Pamfili, me origjin\u00eb nga Bejruti (Berytus) i Siris\u00eb, ishte nx\u00ebn\u00ebsi i Pieriusit, pasuesit t\u00eb Origjenit n\u00eb Shkoll\u00ebn Katekitike t\u00eb Aleksandris\u00eb. Ai ua shp\u00ebrndau t\u00eb varf\u00ebrve pasurin\u00eb e tij dhe e la lavdin\u00eb e bot\u00ebs p\u00ebr t\u2019iu p\u00ebrkushtuar praktikimit t\u00eb virtyteve t\u00eb shenjta dhe meditimit t\u00eb Fjal\u00ebs s\u00eb Per\u00ebndis\u00eb. E nxor\u00ebn p\u00ebrpara Urbanit, guvernatorit mizor t\u00eb Palestin\u00ebs, i cili, pasi hetoi dijen e tij t\u00eb madhe n\u00eb l\u00ebmin e filozofis\u00eb, i dha urdh\u00ebr t\u2019u ofronte sakrific\u00eb idhujve. Prifti i shenjt\u00eb i Per\u00ebndis\u00eb i duroi t\u00eb gjitha torturat me q\u00ebndrueshm\u00ebrin\u00eb e nj\u00eb qenieje t\u00eb patrup dhe pas k\u00ebtyre e burgos\u00ebn. Shok\u00ebt e tij t\u00eb burgut ishin dhjak Valensi, nj\u00eb njeri fisnik dhe i moshuar, dhe Pavli, q\u00eb i kishte duruar t\u00eb rrahurat pa u ankuar.<\/p>\n<p>Ata kaluan n\u00eb burg dy vjet s\u00eb bashku, deri kur pes\u00eb t\u00eb krishter\u00eb nga Egjipti mb\u00ebrrit\u00ebn n\u00eb portat e Qesaris\u00eb. Kur i pyet\u00ebn p\u00ebr emrat e tyre, n\u00eb vend q\u00eb t\u2019u thoshin t\u00eb v\u00ebrtet\u00ebn, k\u00ebta u p\u00ebrgjigj\u00ebn se quheshin sipas emrave t\u00eb profet\u00ebve t\u00eb Dhiat\u00ebs s\u00eb Vjet\u00ebr: Ilia, Jeremia, Isaia, Samueli dhe Danieli. Dhe kur gjykat\u00ebsi donte t\u00eb m\u00ebsonte se nga vinin, k\u00ebta i than\u00eb me nj\u00eb z\u00eb: \u201cNga Jerusalemi\u201d, duke iu referuar qytetit t\u00eb Jerusalemit t\u00eb Sip\u00ebrm, q\u00eb ndodhet n\u00eb qiell, Qytetit t\u00eb Per\u00ebndis\u00eb s\u00eb gjall\u00eb, atdheut t\u00eb t\u00eb gjith\u00eb t\u00eb krishter\u00ebve. Kur d\u00ebgjoi emrin e vjet\u00ebr t\u00eb qytetit rebel, t\u00eb riquajtur Aelia nga romak\u00ebt, gjykat\u00ebsi mendoi se t\u00eb krishter\u00ebt ishin mbledhur p\u00ebr t\u00eb b\u00ebr\u00eb komplot kund\u00ebr perandorit. Ai urdh\u00ebroi ta rrihnin me kamxhik martirin q\u00eb foli dhe, duke par\u00eb se ai mbeti i pal\u00ebkundur n\u00eb q\u00ebndrimin e tij, e d\u00ebnoi at\u00eb dhe kat\u00ebr shok\u00ebt e tij me prerje koke.<\/p>\n<p>Por guvernatori nuk u mjaftua me kaq. Edhe k\u00ebta i d\u00ebnoi me vdekje si martir\u00ebt e tjer\u00eb.<\/p>\n<p>Nd\u00ebrsa po i \u00e7onin drejt vendit t\u00eb ekzekutimit, nj\u00eb djal\u00eb i ri doli nga turma dhe thirri me z\u00eb t\u00eb lart\u00eb, duke k\u00ebrkuar trupat e martir\u00ebve. Porfiri 18-vje\u00e7ar, nj\u00eb sh\u00ebrb\u00ebtor dhe bir shpirt\u00ebror i Pamfilit, u arrestua menj\u00ebher\u00eb. Magjistrati, m\u00eb mizor se bishat, ua dor\u00ebzoi torturuesve, t\u00eb cil\u00ebt i \u00e7an\u00eb trupin me thonj hekuri derisa i dol\u00ebn jasht\u00eb t\u00eb p\u00ebrbrendshmet. E cop\u00ebtuan n\u00eb m\u00ebnyr\u00eb t\u00eb frikshme, por ai nuk nxori z\u00eb dhe k\u00ebshtu e d\u00ebnuan t\u00eb digjej n\u00eb zjarr t\u00eb ngadalt\u00eb. Ai eci drejt vdekjes porsi nj\u00eb atlet fitimtar. Fytyra i shk\u00eblqente nga hiri hyjnor me syt\u00eb drejtuar nga qielli, nd\u00ebrsa u thoshte miqve t\u00eb tij udh\u00ebzimet e fundit. I lidhur pas nj\u00eb shtylle druri, priti me qet\u00ebsi flak\u00ebt, duke mos nxjerr\u00eb asnj\u00eb britm\u00eb dhe fjal\u00eb, por vet\u00ebm iu lut Jisuit, Birit t\u00eb Per\u00ebndis\u00eb, q\u00eb ta ndihmonte. Selefki, nj\u00eb ish-ushtar q\u00eb kishte l\u00ebn\u00eb ushtrin\u00eb me q\u00ebllim q\u00eb t\u00eb ishte m\u00eb pran\u00eb t\u00eb krishter\u00ebve q\u00eb vuanin, shkoi p\u00ebr t\u2019i th\u00ebn\u00eb Pamfilit se si Porfiri kishte mbaruar martirizimin e tij. Ushtar\u00ebt e kap\u00ebn nd\u00ebrsa po p\u00ebrqafonte t\u00eb d\u00ebnuarit e tjer\u00eb. E \u00e7uan para guvernatorit, i cili e d\u00ebnoi menj\u00ebher\u00eb me vdekje. Pak minuta m\u00eb von\u00eb, Theodhuli, nj\u00eb i moshuar shpres\u00ebtar, me pozit\u00eb n\u00eb personelin e Firmilianit, b\u00ebri t\u00eb njohur dashurin\u00eb dhe besimin e tij p\u00ebr martir\u00ebt, duke e puthur Selefkin. Edhe at\u00eb e soll\u00ebn para Firmilianit, q\u00eb sa nuk p\u00eblciste nga zem\u00ebrimi, urdh\u00ebroi ta kryq\u00ebzonin, duke e nderuar me nj\u00eb vdekje si t\u00eb Shp\u00ebtimtarit.<\/p>\n<p>Nd\u00ebrkoh\u00eb Juliani, nj\u00eb kapadokas i devotsh\u00ebm i mbushur plot me zellin e Shpirtit t\u00eb Shenjt\u00eb, i cili ishte kthyer n\u00eb Qesari pas nj\u00eb udh\u00ebtimi, shkoi me shpejt\u00ebsi atje ku ndodheshin trupat e martir\u00ebve t\u00eb shenjt\u00eb. Ai i p\u00ebrqafoi dhe i puthi me dashuri nj\u00eb e nga nj\u00eb. Edhe at\u00eb e arrestuan dhe e \u00e7uan te Firmiliani, i cili e d\u00ebnoi me vdekje t\u00eb ngadalt\u00eb n\u00eb zjarr.
