I shtyr\u00eb nga dhembshuria kur pa d\u00ebshp\u00ebrimin dhe vajtimet e guvernatorit, sh\u00ebn Harallambi u lut dhe e sh\u00ebroi. Kjo mrekulli, q\u00eb i habiti t\u00eb gjith\u00eb t\u00eb pranishmit dhe kjo dashuri e Per\u00ebndis\u00eb p\u00ebr t\u00eb krishter\u00ebt e shfaqur haptazi, solli kthimin n\u00eb t\u00eb krishter\u00eb t\u00eb Lukianit, si dhe t\u00eb xhelat\u00ebve Porfir e Bato, q\u00eb besuan te Krishti dhe hoq\u00ebn dor\u00eb nga adhurimi i kot\u00eb i idhujve. Edhe tri gra q\u00eb pan\u00eb t\u00ebr\u00eb ngjarjen, u prek\u00ebn n\u00eb shpirt dhe u kthyen n\u00eb t\u00eb krishtera, duke rr\u00ebfyer kudo besimin te Krishti. Guvernatori u pag\u00ebzua menj\u00ebher\u00eb nga shenjtori dhe nj\u00eb num\u00ebr i madh banor\u00ebsh t\u00eb provinc\u00ebs s\u00eb Azis\u00eb besuan te Krishti.<\/p>\n<p>Kur perandori Severus m\u00ebsoi se banor\u00ebt e Magnezis\u00eb dhe t\u00eb krahin\u00ebs p\u00ebrreth kishin braktisur idhujtarin\u00eb dhe ishin pag\u00ebzuar nga prifti i moshuar, q\u00eb ishte d\u00ebnuar me vdekje, dhe se t\u00eb verbrit fitonin drit\u00ebn e syve me lutjen e tij dhe t\u00eb paralizuarit ecnin, u t\u00ebrbua nga inati. Kjo shenj\u00eb i tmerroi ushtar\u00ebt, t\u00eb cil\u00ebt, n\u00eb pjes\u00ebn tjet\u00ebr t\u00eb rrug\u00ebs, e lan\u00eb t\u00eb qet\u00eb shenjtorin.<\/p>\n<p>Kur e soll\u00ebn para tij, perandori dha urdh\u00ebr ta hidhnin n\u00eb nj\u00eb furr\u00eb t\u00eb nxeht\u00eb. Pasi b\u00ebri nj\u00eb lutje t\u00eb nxeht\u00eb te Per\u00ebndia, sh\u00ebn Harallambi i zgjati dor\u00ebn t\u00eb riut dhe, p\u00ebr habi t\u00eb perandorit, ky u ngrit sikur t\u00eb zgjohej nga gjumi.<\/p>\n<p>At\u00ebher\u00eb prefekti Krispi tha: \u201cMadh\u00ebri, duhet ta vras\u00ebsh menj\u00ebher\u00eb k\u00ebt\u00eb magjistar!\u201d. Kur d\u00ebgjoi k\u00ebto fjal\u00eb, zem\u00ebrimi i perandorit u ngjall p\u00ebrs\u00ebri dhe ai e urdh\u00ebroi sh\u00ebn Harallambin t\u2019u ofronte sakrific\u00eb idhujve. Kur shenjtori e refuzoi k\u00ebt\u00eb urdh\u00ebr, perandori u tha rojave t\u2019i thyenin nofull\u00ebn shenjtorit dhe t\u2019i vinin flak\u00ebn mjekr\u00ebs s\u00eb tij. K\u00ebt\u00eb b\u00ebri shenjtori, por habia e perandorit p\u00ebr fuqin\u00eb e Per\u00ebndis\u00eb zgjati p\u00ebr pak koh\u00eb dhe ai u kthye p\u00ebrs\u00ebri n\u00eb marr\u00ebzin\u00eb e idhujve. Me gjith\u00eb qortimet e Galinis\u00eb, q\u00eb i kujtoi bekimet hyjnore q\u00eb i ishin dhuruar, ai e mbajti sh\u00ebn Harallambin n\u00eb burg dhe e torturoi p\u00ebrs\u00ebri. Perandori iu kthye edhe Galinis\u00eb dhe e k\u00ebrc\u00ebnoi me vdekje, n\u00ebse edhe ajo nuk do t\u2019i sakrifikonte idhujve. Kur mb\u00ebrriti n\u00eb vendin e ekzekutimit, shenjti ngriti syt\u00eb dhe duart drejt qiellit. E fal\u00ebnderoi Per\u00ebndin\u00eb, sepse i dha mund\u00ebsin\u00eb betej\u00ebs s\u00eb tij q\u00eb t\u00eb kuror\u00ebzohej n\u00eb at\u00eb m\u00ebnyr\u00eb dhe i k\u00ebrkoi Atij t\u2019u falte shp\u00ebtimin e shpirtit, sh\u00ebndetin e trupit dhe boll\u00ebkun e t\u00eb mirave n\u00eb k\u00ebt\u00eb jet\u00eb dhe n\u00eb tjetr\u00ebn t\u00eb gjith\u00eb atyre q\u00eb do t\u2019i luten Per\u00ebndis\u00eb n\u00eb emrin e martirit t\u00eb tij, q\u00eb do t\u00eb festonin kujtimin e tij ose do t\u00eb nderonin lipsanin e tij. At\u00ebher\u00eb u d\u00ebgjua nj\u00eb z\u00eb nga qielli: \u201cEja, Harallamb, o njeri trim n\u00eb luft\u00eb, p\u00ebr t\u00eb shijuar g\u00ebzimin dhe lavdin\u00eb e martir\u00ebve dhe t\u00eb prift\u00ebrinjve t\u00eb shenjt\u00eb!\u201d.
