Lindi n\u00eb Kalqedoni nga prind\u00ebr t\u00eb pasur e t\u00eb per\u00ebndish\u00ebm, t\u00eb cil\u00ebt e edukuan me dashurin\u00eb p\u00ebr Krishtin. N\u00eb k\u00ebt\u00eb koh\u00eb, nj\u00eb far\u00eb Priski u b\u00eb kryekonsull i Azis\u00eb. P\u00ebr fest\u00ebn e per\u00ebndis\u00eb s\u00eb tij, ai d\u00ebnoi me vdekje banor\u00ebt e krahin\u00ebs q\u00eb nuk vinin t\u00eb festonin me t\u00eb. Meq\u00eb Efimia kryesonte grupin, e mor\u00ebn dhe ia dogj\u00ebn gjymtyr\u00ebt n\u00eb rrota hekuri. Por shenjtorja iu lut Zotit dhe me fuqin\u00eb e Krishtit u sh\u00ebrua dhe nuk kishte asnj\u00eb vrag\u00eb n\u00eb trup. M\u00eb pas, Efimin\u00eb e hodh\u00ebn n\u00eb nj\u00eb furr\u00eb t\u00eb ndezur. Nj\u00eb engj\u00ebll i Zotit e mbrojti nga flak\u00ebt. Xhelat\u00ebt, Viktori dhe Sostheni t\u00eb mahnitur nga \u00e7udit\u00eb q\u00eb ndodh\u00ebn, besuan te Krishti dhe vdiq\u00ebn si martir\u00eb disa dit\u00eb m\u00eb pas n\u00ebn thonjt\u00eb e bishave.<\/p>\n<p>Shenjtores iu desh t\u00eb duronte edhe shum\u00eb tortura t\u00eb tjera, prej t\u00eb cilave e shp\u00ebtoi Per\u00ebndia n\u00eb \u00e7do rast, duke treguar k\u00ebshtu se hiri \u00ebsht\u00eb m\u00eb i fort\u00eb se \u00e7do tortur\u00eb apo lig\u00ebsi q\u00eb njeriu mund t\u00eb mendoj\u00eb.
