P\u00ebr k\u00ebt\u00eb arsye, mbante nj\u00eb gur t\u00eb r\u00ebnd\u00eb n\u00eb goj\u00eb dhe komunikonte me v\u00ebllez\u00ebrit duke shkruar n\u00eb nj\u00eb pllak\u00eb. Ua kalonte t\u00eb gjith\u00eb v\u00ebllez\u00ebrve n\u00eb asketiz\u00ebm dhe lutje, duke u lutur gjat\u00eb gjith\u00eb net\u00ebve me lutje t\u00eb zjarrta, i hipur n\u00eb nj\u00eb pem\u00eb jasht\u00eb n\u00eb qiell t\u00eb hapur. Sa m\u00eb shum\u00eb q\u00eb ai lart\u00ebsohej drejt Per\u00ebndis\u00eb n\u00eb k\u00ebt\u00eb m\u00ebnyr\u00eb, aq m\u00eb tep\u00ebr hiri derdhej me boll\u00ebk tek ata q\u00eb vinin te shtylla e tij.<\/p>\n<p>Meq\u00eb i p\u00ebrkiste i gjithi Per\u00ebndis\u00eb, shenjtori \u201cb\u00ebhej gjith\u00e7ka p\u00ebr t\u00eb gjith\u00eb\u201d (1 Kor. 9:22). Shtylla e tij ishte shnd\u00ebrruar p\u00ebr banor\u00ebt e Konstandinopoj\u00ebs n\u00eb liman shp\u00ebtimi, ku shpirtrat m\u00eb t\u00eb vuajtur mund t\u00eb gjenin paqen dhe g\u00ebzimin e pendimit.<\/p>\n<p>Sh\u00ebn Llukai q\u00ebndroi m\u00eb shum\u00eb se 40 vjet n\u00eb at\u00eb shtyll\u00eb, si nj\u00eb engj\u00ebll mbi tok\u00eb, pasi mposhti n\u00eb m\u00ebnyr\u00eb t\u00eb p\u00ebrsosur si armiqt\u00eb e brendsh\u00ebm, ashtu edhe ata t\u00eb jasht\u00ebm, duke b\u00ebr\u00eb q\u00eb t\u00eb shk\u00eblqej\u00eb n\u00eb syt\u00eb e njer\u00ebzve drita e virtyteve t\u00eb tij, q\u00eb ata t\u00eb lavd\u00ebrojn\u00eb Atin qiellor (Matth. 5:16). Ai fjeti n\u00eb paqe m\u00eb 11 dhjetor 979, n\u00eb nj\u00eb mosh\u00eb m\u00eb shum\u00eb se 100 vje\u00e7 dhe u varros n\u00eb manastirin e Sh\u00ebn Vasianit, t\u00eb cilin e kishte restauruar me
