Pas vdekjes s\u00eb prind\u00ebrve, hyri n\u00eb sh\u00ebrbimin e nj\u00eb oficeri turk si grazhdar. Ndon\u00ebse ishte i lidhur me besimin e krishter\u00eb, sh\u00ebrb\u00ebtor\u00ebt e tjer\u00eb turq e kishin b\u00ebr\u00eb zakon ta quanin me nj\u00eb em\u00ebr mysliman: Jaur Hasan. Pas 8 vjet\u00ebsh, tek po p\u00ebrgatitej p\u00ebr fejes\u00ebn me nj\u00eb vajz\u00eb t\u00eb varf\u00ebr t\u00eb krishter\u00eb me emrin Elena, nj\u00eb turk u ankua te gjykat\u00ebsi vendor (kadiu), duke th\u00ebn\u00eb se Hasani ishte mysliman dhe donte t\u00eb martohej me nj\u00eb t\u00eb krishter\u00eb. Pas shum\u00eb thashethemesh, Gjergji, i cili ishte i p\u00ebrmbajtur dhe fjal\u00eb pak, arriti t\u00eb tregonte se ishte lindur i krishter\u00eb dhe k\u00ebshtu do t\u00eb mbetej p\u00ebrjet\u00eb. U martua dhe hyri n\u00eb sh\u00ebrbim t\u00eb nj\u00eb titullari otoman n\u00eb qytetin e Filatit.<\/p>\n<p>Dit\u00ebn kur e shoqja i lindi djal\u00eb (12 janar 1838), shkoi n\u00eb Janin\u00eb p\u00ebr nj\u00eb \u00e7\u00ebshtje, por p\u00ebrs\u00ebri akuzuesi i tij i par\u00eb nuk e la t\u00eb qet\u00eb. Gjergjin e nxor\u00ebn para gjykat\u00ebsit ku rr\u00ebfeu pa u l\u00ebkundur se kishte qen\u00eb i krishter\u00eb dhe kurr\u00eb nuk e kishte mohuar besimin e et\u00ebrve. E fut\u00ebn n\u00eb burg, dhe atje u nxit nga t\u00eb krishter\u00eb t\u00eb tjer\u00eb ta \u00e7onte betej\u00ebn deri n\u00eb p\u00ebrsosm\u00ebrin\u00eb e martirizimit. Nj\u00eb qenie e ndritshme iu shfaq, e leht\u00ebsoi nga v\u00ebshtir\u00ebsit\u00eb q\u00eb e r\u00ebndonin dhe i dha guxim mbinjer\u00ebzor. K\u00ebshtu, me g\u00ebzim t\u00eb pap\u00ebrshkruar, n\u00eb m\u00ebngjesin e 17 janarit, ai priti vendimin e d\u00ebnimit me vdekje. Shkoi pas xhelat\u00ebve drejt ekzekutimit, si dreri i etur drejt burimit t\u00eb ujit t\u00eb gjall\u00eb (Ps. 41.1). Trupi i tij mbeti i varur p\u00ebr 3 dit\u00eb. Prej tij rrodhi arom\u00eb er\u00ebmir\u00eb dhe rojat pan\u00eb me syt\u00eb e tyre ta rrethonte nj\u00eb drit\u00eb qiellore. P\u00ebrfundimisht, lipsani i tij iu dor\u00ebzua mitropolitit Joakim, i cili i mblodhi t\u00eb gjith\u00eb t\u00eb krishter\u00ebt e Janin\u00ebs p\u00ebr t\u00eb celebruar me solemnitet funeralin e neomartirit t\u00eb Krishtit. Gjat\u00eb ceremonis\u00eb ndodh\u00ebn shum\u00eb mrekulli dhe lipsanet e tij vazhdojn\u00eb t\u00eb kryejn\u00eb edhe
