An\u00ebtar\u00ebt e saj kishin arritur n\u00eb poste t\u00eb larta shtet\u00ebrore. Theodhora ishte bekuar me nj\u00eb bukuri t\u00eb jasht\u00ebzakonshme dhe inteligjenc\u00eb t\u00eb lart\u00eb, e gjithashtu, kishte trash\u00ebguar nga e \u00ebma saj, Theoktista, besimin e zjarrt\u00eb dhe devocionin e pal\u00ebkundur ndaj Per\u00ebndis\u00eb. Nd\u00ebrkoh\u00eb q\u00eb pohuesit e Orthodhoksis\u00eb, m\u00eb t\u00eb shenjt\u00ebt e koh\u00ebs, persekutoheshin, torturoheshin e internoheshin n\u00eb skajet m\u00eb t\u00eb larg\u00ebta t\u00eb perandoris\u00eb, Theodhora q\u00ebndronte n\u00eb pohimin e besimit t\u00eb v\u00ebrtet\u00eb dhe nderonte n\u00eb fsheht\u00ebsi ikonat e shenjta, t\u00eb fshehura n\u00eb dhom\u00ebn e saj t\u00eb gjumit. Nj\u00eb dit\u00eb, nj\u00ebri prej oborrtar\u00ebve, e kapi n\u00eb befasi teksa po puthte ikonat e shenjta dhe shkoi p\u00ebr t\u2019ia treguar k\u00ebt\u00eb perandorit, q\u00eb e qortoi ashp\u00ebr n\u00eb pranin\u00eb e tij. Megjithat\u00eb, ajo arriti t\u00eb largonte prej vetes me mjesht\u00ebri akuzat dhe lig\u00ebsit\u00eb e akuzuesit dhe vazhdoi t\u2019u ofronte n\u00eb fsheht\u00ebsi mb\u00ebshtetje pohuesve t\u00eb besimit orthodhoks. Pavar\u00ebsisht se ndalohej nga i shoqi, ajo shkonte shpesh me 5 vajzat e saj p\u00ebr t\u00eb takuar t\u00eb \u00ebm\u00ebn, q\u00eb ishte b\u00ebr\u00eb murgesh\u00eb n\u00eb manastirin e themeluar nga ajo vet\u00eb dhe q\u00eb ishte nj\u00eb kritike e ashp\u00ebr e politikave jobesimtare t\u00eb Theofilit dhe t\u00eb persekutimit t\u00eb ashp\u00ebr q\u00eb u b\u00ebnte t\u00eb krishter\u00ebve.<\/p>\n<p>Pas 12 vjet\u00ebsh, Theofili u nd\u00ebshkua nga Per\u00ebndia me nj\u00eb dizenteri t\u00eb r\u00ebnd\u00eb. Theodhora, nga m\u00ebshira e saj e madhe, si dhe nga m\u00ebrzitja q\u00eb ndjeu kur pa t\u00eb shoqin t\u00eb vuante n\u00eb at\u00eb m\u00ebnyr\u00eb t\u00eb dhimbshme, i solli atij nj\u00eb ikon\u00eb t\u00eb Hyjlind\u00ebses dhe ia vendosi mbi fytyr\u00eb. Pasi erdhi n\u00eb vete nga nj\u00eb vizion i tmerrsh\u00ebm q\u00eb pa, Theofili puthi ikon\u00ebn e shenjt\u00eb dhe pohoi Besimin e v\u00ebrtet\u00eb para se t\u00eb jepte shpirt.<\/p>\n<p>Meqen\u00ebse trash\u00ebgimtari i fronit, Mihail III, ishte vet\u00ebm 4 vje\u00e7, Theodhora mori regjenc\u00ebn, duke u mb\u00ebshtetur n\u00eb k\u00ebshillat e urta t\u00eb logothetit Theoktist (20 n\u00ebntor) dhe nd\u00ebrmori restaurimin e t\u00eb gjitha ikonave t\u00eb shenjta, si dhe rikthimin e pohuesve t\u00eb bes\u00ebs orthodhokse nga internimi. N\u00eb mars t\u00eb vitit 843, ajo thirri nj\u00eb sinod q\u00eb hoqi patriarkun heretik Joan VII, autorin e kaq shum\u00eb t\u00eb k\u00ebqijave, dhe ngriti sh\u00ebn Metod Konfesorin n\u00eb fronin patriarkal (14 qershor).<\/p>\n<p>Pas anatemimit t\u00eb heretik\u00ebve dhe konfirmimit t\u00eb vendimeve t\u00eb Sinodit t\u00eb Shtat\u00eb Ekumenik (787), et\u00ebrit u mblodh\u00ebn t\u00eb Diel\u00ebn e Par\u00eb t\u00eb Kreshm\u00ebs (843), me t\u00eb gjith\u00eb konfesor\u00ebt, prift\u00ebrinjt\u00eb dhe murgjit q\u00eb kishin ardhur nga skajet e larg\u00ebta t\u00eb perandoris\u00eb, duke mbajtur ende n\u00eb trupat e tyre shenjat e p\u00ebrgjakura t\u00eb pohimit plot guxim t\u00eb besimit t\u00eb v\u00ebrtet\u00eb. U b\u00eb nj\u00eb litani e madhe, q\u00eb p\u00ebrshkoi mbar\u00eb qytetin e k\u00ebshtu u inaugurua restaurimi i plot\u00eb i ikonave t\u00eb shenjta. Q\u00eb nga ajo koh\u00eb, kjo e kremte kremtohet \u00e7do vit, t\u00eb Diel\u00ebn e Par\u00eb t\u00eb Kreshm\u00ebs s\u00eb Madhe dhe \u00ebsht\u00eb b\u00ebr\u00eb simboli i triumfit t\u00eb Orthodhoksis\u00eb mbi t\u00eb gjitha herezit\u00eb.<\/p>\n<p>Kur u vendos paqja n\u00eb Kish\u00eb, Theodhora tregoi nj\u00eb talent t\u00eb madh qeverisjeje, ve\u00e7an\u00ebrisht n\u00eb fush\u00ebn ekonomike. Ungjill\u00ebzimi i Moravis\u00eb dhe i Bullgaris\u00eb nga misionar\u00eb t\u00eb Perandoris\u00eb Bizantine ka qen\u00eb nism\u00eb e saj. Por, me gjith\u00eb kujdesin e madh q\u00eb tregoi p\u00ebr t\u00eb birin, Mihaili III, ai u tregua mosmir\u00ebnjoh\u00ebs ndaj saj. Ai e bindi at\u00eb t\u2019i jepte fund regjenc\u00ebs, edhe pse nuk e kishte mbushur ende mosh\u00ebn dhe ta detyronte Theodhor\u00ebn dhe vajzat e saj t\u00eb t\u00ebrhiqeshin n\u00eb manastirin e Gastrias (858), edhe pse patriarku Ignat nuk pranoi t\u2019u jepte qethjen murg\u00ebrore.<\/p>\n<p>Duke iu n\u00ebnshtruar vendimeve t\u00eb P\u00ebrkujdesjes Hyjnore, Theodhora ia kushtoi veten dhe jet\u00ebn e saj kreshm\u00ebs, lutjes dhe t\u00eb gjitha rregullave t\u00eb jet\u00ebs engj\u00ebllore. Ajo ia dha frym\u00ebn e saj Per\u00ebndis\u00eb m\u00eb 11 shkurt 867.
