Rridhte nga fisi i Semit. Ishte martuar me Sar\u00ebn dhe nuk kishin f\u00ebmij\u00eb. Per\u00ebndia e zgjodhi Abrahamin q\u00eb ta b\u00ebnte atin e popullit t\u00eb Tij, prandaj i tha: \u201cBraktis vendin t\u00ebnd, familjen t\u00ebnde, sht\u00ebpin\u00eb e atit t\u00ebnd dhe shko n\u00eb vendin q\u00eb do t\u00eb t\u00eb tregoj; un\u00eb prej teje do t\u00eb b\u00ebj nj\u00eb komb t\u00eb madh, do t\u00eb t\u00eb bekoj e do ta b\u00ebj t\u00eb madh emrin t\u00ebnd dhe ti do t\u00eb jesh nj\u00eb bekim\u201d (Gjen. 12.1-3).<\/p>\n<p>Abrahami pati besim n\u00eb fjal\u00ebn e Zotit dhe pa par\u00eb mbrapa, mori gruan e tij, Sar\u00ebn, nipin, Lotin, t\u00eb mirat dhe sh\u00ebrb\u00ebtor\u00ebt dhe u nis drejt p\u00ebr n\u00eb vendin e Kanaanit. Si shp\u00ebrblim p\u00ebr besimin e tij, Per\u00ebndia i premtoi Abrahamit se do t\u00eb vendoste nj\u00eb bes\u00eblidhje t\u00eb vazhdueshme me t\u00eb dhe pasardh\u00ebsit e tij, aleanc\u00eb q\u00eb simbolizohej me rrethprerjen e \u00e7do mashkulli t\u00eb par\u00eblinduri nga pasardhja e Abrahamit.<\/p>\n<p>Per\u00ebndia i dha nj\u00eb bir Sar\u00ebs shterp\u00eb, megjith\u00ebse i shoqi i saj ishte shum\u00eb i moshuar. Isaaku ishte shenj\u00eb e p\u00eblqimit t\u00eb Per\u00ebndis\u00eb dhe simbolizonte Mesian e ardhsh\u00ebm, Krishtin, i cili duhet t\u00eb vinte p\u00ebr t\u00eb p\u00ebrmbushur premtimet q\u00eb Per\u00ebndia i b\u00ebri patriarkut t\u00eb shenjt\u00eb. Abrahami vdiq n\u00eb nj\u00eb pleq\u00ebri t\u00eb lumur n\u00eb mosh\u00ebn 175 &#8211; vje\u00e7are. U varros n\u00eb tok\u00ebn e Kanaanit, n\u00eb tok\u00ebn q\u00eb kishte bler\u00eb p\u00ebr t\u00eb varrosur Sar\u00ebn.<\/p>\n<p>Kur Loti hyri me Abrahamin n\u00eb tok\u00ebn e Kanaanit, mori prona t\u00eb pasura dhe pjellore t\u00eb fush\u00ebs s\u00eb Jordanit dhe q\u00ebndroi n\u00eb Sodom\u00eb, ndon\u00ebse banor\u00ebt atje ishin t\u00eb mbytur n\u00eb vese dhe shthurje. Ata provokuan zem\u00ebrimin e Zotit, i Cili vendosi ta shkat\u00ebrronte qytetin. D\u00ebrgoi dy engj\u00ebj p\u00ebr t\u00eb lajm\u00ebruar Lotin q\u00eb t\u00eb largohej bashk\u00eb me njer\u00ebzit e tij.
