00eb t\u2019i propozonte t\u00eb n\u00ebnshtrohej dhe t\u2019u sakrifikonte idhujve. Por shenjtorja e Per\u00ebndis\u00eb, e armatosur me lutje, i hoqi mask\u00ebn k\u00ebtij mashtrimi t\u00eb djallit dhe gjeti fuqi t\u00eb rip\u00ebrt\u00ebrira p\u00ebr t\u00eb vazhduar p\u00ebrpjekjen e saj shpirt\u00ebrore.<\/p>\n<p>Pasi e nxor\u00ebn nga burgu p\u00ebr ta marr\u00eb p\u00ebrs\u00ebri n\u00eb pyetje, e \u00e7uan drejt nj\u00eb mangalli t\u00eb madh, ku kishin b\u00ebr\u00eb gati zift plot me plumb t\u00eb shkrir\u00eb p\u00ebr ta zhytur. Por vendosm\u00ebria e vajz\u00ebs s\u00eb re ishte aq e pal\u00ebkundur, besimi i saj aq i madh, dashuria p\u00ebr Krishtin aq shum\u00eb e zjarrt\u00eb, m\u00eb e zjarrt\u00eb se \u00e7do dashuri tok\u00ebsore, saq\u00eb shpirti i saj i transmetoi trupit pak nga mosprishja q\u00eb u \u00ebsht\u00eb premtuar t\u00eb zgjedhurve p\u00ebr jet\u00ebn e p\u00ebrjetshme. Jo vet\u00ebm q\u00eb nuk p\u00ebsoi asnj\u00eb d\u00ebmtim, por, kur ajo e preku, zifti u \u00e7a dhe plumbi u p\u00ebrhap mbi rojat.<\/p>\n<p>Para k\u00ebtyre mrekullive, nj\u00eb num\u00ebr i madh pagan\u00ebsh, 500 burra dhe 130 gra, lavd\u00ebruan fuqin\u00eb q\u00eb Per\u00ebndia u fal shenjtor\u00ebve t\u00eb tij, pohuan emrin e Krishtit, ndaj dhe u pren\u00eb menj\u00ebher\u00eb kok\u00ebn, me urdh\u00ebr t\u00eb prefektit. N\u00eb fund ia pren\u00eb kok\u00ebn edhe Julian\u00ebs, duke ia d\u00ebrguar k\u00ebshtu shpirtin me g\u00ebzim drejt banesave t\u00eb shenjtor\u00ebve.
